Nivedita Choudhary is the first woman from the Indian Air Force (IAF) to summit Mt Everest, and the first woman from Rajasthan to do so, even the skies haven’t been the limit! Choudhary had undergone basic mountaineering training for a month in Darjeeling, and she was selected for the Everest expedition based on her performance. The Kamet summit was a precursor to the Everest mission. A firm believer that women are successful mountaineers owing to the fact that mountaineering is primarily a mind game that also entails physical strength, Choudhary is one of the many women that inspire women across the world to dream big and achieve their goals with hard work and determination.
