hop for the character ask!! and questions 2, 12 & 23 💜

Thank you so much for the ask! Hop is my favourite swsh rival, so I'm excited to answer questions about him.

2. Favorite canon thing about this character?

Well, I love Hop's energy and enthusiasm. I also like how resilient he is in canon. No matter how many setbacks get thrown his way, Hop doesn't give up easily. I loved how part of his character arc is learning that he doesn't have to be exactly like his older brother.

12. What's a headcanon you have for this character?

I have some headcanons about Hop as a Professor-in-training. Mainly, he studies as an intern for Professor Kukui in Alola. Hop gets to learn all about pokemon moves in order to better understand the nature of Max and Gmax Moves.

As a full pledged professor, I also headcanon that Hop does research on the battle related aspects of Dynamaxing. He determines which Max/Gmax Moves are worth using over others. Hop also researches the connection between the Gigantamax Factor and Max Mushrooms.

23. Favorite picture of the character?

I have a screenshot of Hop from pokemon twilight wings that's my absolute fave. It's a picture of him and his Wooloo asleep in a flying taxi. They're so precious! Here's the picture:

Coral — what’s something you’re passionate about?

Oh man, this one’s tough only because I can think of various ways I can implement what I’m passionate about. Depends on what aspect. For fandoms—I’m really passionate about writing!! I love creating stuff and seeing the progress I’ve made with my writing over the years always makes me smile!

I can also implement that toward my passions in the workforce methinks! I work for a government agency and right now I’m really hounding into the upper heads on trying to get more diversity training and more access for our Spanish speaking people who need our services.

There’s more honestly but these are the two that are off the top of my head :D
