ok, to add on to my gen-z 80s cobra kai au here’s my headcanons about majority of them (ill finish dutch and tommy sometime this week)

bobby is that one foo who only listens to bedroom pop, everyone secretly has a crush on him and for some reason he gives off the vibe that he has like a certain aesthetic of average indie asshole, def dresses like a golfer for the aesthetic

jimmy would dress Like he’s going to church but would wear shorts when it‘s snowing. he gives off “devils-advocate“ kid in history/english/debate classes, but honestly doesn’t even say much to even be one. he kind of adapted to the cobra‘s loud nature so much, he doesn’t even say anything.

johnny is pretty much the same but more of a menace. he refuses to join social media, only has a discord account at most (which tommy or daniel had to teach him to use). he also has a unhealthy high tolerance for energy drinks, but not monster or anything, like really dad-ish ones. he thinks unironic impact font memes are funny.

tommy is a stupid lil band kid without being in band. Meaning he really just likes memes but really dead Ones. he has THAT hoodie and doesn’t realize it only makes himself look like an ass. he has a switch and it drives kreese up the wall when he plays it on the floor instead of practicing, also also, he would be the only one of the five who know how to use discord, so he had to teach everyone how to use it. there is a discord server for the five and whoever in cobra kai would want to join it. they cyberbully. jimmy isn’t shorts in winter, tommy is long sleeves in summer.

DUTCH!! Man. I’ve been meaning to talk about him as A Goth Myself. Obviously, he’s some form of edgy. He has a tiktok which he 100% posts thirst traps on, fuckboy mcgee. He dresses way too well. He’s not really well versed on memes, but thinks anything with animals is the funniest shit Ever. taking from my gf’s headcanon, and saying he saw the lost boys (once) and decised to copy that whole vibe. he is kind of a poser.
