I feel worse eating monogamous animals. like... maybe that guy was married
#rambl#this is one post i cannot put on twitter bc they don't have tags there so i can't do my full paragraph of out-of-band lawyerly disclaimers#which is that farmed ducks (afaik the only monogamous animal I eat) are killed at 6-7 weeks of age#so you know... they are not married.#but this shitpost originates from me talking out loud to partners about my compunctions about just grabbing 1 from the local lake#the lake ducks seem pretty married.#content note: factory farming#edit: i assumed ducks were like geese but actually ducks are seasonally monogamous not fully monogamous
