Honestly, she was still trying to figure things out. She couldn’t help but be worried about those left behind in Chaldea. It helped that at least she wasn’t completely alone. She really didn’t want to think of what might’ve happened if that wasn’t the case. Still, to suddenly find herself living a new life..it was weird. And maybe she felt a little guilty too.

She was on her way to do a quick grocery run, figuring now was as good a time as any to flex those cooking skills Emiya had taught her. But that was when she noticed a rather...familiar appearance. She blinked and did a double take. Was she just imagining things? 

A tiny blossom of hope rose up within her as she rushed forward, though the nagging thought in her mind was if this was a Singularity, she probably wouldn’t remember her. Unless she came directly from Chaldea herself?

“Euryale! Er--Archer, you’re here too?” she asked, doing her best to brace herself for whatever reaction the other might have.

Emotion Roulette: BOREDOM

Stifling a yawn, Kyo stretched his arms in front of his chest as his ears popped. The day was irregularly mundane, which normally wouldn’t bother the Zodiac cat. Yet, becoming accustomed to a land where you weren’t the only magical presence changed the way that one viewed the world. And on a cloudy, cold day with no work and no classes and everything in Celestia unable to keep his attention, Kyo couldn’t help but sit in the park in this boredom.

Another yawn demanded to be freed, and Kyo arched his back as he stretched his arms behind his back and over the bench. When his hands collided with something, he glanced over his shoulder. “Sorry about that,” he muttered, poorly covering his mouth as he yawned one last time.

“Are you sure you can’t?”

Her eyes were big and wide, smiling hopefully. Supposed she had her way, maybe she wouldn’t have resorted to begging. Asking the man to let her pass through the cordoned street was a challenge in and of itself. He was adamant that she not go through because it would be unfair to others.

Like she cared about that.

Another whine escaped her, one that used to get people to kneel prostrate on the ground. He still refused. This wasn’t going on as planned and Lila was getting fed up with the fact that this person wasn’t budging on her measly request.

“Couldn’t you make an exception for us?” Lila pulled the nearest girl beside her: a lilac-haired child who had walked past at the best time (in her opinion). No idea if the other girl would find it appealing to be used as an excuse.

“My friend and I would really appreciate it if you let us through!”

The moment he'd started the task of taking apart and cleaning out the espresso machine for the night as they worked on closing the cafe down, was the moment he'd realized he'd made a mistake in agreeing to clean said machine without much of a fight on his part. How the machine managed to get so dirty so fast in the span of a day, especially when it had been cleaned out the night before, he didn't know but here they were. 'People sure love their coffee,' he thought with a shake of his head as he settled into the nightly routine of removing the smaller parts of the machine to clean. "What the-?" He said aloud as he pulled out a small metal pitcher from where it had been hidden behind the machine, "what's this even supposed to be?" He muttered as he studied the contents of the small jug before placing it on the tray with the other pieces to clean, deciding that he'd be better off not knowing. He glanced at the clock hanging on the wall above the machine at the sound of the cafe's door opening, alerting him to the arrival of a last minute customer. Dang, another ten minutes and they would have been in the clear. "Welcome to TT Cafe," he greeted as he turned away from the machine and faced the younger teen now standing in front of the counter, "what can I get for you?" He spoke, whipping his hands dry with a rag, "fair warning though, we're pretty limited with what's available given the time."

Drip Drip Frozen Cold Showers

A shuddering shiver raced up Luka’s arms as a cold droplet of autumn rain collided onto his bare hand. Recently the shifting weather had become unbearable, each degree that dropped becoming a grim reminder that the weather here could be more dreadful than back at home. And Luka wasn’t prepared for the chilly weather, especially when rain, cold and thick, decided to fall from the skies.

His sweatshirt was thin and not idealistic for this weather. And he knew that if he stepped from under the awning of this bus stop (with a vehicle that never seem to come), then he would be drenched and spend the remainder of his day more frozen than a winter lake.

Bringing his hands to his mouth and breathing warmth onto them, he turned towards the other that was also trapped with him. “So how’s the weather?” he joked, coughing from his quick laughter.

You say that as if those gods are not an inherently childish and often disgusting duo, Euryale. Haven’t you heard any of the tales? I’d thought we were used to it by now.

Fran was, as usual, by herself amidst a field of flowers. She spent nearly all her free time here, simply picking and gathering the local flora.. However, she soon looked up and saw someone else approaching: another of Chaldea’s Servants. She looked a little bit like that purple-haired Rider, but not quite...

Chaldea was weird enough, with the whole Servant thing, and even she wasn’t quite adjusted to it...but it was nice having an abundance of targets when she went into battle. That was something she could get used to. After all, that was a specialty of hers, wasn’t it? And yet, the abundance of unusual Servants was strange.....a thought she voiced as she stared at the small being before her. 

“What, so even kids can be Servants?” she asked aloud, a small frown tugging at her lips. “Isn’t that kind of dangerous? I mean....Kinda defeats the purpose, right?”

    Kero from Cardcaptor Sakura! I loved the series when I was younger and I loved Kero’s character (both as his stuffie and released forms) and he’s been re-emerging as of late! I hope I’m not cursing myself into muse hell again by remembering him :sob:
