Hiiii. I'm in the process of making a pro-trans Cross thing. Essentially making the point that a character being trans does not affect anything about them, and is good for people who resonate with said character. I was gong to ask if I could use your trans Cross art in it! You would recieve credit in the tags/caption and in the image itself(a bit of text added saying the art belongs to you) I'm a small account so it won't boost it's just to show how many people love trans Cross and such Don't feel pressured to say yes. Yes they can. I think I've drawn Cross baring his teeth at Dust, but that's about it. But Cross mostly does it when he's irritated. Horror would do if he feels threatened. Epic would do it too :3c

What's your view on the relationships between Dust, horror and killer? How do they view eachother? Do they get along? Do they hate eachother? Is it complicated?

The trio have a complex relationship. As a general situation, Horror acts as a mature big brother, 'brother' being used very loosely here. When Dust and Killer fight and Horror happens to hear, he will intervene, often threatening the pair of them. As the big guy will often come unannounced and will be close to them, his physical strength would out match any magic the pair could muster up. Magic > Physical when able to prepare. Physical > Magic when unexpected. He's mature and acts like an old man with a proper routine. He wakes up at a specific time every day, sleeps at a certain time, always eats things at a certain time.

Considering his loyalty to Nightmare, he often works out for excessive amounts of time. 5 hours one day, 7 the next, 11 occasionally. The longest he'd done was 15 hours and 30 minutes. He's a rock in the others lives, he very rarely deviates from his routine, and if he does they're aware of it.

"Where's Horror?" - Nightmare

"It's... 11:30. He'll be working out in the gym. Probably doing weights." - Dust/Killer

And he'd be doing exactly that 99 times out of a hundred.

Horror is aware of what they did to their Papyrus'. He's not happy about it (duh) but as the mature figure he tries to hear their reasons out, even though any reminder of it makes him want to rip their bones apart. He's generally quite relaxed though, just don't mention Papyrus and he's good.

Although despite his calm exterior, he often can get annoyed and so heads to Farm tale to let some of his anger out and relax. As well as gather food for the gang and his own AU. There's very few Sanses who like and don't fear Horror. Farm is one of them, as well as Nightmare and Classic. As both Killer and Dust do fear him somewhat. Each level I explain further complicates this very simple ask. But Horror works for Farm 8 hours a week, however depending on how Dust in particular acts, can spend up to 20 or 30 hours there.

His bond with Farm is again, really complex. It is a branch into a potential Horrorfarm ship, but mainly serves as mental torment to Dust. Since the guy doesn't want to feel anything towards Horror, but pushing him away makes him feel even worse. It's a hatred of finally knowing things will be okay, as he doesn't believe that things will ever be okay. Not to mention that the happy ending involves Dust losing Papyrus' hallucination, an idea he can't currently grapple with.

To summarise, Horror is the rock in both Killer and Dust's lives. However his relationship with Dust is kind of rocky. But his bond with Killer is consistent. Killer may treat Horror to a drink or two if Dust is being annoying.

Now for Killer and Dust, they typically choose to stay away from each other unless a mission or some other event causes them to interact. They both respect each other, but Dust resents Killer, and Killer resents Dust for resenting him. But Killer can drive the hatred deeper by annoying Dust, though he does that less now as Cross is now part of the gang (unofficially, but he might as well be). Generally their bond is that of brothers who only get along when their older brother is there. None of them are brothers, but Horror intimidates them enough to the point he might as well be. I know brother is the wrong term to use since I do ship the poly but I can't think of a better word.

I know has a lot more, but in general Killer and Dust just choose to stay away from each other.

head canons that make you insane about the bad or star sans?

okok this can be taken two ways

So I'll do both, starting with the first one.

Stars:

I find it amazing when Dream is given less innocence, but also isn't an asshole. I know this isn't really a 'headcanon', but the amount of times Dream is either some innocent toddler or an asshole is ridiculous. Like give him morals and stuff that he might lash out at but come on.

Dream having possession of something that reminds him of Passive Nightmare, a journal or some pictures. Maybe something like Basil's photo album from Omori.

When they aren't all assholes... AHHH I LOVE IT. I know this is the bare minimum but the stars have been butchered by the fandom so badly ☹️

Ink knowing about some AU details, but not all. It's more interesting, he may forget some of it anyway, as he's very forgetful.

Swap not being yandere.

Them being friends, I don't like them having drama, or at least if they do they can ignore it to protect the multiverse.

Most of my headcanons focus on the bad sanses since that's how I maintained my interest in the fandom. I've always preferred villains in stories. There's probably more I'm just not remembering. I know theres more it's just not coming to mind

Bad Sanses:

Dadmare is a headcanon I have always LOVED. it's not my main au, so depending on how I want a story to go, I may adjust characters, but Dadmare is a guilty pleasure.

Headcanons that delve deep into the mental of them. How Horror is mentally, Dust is, Killer is, Cross, error etc.

Speaking of that, Cross being a part of the bad sanses is a must, or he must be at least aligned with them (I'll discuss what this means in another post) and Error must occasionally work alongside them, and would have a room at the castle.

BRO I could yap for ages oml.

A general idea that Horror, Killer and Dust cancel out each other flaws. Horror is amazing physically, Dust is amazing magically, Killer is a mix. They all balance out another. Like I'm not saying Horror is gonna wipe the floor with with Murder, but he would certainly stand a chance, and given a chance, would easily win. Killers a Jack of all trades, hes fantastic magically and physically, but doesn't specialise. However since he has both he can use his skills to confuse apponents.

Silly Killer is funny.

okay this is actually kind of hard to write about. I can do bad headcanons easier. So in no particular order:

Making Fell abusive towards Lust

Making the Fallen Starts exist... I've seen them properly executed less than 5 times.

Making Horror act EXTREMELY feral (I do like it, but there's a line... and people treat it like a fucking jump rope.)

Making Nightmare extremely horrible. I don't mean he has to be a dad, but I personally have a limit, I like the angst, it's just not what I'd personally have in my AU.

The Bad Sanses becoming 'good', maybe they're not as bad as people thought, but making them good I don't like.

I think my least favourite headcanon of all time would probably be like Classic being on the star sanses.

I LOVE MY BOY CLASSIC OKAY. AND I WANT HIM NEUTRAL. And when he joins the stars for some reason he veomes super emo and depressed and shit and suddenly has an alter ego like this is some Jeckyl and Hyde. I don't like him being on the star sanses AT ALL.

You can also write abt Killer X Epic, 's a pair I love. It's kinda like "unstable freak who bites x some dude"

Given the instability of it all, Horror had grown quite tired of his bond with Murder. Sure one day Murder was the best boyfriend one could ask for, the next he was violent, the following an angel, then the next a devil. The constant cycle made him hate every day of the week, either he had to deal with Murder's episodes, or was worrying about one happening at any moment. Now to say it was Murder's fault, whilst is technically correct in the most pointless way, is a bit insensitive. Horror was at his wits end though. After bandaging up yet another wound he had from the smaller skeleton, he swore one more time would be the end. One last time would be it.

He was surprisingly patient with Murder. He had to be. Murder was like a powdered keg, about to explode. Horror was the opposite, he was a big guy, who was surprisingly calm, but intelligent. He was the total antithesis of his counterpart. He smartened himself a bit, which meant desummoning his magic axe, tightening his belt with the throwing axes attached and straightening his jacket. He looked oddly like a lumberjack, a lumberjack who for some odd reason carried throwing axes. Horror swiped the mirror of its dust, cleaning up a bit of his dressing table and went out, heading to the kitchen.

This was meant to be a bad day for Murder. A day he'd completely shut down and either be entirely reliant on Horror for everything, or despise him for everything. This would mean Horror restraining him, which he never liked doing. However the skeleton was just sat at the bar in the kitchen, a small glass of non alcoholic wine (juice) in his hand. He looked away from Horror for a moment, getting his bearings. Today had been oddly calm for the crazed monster. No hallucinations, no distorted thoughts. Everything felt fine, and for a while it was going to stay fine.

The pair conversed, and it was fine. All was well. They talked about their friends, somewhere they'd like to eat, maybe in a week, maybe two. Childhood drama. Again, everything was fine. Horror had forgotten his anger with Murder, he was fine. Calm. He was even... happy. That was odd for Horror. Not that he hadn't felt happy before, but it just felt unusual given the context. The pair stared at each other, Murder's usual shadowed face completely unshrouded. A gentle smile came across Murder's face.

"It's not your fault dear."

Horror looked confused, he obviously knew he wasn't at fault, he hadn't done anything.

"No. Horror you can't keep doing this."

It felt like a dagger to the larger skeletons heart to be called Horror, but Murder never really called him anything beside that. He was unsure why he felt so hurt. But, besides that he was still confused.

"Horror. You'll forgive yourself right?"

Horror did as asked, still smiling at the smaller one, the name still hurt but he respected the smaller ones wishes.

"Horror. I love you."

He looked at where Murder was, finding himself in his bedroom now, but the skeleton was gone. The walls around no longer bright from the sunlight outside, and were now worn down, and rotted in some places. The large skeleton now only wore a tattered pair of boxers, his bones covered in dried, red tears. Looking at the spot once more, a thick pile of dust, a red scarf, a jacket.

"Horror. I love you."

Anyway, Dream is a unique character, but I feel so many representations of him don't do him right. I find it hard to imagine him in a way I like. Shattered is a big no no. As his own character, that's fine, but him sharing the same body as Dream annoys me in a way I can't describe. I adore the idea of Shattered, but not the execution by the fandom.

Dream can be his own character, he has a motive, he has flaws.

He wants to save his brother, he can't accept the possibility of his brother being dead.

He doesn't like Corrupted, but can acknowledge that if he wants to have his brother, Corrupted must live.

He also isn't a psychopathic murderer either like I see some people make him. I don't think he'd find pleasure in harming people, he's a being of positivity.

He's experienced emotional trauma, however has never experienced physical trauma. - not that one is more valid than the other, but it differentiates him and Nightmare.

He can't say he fully relates to Nightmares suffering as he doesn't. But he would never even consider eating a negative apple to 'relate'.

I've put like 90% of my attention on the bad sanses and classic so I haven't really thought much as to how he fits in

But I do know that he's happy Nightmare has found people. He would never try and convert Cross or Dust to the stars. In fact he would directly oppose any plans Ink or Swap had to do so.

Whether it's naive, he believes he can save Nightmare or at least calm him down. And it has worked slightly, Nightmares destructive and negative sides have cooled a bit over time. Not extremely so, but by a decent amount.

Like a garden of flowers, but flowers that suck all your energy depending on who you are, like good and bad, but also with actions, if you regret the bad you did, the flowers can forgive, (only if you're truly regretful though)

OKAY OKAYYY I'm liking this

I feel as though something like this goes with his character - not necessarily canon duh - but something in the realm of possibility. Nightmare has a garden he cares for and tends to, but anyone who steps has mental flashbacks or smth. Like they have an ability to rid one of guilt if someone is truly regretful and can highlight if someone is lying. Not like he'd need to use it as guilt is a negative emotion. But he may occasionally use it. I think he'd mainly use it as just a garden. Maybe let someone tend to it. I think Horror would like to garden, but I think Dust would rather suffer endless nightmares than have to garden.

Horror fell is more of (to me) a friendship turned relationship. Like they don't really know how yo act romantic so it's just platonic... then yknow. that stuff. Like if you saw them it's like 'oh they're just good friends'. They'd act 100% gay with each other THOUGH. like are they in love or not? From an outside view it's impossible to tell

I'd adore to see more done with the shop cause Mmmm it's tasty. I feel like Fell could be intimidated by Horror and then Horror is just a big ol softie to Fell. So it's hard to say. There's no dead set 'dynamics' but I see it like that.

Don't know how to be romantic so it's just platonic and suggestive and beyond. No typical romance

Still loves everything about him tho.

Fell probably snores and Horror gets annoyed so sometimes wears earplugs to bed.

Mentions of SwapDream Dream Sans

Occasionally I'll see people express their dislike for sans OC's, which you are well within your right to. However every AU is an OC, even if they've been adopted by the fandom such as Swap, Fell and Lust (i think).

They are still OC's. OC's are so incredibly useful to keeping this fandom afloat. I understand you may have specific ones you dislike, I for one do not like Unlust, Yandereswap, Alphatale (although this is sort of a lie) and many others. Obviously the former two are both AU's of an AU, making an OC using the template of a pre existing OC. But every AU did that with Classic Sans anyways

My dislike of Yandereswap is not necessarily because it is a yandere AU, but the absolute destruction of it as a potentially interesting AU. The fallen stars are an absolutely barbaric take on the Stars and make absolutely no sense. Each person can interpret their AU as their own, so I will not harass or make fun of anyone who views them in a certain way, so long as you can acknowledge that them existing makes no sense. However the individual AU's themselves are interesting in a way.

YanSwap could have been interesting, though I find 99% of the time people do it, it has no reference to 'yandere' and is just essentially a Dust AU with a different motive. Also when he is a yandere its almost always with the protagonist(Chara) or his brother... SO YKNOW I'm not the biggest fan.

Obviously you can take the idea of an AU and change it to better suit the scenario you're putting them in as a writer/artist, and this doesn't mean anyone who uses yandereswap makes him fall in love with those two people, after all DustBerry exists. But seeing an extreme amount of content that paints an AU in a certain light can make you uncomfortable to work with the AU or just make you dislike it.

I have started to warm up to a yandereswap, even though I'm not really a fan of the yandere archetype anyway. I still hate Dustberry because of it. Sorry not Sorry.

Unlust is a complex AU with history with the fandom, and in itself is quite odd. I have researched, but do forgive me if anything I say is canon, turns out to be retconned/not canon at all. The fandom portrayed Unlust as being in an abusive relationship with Fell. <I wrote a whole section here about 10 times the length of this but I found it difficult to write down my true feelings on the matter without it sounding like I was justifying Fell's hitting of Lust (to my knowledge, Fell hit Lust once because he was mentally out of it because of a fight he had with Fell Papyrus.) This obviously doesn't justify it, but 'abuse' as a verb, must be repetitive behaviours. If Fell hit Lust every day, that could be classified as abuse, hitting him once is not. But again this sounds like I'm justifying Fell, which I'm not. They ended up getting together in canon (after a long thing with Dust, Nightmare and an alter ego) yeah uh, don't bother with it. If it makes it worse the creator shipped Chara x Sans(theyre not in the fandom anymore thats why past tense is used)

My dislike of Alphatale isn't because of anything specific, I just don't like omnipotent God OC's. I'm guilty of it as I had made one before. But an OC without flaw/ability to lose or be harmed to me ruins the fun. It's sad because I find the designs interesting. I love 404's design, I adore Infected's design. But I'm not the biggest fan of the AU. Also it canonically came before Undertale... which... how does an alternate come before the original? We'll never know. It is interesting, but I don't really like God OC's sooo yknow.

The thing with designs brings me to a certain... Swapdream dream sans. I adore his design, he looks so cool. But his AU... and creator... yeah uh, if you know... you know.

Anyway this got really off topic, regardless. AU's and OC's are the same thing here. I appreciate the work people put into AU's. It is okay to not like certain AU's, but if you say you don't like sans OC's you're being a bit odd. Like I know what you mean,

You don't like smaller AU's like Anxiety Sans, ADHD sans and so on.

However you don't give these smaller AU's a chance. So many cool AU's I've been introduced to in a certain server *cough cough* violet banquet. I wouldn't have been interested prior, but I'm slowly starting to warm up to the idea of these AU's people would call OC's.

So I guess uhh, just have an open mind. Don't shut it out because you already have enough, creation is a beautiful thing we have in this fandom, and seeing new OC design and art is so FUCKING COOL
