we don't talk about the concept of james x jett enough

first of all, the reaction from the rest of the boys would be so fucking funny cause james would be like “guys im just as confused as all yall idk how it happened either”

the idea that they always knew the other was really fine and just didn't want to admit it, but after they got together it's all they could talk about. fr obsessed with each other the way they are obsessed with themselves

them getting ready for events like “babe we are gonna make the other couples weep over how inferior they are to us” 

they are such competitive people and i think that competitiveness is ultimately how they'd get together. trying to one up each other.

it starts with a casual “i bet im a better kisser than you.” obviously they have to prove the other wrong and prove they are the superior kisser. but “damn he was a really good kisser…i wanna kiss him again”

things progress and oops now they have crushes on eachother. and there is no panic of “what if he doesn't like me back?!” cause duh “if i like him he has to like me. i'm great…but i am gonna be the one to ask him out first and it's gonna be better than anything anybody could imagine!” 

now they're together and they keep one-upping each other on dates and gifts, but they realize it's not because they wanna be “the better one” anymore. they just wanna do nice things for each other because they like each other so much (gaaaay)

over time they become competitive together, wanting to one up other people as a duo.

The boys def also had a really long talk with jett which was very “protective father intimidates his daughters boyfriend” core except jett wasn't intimidated at all…until katie had a talk with him. that worked and he is terrified of her now (james finds it hilarious) 

fans listening to BTR and being like “yeah james wrote that verse about jett 100%”

the rest of the boys slowly warming up to jett

My brain keeps braining and i have more ideas but this post seems long enough
