HI. am curious abt noel & gavyn if u want could u share some facts about them? like who are their favorite people or what are the worst locations they have been to? 👀

oh boy uh. i know next to nothing abt noel bc i am only a couple of hours into da2 and don’t rlly know how i want to play him yet but i’m planning to romance fenris and anders with him (gd fucking bless the da2 poly mod). he’s Transgender and Gay As Fuck and he’s also a mage. i think carver is one of his favorite people and it makes him extremely sad that their relationship is. not good. also he hates cops and already has a lot of rivalry w aveline. idk abt worst location!

gavyn my beloved gavyn is a circle mage and the second to last child in a family of 6. there’s a pretty significant gap between them and their youngest brother—like 14 years, so gavyn was already in the circle when their brother was born. you would Think that as a trevelyan gavyn would’ve been in a privileged position in the circle but the thing is. their parents litcherally do not care abt them. as circles go ostwick isn’t Terrible but being there broke gavyn’s spirit pretty badly. like. yknow how its super infuriating that wynne is still a liberal reformist despite all of the horrible shit that happened to her in kinloch? yeah, gavyn is like that too. fighting back has only ever made it worse—retaliation from templars, letters from their family about how important the reputation of their house is and how gavyn should refrain from anything that would reflect badly on the rest of their family. (unlike wynne though, i think gavyn could probably be radicalized given enough time/effort)

despite the fact that they’ve never met their younger brother in person, i think he’s one of gavyn’s favorite people. i need to come up w a name for him but i think the fact that their parents simultaneously despise them and refuse to talk abt them just made him Insatiably curious about his older sibling, and he started trying to sneak out letters to them when he was 13 or 14. gavyn’s replies always have to be cautious—their parents almost certainly read them—but they get so much joy out of their occasional correspondence and they’re really happy that they got to see him grow up even if just through being Pen Pals (gavyn is, i think, 36 at the time of the conclave, making their brother 22)

writing all this up made me RLLY rlly want to write abt them meeting bc their brother absolutely runs away from ostwick to meet the herald of andraste
