started this short story collection im like three out of twenty in but im enjoying it so much so far theyre very. nothing happens in them like literally nothing happens but in such a nice way they all feel like listening pigeons coo in the morning or walking 2 the newsagent when u r eight

#springs of affection by maeve brennan...just happened 2 pick it up in the bookshop on a whim i usually go in with a list of what 2 look 4..#marked improvement from the last book i read but then again thats not hard considering it was. sincerely terrible #gave it 0.5 stars...do u know what that takes from me. im not an extreme guy based on my storygraph stats i have only ever given out two #0.5s and three 5s...it was that bad...it was that devoid of merit or value 2 me...i didnt even give american psycho 0.5...#this is lovely though! its giving ronan hession n claire keegan maybe its. something about irish literature idk but its lovely #reading tag
