Um 10 Uhr ging es von Zuhause los nach Hamburg. Die Aufregung stieg von Kilometern zu Kilometer an und um 12:00 Uhr waren wir auch schon Hamburg. Das Auto haben wir bei unserem Cousin Geparkt und dann ging es für uns mit den öffentlichen weiter zum Flughafen. Natürlich waren wir wieder viel zu früh da, aber die Zeit haben wir uns mit bummeln, essen und schnattern vertrieben. 16:25 Uhr ging dann endlich unser Flieger. Der Flug mit Emirates war sehr angenehm, der beste den wir je hatte. Die 6 Stunden Flug vergingen aber wie im Flug und schon waren wir in Dubai. 

Die Temperatur hat uns erschlagen, 38 Grad um 24 Uhr, das ist definitiv gewöhnungsbedürftig.Unseren Koffer und den Zoll haben wir schnell und ohne Probleme bewältigt, wir waren sehr überrascht wie problemlos und fix das ganze ging. Anschließend haben wir uns ein Taxi gesucht und waren auch schon eine halbe Stunde später, für ca. 15€ bei unserem “Gateaway Hotel” im Zentrum des alten Dubai´s, nur wenige Schritte von dem Souk (Gewürz Markt, Goldmarkt) entfernt. In der Nähe sind viele kleine Geschäfte, mehrere Moschen und vor allem sehr viele Einheimische. Das ist toll, denn so lernen wir Land und Leute kennen.

Nun gehts zunächst ins Bett, damit wir den 1/3 Tagen voll auskosten können.
