Lord Randolf
Lord Randolph Le Rous (born 1st April 1953) nicknamed ‘The Corinthian’ is the current CEO of Coratech Global, a nano-robotics company specialising in ‘Alternate Matter Engines’, and former swordsman of the Renegade House.
Born in Akenham, Suffolk to Lord Erasmus and Lady Jane Le Rous of Rise Hall, where he spent his early years. He was sent away to boarding school in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire at the age of 6 to learn the Bourchier style of Fencing (Sword-Fighting), along with the older Brtish Mystic Arts of Koli-woball and Arcanon.
He lost his sight at age 14 in an unfortunate accident with a Dragonfly (Sympetrum flaveolum) at a picnic. He was finally made to remove both of his eyeballs in a universal action issued as part of the Gastonheath Decree. He has commented in several interviews that this was ‘a very troubling time for him’.
His disability did not hinder his academic prowess, and he was able to work on a method of understanding complex mathematical problems via echolocation. His 1975 academic paper on “Using Koli-infused microbial force in understanding Death Token Engines (DTEs)” is credited for kick-starting the breakthrough in Death Technology that the new generation of Polyworth Engineers, such as Lexington Lombardo and Gaynor Ma, were rapidly able to advance.
His academic accolades did not however make him exempt from the Graham Law and so in 1977 he travelled the countryside of Cambridgeshire and nearby Hertfordshire as a man-for-hire. Using his knowledge of DTE and skills in Bourchier Fencing he was able to help the local population avert the local Farmers Amnesty and stopped the desolation of a nearby monolith. He wrote fondly of this time in 1996 biography ‘The rise of the Beast and Berry’.
In 1984, he worked with Janice Linke and Horsfond DeBeck to form the self funded CoraFrame Technologies in Wembley, North London. The company output was based on a methodology of DTE infused nano-technology developed by Linke and Le Rous during a chance meeting at the International Freedom and Free Will Faire in West Germany. The company grew from 3 employees to 2,500 in under 6 years, However Le Rous struggled to get the Alternate Matter Engine working due to a difficulty with harvesting Actaea pachypoda so requested that Horsfond find a new supplier in far off lands.
In 1990, Linke was arrested for possessing materials outlawed under the Gastonheath Decree and Horsfond was trapped in a Yugoslavian border dispute. Le Rous was able to purchase Linkes share of the company and used the predicament of Horsfond to make a power grab. He re-branded the company Coratech.
The rest is history and within 2 years the first working Alternate Matter Engine , Little Nemo, was successfully manufactured using the plans Le Rous had developed using Invictus and Neasdon methods.
Linke released an inflammatory document regarding Le Rous use of the Mystic Arts in Engineering and made allegations of ill-feeling before her execution by Brazen Bull in 1994. Randolph settled posthumously with her estate and was eventually honoured in the Ceremony of the Night Sky in 1996 and furthermore promoted to the rank of Master Sentinel in 2002.
His current activities have not been monitored since the Graham Law was repealed in 2008.
