Things I’m Still Confused About After Finishing Twin Peaks The Return

Everything. 

But first of all, if JUDY is technically BOB’s superior, then why does the ring that blocks out BOB have her symbol on it? Does it make her embody the person wearing it which makes him too scared to possess them? He seems to be running away from giving her and the rest of the Black Lodge spirits their garmonbonzia, so maybe the ring forces him back into the Lodge and that’s why he’s scared? But in FWWM when he kills Laura he does go back to the Lodge on purpose to give The Arm and MIKE their garmonbonzia? Does it prevent him from harvesting the person wearing it’s garmonbonzia? So that means JUDY took the garmonbonzia? oh god i’ve said garmonbonzia so many goddamn ti-

Did BOB know that JUDY was inhabiting Sarah? If so, why did he stay in the house? And was JUDY playing the long game in letting Sarah be drugged by Leland so Laura could get more garmonbonzia? 

This next thing isn’t even a lingering question, it’s more of a theory or getting an implication down on paper. So, it seems like the reason Laura was so special is not just because The Giant and the lady from the Eraserhead Lodge birthed her in 1947 and she contains the golden orb specialness, but also because JUDY and BOB are also her parents. So she’s the pure combination of the energies of both the White Lodge and the Black Lodge. That’s what I took out of it anyway. 

Also, is Cooper forgetting or did he just realize it was a fake world? And who made the fake world? I personally think it’s Cooper even though the common consensus is that JUDY did it due to the title of the diner Laura works in. 

If it is Cooper, then did he plan it as a trap for JUDY or was it completely unintentional? It seemed somewhat like he didn’t plan it, because... well, it didn’t turn out so well in the end. 

Is The Arm a puppet, same as BOB, or is he the ringleader? I mean, of the non-JUDY spirits. JUDY seems to be the greater-scope villain of the show. And what’s his morality? MIKE claims he’s the part of him touched by the devilish one that he had to remove, so is he truly evil? If so, why does he have a Black Lodge doppleganger? Is he just an asshole in both universes? Like people who are just jerks both in the regular Star Trek universe and the Mirror universe? 

The Arm has said that Laura (or at least a tulpa of Laura) is his cousin. So either BOB or JUDY is his sibling? If JUDY is the mother and BOB is the estranged brother, then Laura is both his cousin and his sister, which... ick. 

Why would MIKE create a tulpa of Diane made to serve DoppleCooper? He seemed to be on Coop’s side? Was it just so that he could get to Twin Peaks so he could be defeated? 

Does the original timeline still exist? And is Audrey in a Lodge (if she’s in one of the Lodges I think she’s probably in the Waiting Room) or in a mental hospital? 

Here’s a silly theory. If creamed corn is pure garmonbonzia, then cherry pie is the antithesis of that. It’s pure joy. And that’s why it saves Coop’s life in the end. 

But most of all..... when will the Dougie Jones/Janey-E Jones/Sonny Jim/Mitchum Brothers spinoff we so desperately need?????
