The trail spans approximately 65 kilometers, reaching an altitude of about 4200 meters at the summit. The trail is more long than difficult.

जानवर भी ईश्वर की अभिव्यक्ति है, हम ईश्वर की अभिव्यक्ति को अपनी रूढ़ी धारणाओं और नीच स्वार्थ के लिए अपमानित नहीं कर सकते। आज के समय में ईश्वर के नाम पर हो रहे पापाचार समाज की बड़ी समस्या बन गई है, इस पापाचार से मुक्ति की युक्ति हमें खोजनी पड़ेगी।

Gangotri to Gaumukh Trek

The Gangotri to Gaumukh trek is a sacred and scenic journey in the Indian state of Uttarakhand, tracing the source of the holy Ganges River. Beginning at Gangotri, a revered pilgrimage town at an altitude of 3,415 meters, the trek offers breathtaking views of the Himalayas and the Bhagirathi River. The trek covers about 18 kilometers, taking you through diverse landscapes—dense forests, alpine meadows, and glacier-moraines.

Gangotri itself holds immense spiritual significance, believed to be the spot where the Ganges descended from heaven after being released by Lord Shiva. From here, trekkers follow the trail along the Bhagirathi River, flanked by towering snow-capped peaks like Shivling, Thalay Sagar, and Meru.
