gonna start with gon

gon is a 6'10 killer whale [orca] who's a doctor and psychotherapist at the outskirts of inkopolis, he's 39 years old (later on turns 41) and is estimated to have started the job way back in his early 20's. he states he's just a respectable doctor, and an orca who happens to be a little bit strong. he has a special diet that keeps him brawl.

for his years in inkopolis, he's been mastering the inkling language, culture, and would soon progress into learning octarian. he believes the story between the inklings and octolings is rather one-sided and does what he can to help the octolings that come across his path; take mizuta ahato (dedf1sh) for example.

gon and mizuta are planned to have a father-daughter-like relationship in the fic i'm working on. they start off bumpy but progressively their road becomes 'smoother' over time. he helps her learn social skills, inklish, domestic struggles, words/advice to hold onto in life and even learn how to catch a good herd of fish (in reference to a one bonding moment where he takes her out to hunt with him in his boat overseas)

he has a muscular, large build but his clothes arent too big on mizuta (6''5 in the beginning, though due to their slouching problem they die down to 6''4) and lets them keep one of his shirts. he builds his own weapons and is quite a forward orca, almost being too harsh at times but he's very selfless.

for a while he thought he was the only one doing the research and giving the octolings a shoulder to lean on, but he was later proven wrong one night when he was having a late-night meal with mizuta during a splatfest, and they confessed about how they were able to escape and run away from the oppression of the octarian society from a song/melody they heard that night.

hard to choose cuz no matter what splatoon characters always have this charm to them that makes their flaws look beautiful but id probably change this guy's hands

What’s your favorite video game experience/experiences you’ve ever had?

one of them was in splatoon 1 (wii u) recently, about three - four weeks ago

i played as a squiffer in tower controls and i never had such sharp aiming before.

it was the best match ive ever played, hands down, did a quad easily smoother than a seal cub, literally no struggle with aiming on that single quad kill in that match. it was like 1 2 3 4 dawg i wish i couldve recorded it cuz it was my best moment in my history of fighting games so far i felt so happy that day

i have never played either of them, i have played 1 pokemon game in my life though it only lasted about an hour. i have vague memory of it since i didnt know what to do in that game

however, although im not that into pokemon, i really love snorlax and every content of him warms my heart

DEDLLIE HEADCANONS GO!!!!!!!

[1] callie steals ded's hoodies all the time (even before dating) that when she asks to borrow their black shirt for an outfit she's come up with & ded gave her this grumpy stare before giving in after callie promised to give them all back (she ended up keeping one/two)

[2] ded's hands are big and around the size of spyke's/similar to spyke's and has scary claws that can literally kill (if used enough strength) while callie's hand is generally smaller -- because of this, ded is cautious, sometimes even panicking over certain situations and callie always does her best to reassure them in times like that

[3] ded is 6''4 while callie is 5''7 (originally reached 6''5 at 18 but due to their awful slouching problem it died down to an inch) and sometimes people think callie's taller whenever she wears those heel-like shoes [something she does often] while hanging out with them but as soon as they stand up straight they tower over everyone

[4] dedf1sh is shy and callie's that one extrovert buddy that helps them open up to people

[5] the headcanon of dedf1sh feeling and remembering a lot of things again through callie and slowly experiencing more emotions and falling in love warms my heart the most

[6] although not much possible in my au i like to hc that they have a track called [#15 feelings] which has samples of bomb rush blush before they were sanitized

[7] both r deeply in love

[8] i can see them wearing kimonos if a marriage ever happens in a fanfic/artwork

[9] dedf1sh has a hard time expressing their love through words so they do it more with physical affection and other small things and whenever they say 'i love yu' callie just melts and becomes rlly happy for the rest of the day and has a hard time wiping away her smile

[10] dedf1sh is easily flustered and the first time callie kissed their cheek they just stood in the same place for hours with their mouth agape and the biggest blush

[11] two names: calf1sh and dedllie

[12] even tho ded's clothes are way too big for her she still finds them rlly comfortable and can often be seen wearing them on days shes off and even in public at times (for public she always finds a way to make them work on her; for example the 1 year anniversary outfit she wore)

[13] callie sometimes acts like an embarassing girlfriend to ded [ded becomes one too sometimes] in public (calling them fishy or another embarrassing nickname, kissing them too much on the face before they go to leave, tugging at their shirt/arm and playfully begging them to do/get something for her, bugging them to put on something cute) and marie still wonders how they havent snapped at this point and ded just replies with "i have" the scenario of how that played out is up to yur interpretation

[14] the pre-sanitization concept of ded and callie meeting/getting to know eachother in octo canyon is rlly cute but also tragic knowing what happens to dedf1sh and every special moment they have hits harder

[15] callie likes to be carried/feel secure and can jump in ded's arms in surprise and will make any excuse to be carried like "my legs hurt" "im feeling rlly tired" "ill let yu take over the tv when we get home" "i wont tell marie about yu eating her crabby cakes all the time" or nuzzle in their lap when theyre in the middle of trying to figure out a new song

[16] dedf1sh is heavier than callie so whenever theyre cuddling and callie has to move it feels like she has to move a mountain

[17] when ded's pissed off in a way thats not too serious and starts approaching/chasing after callie; callie doesnt try to act like shes scared at all and is more having the time of her life than anything and saying playful things like shes in danger or something or will run like hell in hopes of not getting tickled to death while giggling like an idiot

[18] despite ded's fears callie actually feels rlly safe and comfortable whenever theyre around and their claws make her feel protected

[19] whenever callie flirts dedf1sh gets rlly flustered and acts like a jellyfish for the whole day but when dedf1sh flirts callie finds it to be the most cheesiest thing in the world yet still gets flattered either way and giggles for an entire minute everytime she hears them. dedf1sh's voice is also pretty deep yet soft and callie finds it rlly relaxing and enjoys listening to them talk for hours

[20] dedllie are engaged sweethearts while pearlina/pearie are a married couple

[1] smokes weed, introduced dedf1sh to the real shit a few months after being brought to the surface

[2] makes fun of people for having no bitches; has no bitches

[3] relationship with marie is v v close (relationship up to interpretation) and they are roommates and agent 4 plays gta5 way too loud on the tv that marie sometimes unplugs the ps4

[4] does stupid shit with callie and has the time of her life with her and sees her as a really good friend

[5] squidbags in ranked occasionally, which is the cause of her bruises, not the fact that shes an agent

[6] always fails at grabbing a snack at night; makes too much noise. fortunately marie is a rather heavy sleeper but still has to dodge risks

[7] they’d do anything for a friend and is very loyal to the people they genuinely love; even risk their life.

[8] originally a good player in battles, they’ve grown much better after being introduced to the nss as agent 4 and are now seen competing in professional tournaments. they grew very proud of their rank and has a pretty strong grip, which improves their skill in aim.

[9] uses she/they pronouns and is ok with any gendered term

[10] is 5′’8 while marie is 5′’7 and she mocks her for it All The Fucking Time

[11] deez nuts jokes (agent 3 falls victim to them every time)

[12] is strong enough to stand a chance against agent 3 in a physical brawl/arm wrestle but would inevitably lose

[13] is a profreshional worker at grizzco and manages to collect a good amount of eggs for most days they work

[14] one of the top 500 players; dualies main

[15] hangs out often with agent 8 and rarely gets annoyed about helping them out and teaching them new shit (gives them excuse to dump info on them about the latest stuff their into and something cool that happened to them a day before). thinks theyre rlly sweet and have a lot of potential in the world

[16] is either a runaway (probably why she gets agent 8) or was raised as a farmer for most of their life before moving to inkopolis 

[17] to this day marie still cant believe that they dont know the squid sisters

[18] snores loud as fuck that sometimes shes thrown out the window at night just for others to have a peaceful sleep

[20] enjoys wearing her hero boots in the winter to keep warm and is a big fan of catchy, fun, hyped up or chill beat music
