01/13/2021 - just some plans for reclaiming my life in 2021

guess who is about two months into an emotional crisis. surprise, it’s me. break ups and family issues are difficult to deal with it turns out lol. so I am sharing some of the ways I'm going to try and get my life back together and make it even better than before. I don’t really expect this to resonate with anyone this is more to keep me accountable and track my goals. maybe I'll update this as I go idk?? anyway... 

things to do ✨for me ✨ aka things to help me feel in control and hopefully make me happier and mentally healthier

+ make a vision board for my future goals and ideal aesthetic

+ get my first tattoo!!

+ dye my hair for the first time

+  purge my closet and donate old clothes

+ buy some clothes that make me feel confident and comfortable in my body

+ get back into song writing

+ actually consistently journal lol

+ say yes to opportunities (especially with friends!)

03/01/2021 - a book review type thing 🕯🎼

The Duke and I by Julia Quinn - 3.5/5

hey lovely people - finally getting around to posting my first book journal page of the year! my thoughts are under the cut (they are also shown in the pictures)

My first romance novel! I found it very compelling after watching the series and i enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I found Daphne’s and simon’s love story- specifically the passion and yearning to continually draw me back into the boo (cause i’m a sucker for that lol) i found the sibling dynamics and the well timed wit to be very charming throughout the book as well.

this book is not without issues. particularly the blurred lines of the marital union (i will not give spoilers and i don’t want to upset anyone so that’s as in detail as I’ll go) and the lack of communication made me uncomfortable and angry with the book. but I digress, overall this was an enjoyable read and I think I will continue with the series and I would like to continue with the characters.

good morning/afternoon/night?? I have been having some very interesting dreams lately so I have started writing them down on the page opposite this spread. this is one of my favorite pages in my planner, mostly just because of appa! anyways I hope all who see this have sweet dreams and deep sleep!

01/06/2021 - my reading journal 2021

greetings beautiful people! one of my main resolutions for this new year is to read more books - specifically books from a variety of genres and authors! so I thought I would share my reading journal set up for 2021! this is my cover page (featuring zelda lol) and my book recs for this year. these books have been either personally recommended to me or suggested by some of the amazing people I follow online. currently I am reading Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller and The Duke and I by Julia Quinn. if you have any books you love please tell me I would love to check them out!

01/25/2021 - 🌿 a lovely rainy day 🌿

happy monday, wonderful people! today was rainy and pretty gloomy but look at these beautiful berries outside of my work building! today was my least busy class day so I planned out my week and took a nice cozy nap. hope you all have had a wonderful start to the week!
