"You know..." Xerneas hums, passing by Zacian in the living room. "I heard about you and Zamazenta, and I don't know if he would be interested, but I can try to apply some sort of title for him if you'd like. Similarly to Yveltal, even before anything had been completely addressed."

Zacian had been scrolling through his phone for gift ideas while Xerneas was talking, hardly seemingly like he was paying attention. But he was listening, Xerneas knew him well enough by now to know that for certain.

He smiles sheepishly, "it's just something to think about--"

"Just say Prince-Consort."

A stunned silence creeps in, and Zacian can feel the confused gaze he's getting. He sets his phone down to look expectantly up at Xerneas instead. "Is there some sort of problem?"

"Oh I-- No, far from it!" Xerneas hastily answers. "Just... you've never recognized your own title very much before this point, and leaping right to consort is quite a decision."

"Some of us don't care to beat around the bush, or make a big thing out of it."

Xerneas can feel the fact this is supposed to be a dig at him, but frankly he just finds himself agreeing. How many times had he wished he’d just turned the confession into a proposal? It’s admirable that Zacian doesn’t care to waste any further time. 

Though Zacian himself just seems a bit surprised that this doesn't get any sort of negative reaction from him, just an understanding nod. He’s not sure how he feels about that.

"In any case...” Xerneas clears his throat, “is this something Zamazenta would be okay with?"

"Ask him yourself, he'll be back in a second probably."

"Wow, this place is really easy to miss if you don't know where to look," Blanc spoke as he followed Dawn into the foggy trees. "I know that's entirely the point... but it's interesting to see in action."

The only locations he'd ever been to that came close to Sendoff Spring in terms of the foreboding atmosphere, were White Forest, and the Giant Chasm. Even then in such places it was...different compared to here, neither had quite the same feeling of looming death like Sendoff Spring had. Or the same sense of thousands of little eyes watching you from every corner, curious ghosts maybe? That’s the explanation he was going with for now.

With all that in mind a more normal person would’ve been unnerved as hell and had every right to be. But Blanc was indifferent as ever, White Forest might as well have prepared him for such places unintentionally; it made the place not quite home but familiar enough so that he wouldn’t freak out. For the best really as he didn’t want that sort of reaction when meeting Giratina, he knows better than to piss off a literal god.

...Which is what makes it so funny, when he wanders in further and does exactly that just by existing. Because Giratina isn't alone by her house, she's sitting with another dragon that Blanc is unfortunately at least somewhat familiar with.

"Kyurem?" He asks reflexively.

Never has someone looked more unhappy to see Blanc. "Aw hell."

this is going to sound super bad but usually i... don’t?? i’ll vent for a second to 3 or 4 ppl, maybe yell at a wall, but generally i just smoke a little weed, eat a snack, take a nap or bath!! being angry doesn’t suit me tbh and i find it just adds to the problem, so like water off a duck’s back i’ll let shit slide and focus on not winding up in a similar situation again! if it can be helped that is.

He was unfortunately well aware of the fact that this day would come for him eventually. He made his tone towards the godly goat very clear when he’d rescued Giratina from his tantrum. So it was only a matter of time until he’d decide to coax (command) Kyurem up to the Halls of Origin. 

Though frankly if he thought that Kyurem was going to scale those stairs he has another thing coming, and he can’t fly up there with his stupid little chicken wings either. Kyurem opts to do the exact opposite: get as far away from Sinnoh, and by extension Gira and the kids, as he possibly can. He doesn’t give a shit if Arceus tears a hole through the Giant Chasm, can’t get much worse than when Kyurem was tearing the place apart anyway.

He hopes he won’t even show up really, what reason would there be to come all the way out here to fuck with him? Boredom? Anger? Looking for someone to take out all that rage on?

Ha, he wasn’t going to make that easy for him even if he did show up.

Zacian has not a damn clue what he's doing. He actually thought that Zama's joke was cute, very on brand for him without a single doubt in his mind. But there was a...word choice in there, that he's pretty sure Zama was not aware that he did, and Zacian couldn't decide if he should point it out.

Apparently with not being able to decide, he ended up doing this impulsive maneuver. Is he...scaring Zama? He really can't read his expression to know exactly what's going through his mind at the moment, and Zacian doubts his mind is any more clear seeming to Zama. His felt clouded trying to figure out what he should do, especially now that he was apparently putting them in this position.

The easy answer would be to back off and brush it off for the impulse it was. The harder answer would be to just outright tell Zamazenta exactly what was in his mind.

He opts for a sort of... middle ground, in the end.

"Really just going to pretend you didn't just call me your boyfriend?" He does still give him a grin, to show that this is supposed to be more lighthearted. Wherever Zamazenta takes it from there, that's on him.

“But yeah, no, I don’t care. You can keep it if you want even.” Kira would just shrug, leaning against the counter. Yes, just be casual.
