Two to three months before the festival, skilled craftsmen start preparing beautiful clay idols of Lord Ganesha. Lord Ganesha is depicted in various positions in these sculptures. On Ganesh Chaturthi, these idols are brought home with great enthusiasm and are kept and worshiped at home for the next 10 days. Beautiful pandals are also made with huge idols of Ganesha at many places. Priest in each circle. The four main sacred rituals are performed- In the first phase, the utterance of the souls in the idols is done with the chanting of the holy mantras. Story of Ganesh Chaturthi Festival (Story of Ganesh Chaturthi)
According to the statement, before taking a bath, Maa Parvati produced a beautiful child from her scum and named it Ganesh. Then, making him his gatekeeper, went to bathe, ordering him to guard the door. After a while Lord Shiva came and wanted to enter the door, then Ganesh stopped him from going inside. Lord Shiva got angry on this and cut off Ganesh's head with his trident and went inside the door. When mother Parvati saw the severed head of son Ganesha, she became very angry. Then all the gods including Brahma, Vishnu praised him and pacified them and requested Bholenath to bring the child Ganesha alive. Mahamrityunjaya Rudra, accepting his request, revived him by attaching a one-yard severed head to Shri Ganesh's torso.

Why is it prohibited to see the moon on Ganesh Chaturthi Festival?
Ganesh Chaturthi Festival is considered an auspicious day. It is forbidden to see the moon on this date. According to Indian theology, almost all the Shukla Paksha Chaturthi, especially Bhadra Shukla Chaturthi, have been considered to be prohibited. Surely false stigma appears from philosophy. It is believed that on this day, Lord Sri Krishna was falsely accused of stealing "Suryakant Mani".According to legend, one day the moon was proud of its beauty. He insulted Ganesha. That is why Ganesha cursed that from today onwards you become black and whoever sees your face on this day will also be an object of stigma. That day was Bhadra Shukla Chaturthi. Moon immediately apologized. On this, Ganapati Ji said that my curse will be special to you only on Bhadra Shukla Chaturthi. If not on other Chaturthi, if moon sighting happens by mistake, then Siddhi Vinayak fast has been enacted to prevent it.
" सिंह:प्रसेनमवधीत् सिंहो जाम्बवता हत :।
सुकुमारक मा रोदीस्तव ह्येष स्यमन्तक :।। "
Although Ganesh Chaturthi Festival is celebrated on the Krishna Paksha and Shukla Paksha Chaturthi of every month and people observe the fast of Ganesh Ji, but grandly Ganesh Utsav and Siddhi Vinayak fast are observed on the Chaturthi of Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapad month. Jyotishacharya Deepak Pandey told that on this day Lord Ganesha was born in Swati Nakshatra in the medieval period. Therefore, Lord Ganesha is worshiped in the medieval period. Even if there is Bhadra in the medieval period, there is a law to worship at this time. When any power is incarnated in the universe, it is in the medieval period, whether it is night or day. That is why this day is also celebrated as the birth anniversary of Ganesha.
