Middle Man came out very nicely. I found myself having too much fun while play testing and it made the deadline come up a lot faster than anticipated. Regardless, with only a week to plan and build the game as well as learning modeling from scratch basically. My friends and I made a Very Silly Visual Novel for the yaoi gamejam 2024 : 3 Features looooooooots of my art as well as my friends' unparalleled writing. It's free, you can play it in the browser, might even work on your phone. who knows.

Wouldn't a night at the museum game just be the best. I don't mean five nights at Freddies I mean like. An rpg task based adventure game, where you have to navigate the museum, solve puzzles and interpersonal problems (between the exhibits) but mostly just explore!! Learn history!! I'm mad this doesn't exist now!

where do you get the images and visuals from that you dont make yourself? do you have a favourite game engine to work in?

i look for free photos online or use photos taken by me or people i know ʕ •ᴥ• ʔ i love photo manipulation, it doesn't always need to be a great photograph, sometimes it's fun to edit the most random thing into something interesting.

my favorite engines are construct, bitsy and twine.

Trying to focus in on EF2 but my loser brain keeps tossing me ideas for smaller scoped games. renpy fill-in-the-blanks mystery puzzlesolver about a disabled polycule. rpgmaker upgrading game about two brothers inheriting a house and discovering a wayward angel living in the attic. renpy 'raising sim' on stats and circumstances needed to find queer self-actualization. rpgmaker game that unlike the above isnt even in entropic floats universe, about being a member in the chosen hero's party only for the healer to one day kill him dead in front of your eyes.
