😱 Quarantine Asks 🧻

Are you staying home from school & work?

The entire mall where I work at the job I hate is closed until May 4th. My fingers are crossed that that date may be extended, as I had gotten my hours shredded right before quarantine started due to the fact that I hate being there and hate 99% of the customers, and I don't want to get any sort of talking to by a higher up.

Also, I sell scrubs, so my customers will be people that possibly deal with coronavirus patients daily, and it that is truly the case my dad will probably not let me into my home.

If you are staying home, whom is there with you?

Astro, Quixote, Frida, my folks. Usually we have a lot of crows and squirrels around, but currently we are trying to solve the mystery of if our neighbor had the local squirrels killed or if they're just off and about somewhere else.

Other house has Ron, Ron's dad, and his mother too. Butch's box of ashes is a poor replacement for the living body and goofy brain of my so very missed dog friend.

Event you were looking forward to that got cancelled?

I don't remember, but if I did, I am grateful that this pandemic has cancelled them.

Movies you’ve watched recently?

Magnolia, The Social Network, Lone Survivor, Napoleon Dynamite, Man Vs., Freaks, Boondock Saints, Velvet Buzzsaw, Fargo, Antrum, and probably twelve or so others. My dad has a movie on at all times it seems... We watched five films on my birthday.

Are you a homebody?

Yes, which is hard when you are bipolar and ready to do something idiotic at all times. That's why I stay at two places. I get to sleep. I'm fairly undisturbed. And they both have wifi and backyards!

What are you listening to?

My full playlist is always on shuffle. The last song to play was Caribou by The Pixies. I believe With_Teeth is in the CD player in my car that I occasionally use.

What are you reading?

ADHD makes that difficult, though there are a delicious set of words sent my way daily that I enjoy more than anything. I've had my copy of JTHM next to me most of the time, but that's nothing new.

What are you doing for self-care?

Taking my meds, organizing things that don't need it, spending at least a little time outside to observe the bugs and small flowers hidden from the view of most human sized creatures.

I didn't buy ice cream at the store today. I cannot decide it that was actually of benefit or possibly of detriment.....
