tip for other fields of mistria early access players: how to get legendary fish

When your fishing skill gets to level 30, you’ll unlock the ability to redeem the Legendary skill perk.

After this skill perk is redeemed, a notification will appear every day that meets the spawn conditions for the Legendary Fish (much like if any other event if taking place). This goes away once you’ve caught the fish.

There is one Legendary Fish that spawns in every season at this point in time.

- SPRING: breezy days, in the pond, small shadow

- SUMMER: stormy days, in the river, medium shadow

- FALL: windy days, in the river, small shadow

- WINTER: snowy days, in the ocean, medium shadow

Legendary insects have no special requirements to my knowledge. There is one unique Legendary insect per season and one that can appear in every season except Winter. (edit) The legendary Fall insect only appears in early morning.

That's right: everyone's favorite (ok, maybe not everyone's) internet comic on Tumblr is back, and cooler than ever! This time, I find myself navigating a sinister mansion, trying to figure out the secrets behind it's missing owners. That's right, it's Resident Evil!

After hearing about how this game is revolutionary from basically every YouTube gaming person ever, I knew I had to check it out. I've never really played horror games before (except that one time I tried FNAF on a friend's phone in highschool), so I was in for a real shock with how this game handles.

Local man falls into otaku hell once again

In anticipation of my declining mental health, I have picked up Girl's Frontline once again. This is surely a very good decision.

I never got very far on my original account but I was always very concious of the game since I actually did cover art/character renders for a fanmade playbook back in late highschool and early college. I've always been a big gunslinger girl fan, I thought people making their own stories was really nice, so why not? I can't say I had a good time since the community was toxic... I strayed away due to the incredibly rude attitudes I came across. But here I am, crawling back, because Idolmaster has died and I'm too scared to start arknights and I need to play a funny anime gatcha game or I'll DIE!

I know you eventually get most all the girls in the game at some point, but these are my favorites. Besides the gunslinger girls themselves, of course.

I'm wary about taking advice since I don't really like the community but I still want to recieve advice since the game has a lot of ins and outs. For now, I'll just look to online guides. I'll use this like a game diary until I'm tired of it, but I hope I stick with it for a long while!

i genuinely love that the hunger games is in katniss’s pov bc shes the one character that has no clue about whats going on, clearly does not want to be there, and shes just walking through life in a permanent state of utter confusion. and idk i really relate to that.

I have been deeply obsessed with Fields of Mistria since it launched and I just entered my Second Year on my farm, so I decided to compile a list of some things that I like about this game a lot so far.

You can jump. Over fences. There aren't gates (yet?), but you can jump and this isn't a thing you can do in any farming game. There's even a jump attack that you can unlock. It rocks.

Townsfolk will tell you what they like and what other townsfolk like. They may even give you the recipe for their favorite thing.

You can never plant a seed in the wrong season on accident. And if you plant a seed in the wrong place, you can dig it up before you water it to put it where you meant to have it.

You can make all your tools FOR FREE if you have the materials and doing that has the chance to give them power ups (once you've unlocked that skill)

NOT ONLY TOOLS BUT ARMOR ALSO. AND ARMOR DOESN'T TAKE UP INVENTORY SPACE IF YOU'RE WEARING IT.

You can decorate on half-squares. Get into it.

The relationships you make with townsfolk and the heart scenes that you have might just change things about the town itself. Highlighting Ryis for this one specifically.

The whole premise of the game is assisting a town after a disaster and providing disaster relief while also growing affection for each of the characters and the town as a whole. You do big projects to help the town and the town improves and provides you, the player, with more resources and activities to do.

The mines have different biomes and enemies and resources and COSMETICS that you can collect. There's really no shortage of things to collect here.

All the furniture sets play together in a really nice way where you are able to mix and match the looks you like. They're definite sets of furniture and some of them even have their own unique storage chests.

There's so much deep lore that I'm so excited about. It almost feels like by doing what there is of Early Access, I am now waiting for the next chapter to drop so I can learn more about this world and characters.

Inventory stacks limit at 999?! For everything?? I’ve never had a stack that big! (edited)

Characters outfits change every season.

You can always tell where villagers are on the map

Since Mistria is MAGICAL you can also grow crops in the winter.

That dragon is going to be romanceable. If the rumors are true, we may even have TWO romanceable dragons.

All the characters are interesting on their own and have relationships with each other beyond you. They are always having different conversations and talking about different stuff that they do and that other characters do and that YOU DO. I love them all. No flops.

I'm really hoping for more depth in the passage of time as the game develops. I would love to see either 1) a reason for time to be at a standstill in Mistria so it makes sense that the child characters are not aging as you spend multiple years in town or 2) time to actually progress and for characters to get older, especially as marriage and children come into the picture. I know this is a stretch and not everyone wants something like that... but I really liked it in A Wonderful Life as a concept and I think it would be neat here.

I was sure having a tough time with this game. Not only had I never played a horror game before, but I also chose to play this game as if it were the year it originally released. That means no walkthroughs, no online guides, no reading the wiki. I am my only guide through this spooky mansion.

Getting my ass handed to me on the frontline

The goal: get through the story as fast as possible.

The reality: Scarecrow, what the heck!

I managed to blow through the first set of levels no problem and I completed the emergency mode without issue. But at the end of the second set, it got tricky. I tried relying in support eschalons to murder Scarecrow for me but before I knew it, I was surrounded ^^" I walked into that one.

My focus at the moment has been powering up my current main eschalon while I send the rest out on logistics. I like the group, they formation buffs hooked together nicely, but the firepower just isn't enough. Raising up an MG will take a lot of resources. Theres so much to keep track of.... Too many girls with too many tricks to them. I'll just stick to something simple like this for a while.

Oh, I didnt realize there were missions for getting combat reports and enhancement capsules? The game didnt notify me of it. I should've been grinding away there. For now I'll focus in leveling up the girls and feed them lots of fodder. March on, girlies...

Also: I adopted a cat. Very awesome. I have no idea what do with it. But cat is good.

something positive about the witcher 4 trailer that i’ve not seen anyone mention, maybe because it’s cdpr so it’s already to be expected that the visual design will be peak…

and maybe because i need an eyewash station after all that netflix has thrown at us…

but it felt great to see new witcher visuals with very present slavic design and motifs, the peasant girl’s dress and her crown, the atmosphere and setting.

again, maybe the bar is low because of netflix, this is just cdpr doing what they did great in witcher 3, but it’s satisfying to see the witcher retain a strong visual style and identity :p obviously they would be insane to change directions now, but it’s also not guaranteed (witcher 2 famously being more generic fantasy inspired, design-wise)

i’m just happy i finally got the “oooh, witcher” feeling when i saw it, which hasn’t happened in a while i guess
