I took liberties with the 1koma’s title to make it punchier. The original title’s literal translation is more along the lines of “very little money”. I didn’t like the sound of it, so I was considering “just a couple of pennies” instead, but this wouldn’t really fit with RK’s general Japanese setting. In the end, I opted for the slang “peanuts” instead. Like, the kind of peanuts you’d hear in the expression “working for peanuts”.

Looks like you're not scheming anything and are genuinely having fun today. Jigen: It'd be nice if Kushiro behaved now that he's a year older, but… that might be asking for too much.

Kyosuke: Tch, I ain't gonna wish that guy a happy birthday! Narushi: Today is Kushiro's birthday? … There is nothing I would go out of my way to tell a gambler. TL Notes

The Japanese words for "stock market" (株) and "turnip" (カブ) are read the same way (kabu). Saigo misunderstood Rui talking about stocks as him wanting turnips as his birthday present.

TL Notes

RTA stands for "Real Time Attack" and is a speedrun term to refer to speedruns done from start to finish in real-time without the use of assisting tools. They're generally done in one gaming session using timers external to the in-game timer. So… yeah, basically, Rui's calling Jo a dating speedrunner.

I believe Uryu and Taiten's lines are meant to be direct responses to each other, hence why I worded Taiten's line like this.
