I've been able to secure an office I can set up shop in for now. There's spare laboratory equipment in the cupboards, the tables. Plenty of spare data here-- it's hard to come by, for some reason. I didn't think Urbanshade would have had the chance to sweep through the lock down. Something else must be collecting the research.

There has to be something about my condition somewhere... All of my work had been abducted before I was convicted as a traitor. Who knew wanting to save someone's life would land me so much deep water?-- pardon the pun, heh... I just... I just need to find where they would have put it. I can't let anyone down here know who I am.

I've met some entities. The exchanges weren't unpleasant, surprisingly. They're more curious than anything. Maybe suspicious.

There was a Z-V06 at my door earlier. A strange one, definitely looked different than the rest, but it poses no harm. It has a very shy demeanor, and it can speak. I had no idea Z-V06 instances could take other forms or possess language.

Z-317 also swam by. We had a nice chat... Oh, no no, we had more than a nice chat. It was strange, and new, and I'll have to document the experience more concisely later. But we had conversed. There's so much I didn't know about it. It can communicate using a host's brainwaves and the host's prior established understanding, knowledge, and memory in order to convey its own ideas across. Isn't that amazing?

*heavy thumping sounds can be heard, likely Z-909's tail wagging carelessly and hitting the floor and furniture behind her*

Just... just imagine what the world could achieve if we could communicate like this? The inherent understanding and feeling seen, and knowing how to communicate despite language barriers and cultures. ...I had no idea Z-317 was even sapient... I want to meet it again. As dangerous as that is I mean-- c'mon! It can melt my brain through eye contact alone. ...But... well, it's not like I have much to live for now, so I might as well go out knowing as much as I can.

There is a strange entity who calls herself Rose. She seems nice. Too nice. I am not sure how to feel of her. But she seems to run a shop of sorts. It's fascinating to note that the entities down here, Z-Class and EXR-P alike, seem to be forming their own economic culture.

I've met an EXR-P that seems to be in a similar boat as I am, experimented on and tossed away. I'd like to befriend her, or study her. I'll take what I can get.

And I've met another who has shared food with me. Ellie, I think her name was. I don't understand why people err on the side of kindness down here when the environment and situation encourages non-altruistic behavior. I hypothesize this kindness as a defense mechanism, one that offers some vague assurance of a weak sense of safety in a temporary partnership with the more sentient Z-Class. It's starting to feel more like an exploit.

There is also an art AI present in the system of the Blacksite itself. Calls itself pAInter. I didn't think Urbanshade was the fancy art gallery type. I wonder why it's here, and how much it can see, and hear, and do.... It's also surprisingly intelligent for something meant to make generative art. It had shown me one of its pieces and... I can't lie, I was floored. It reminded me when I used to have time to do hobbies that I loved. ...Hm. Well, I suppose I have time now.

Too much time.... *sighs*

A Man From Nashville is Charged Because Of 86 Grams Of Meth.

A man from South Nashville was arrested because of 86 grams of meth found after the drug bust operation. This man is named Benjamin Brown, who was charged with multiple felony drug counts after copious amounts of drugs were found in his house. Brown was already facing an eviction notice from his Linbar Drive home when the police found 86 grams of meth, an ounce of weed, and three ounces of psychedelic needles at home, so he is currently being held and on bond for $25,000. We the People: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow exhibition February 2 through April 16, 2023 

The Ontario Museum of History & Art and guest curators Riea Owens and Dr. Patricia Jessup-Woodlin invite you to our upcoming exhibition, We the People: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow, running from Thursday, February 2, to Sunday, April 16, 2023. The Preamble states, "We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America." From an open call, 61 artists were selected and will be on view in three of the Museum’s galleries. The artworks on view question and interpret the Preamble's complexities and contradictions.

We the People: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow brought an overwhelming number of excellent submissions that made the selection process challenging for the guest curators. The artworks will move the audience through a multitude of emotions as they consider such wide ranging topics as the racial divide, social injustice, voter suppression, environmental concerns, women's rights, immigration reform, and more.

This is an excellent opportunity for the museum audience to view a vast diversity of art and artists representative of We the People, said guest curator Dr. Patricia Jessup-Woodlin. This exhibit combines diverse artistic approaches, including site-specific installations, multimedia works, and traditional media such as painting, sculpture, printmaking, and collage, to challenge and engage the viewer on these political issues. Through the power of art, the exhibition hopes to inspire empathy, understanding, and a sense of shared purpose among its audience as we work together to create a more just and equitable society for all. The community is invited to the artist reception on Saturday, February 18, from 6 PM to 9 PM. Also, join us for a moderated conversation on March 4, 2023, from 2 PM to 4 PM, with guest curators Riea Owens and Dr. Patricia Jessup-Woodlin, and artists featured in We the People. The discussion will focus on artistic practices and perspectives about the Preamble’s phrase “We the People.” The Museum’s programs are held on-site and are free to the public. Cora Marshall, born in Washington, DC, is an artist and arts educator. She received her B.F.A. from Howard University, Master of Science in Education from Bank Street College of Education with Parsons School of Design, and her doctorate in art from New York University. Dr. Marshall, Professor of Art Emeritus, served as chairperson of the Department of Art at Central Connecticut State University from 2006-2012.

Marshall has exhibited both internationally and nationally including National Conference of Artists: Kumasi, Ghana; US Embassy, Khartoum, Sudan; A.I.R. Gallery NYC; Skylight Restoration Gallery in Brooklyn; Hammonds House Gallery in Atlanta; Pittsburgh Center for the Arts; Brown University, RI, Dr. Carter G. Woodson African American Museum; the Morean Art Center, Studio@620, Gallerie 909, Creative Pinellas Gallery, and many other venues. She is the recipient of numerous awards and grants, including the ACT II 2019 grant from Pinellas Community Foundation. Through art, Cora Marshall explores ideas of self, home, and community. Her work is almost always figurative and often mixed media. She is intrigued with layers, textures, and the spiritual side of art. As an artist and art educator for over many years, the impulse to create is part of who she is. Living at the water’s edge on Boca Ciega Bay restores her soul daily and provides a tranquil rhythm in her life that allows her to touch, reflect, and tap into her creative self.

The Villa Kullen

This house is inspired by a real Swedish house in the Stockholm archipelago, the Villa Kullen. This house is said to have inspired the Swedish author Astrid Lindgren to the villa of Pippi Longstocking, if you are familiar with her childrens’ books. No cc.

I tried my very best to make it look like the real house in every way, but the Sims has some limitations when it comes to building. Therefore some of the rooms are bigger (or smaller) than in the real house and I had to move the bathroom on the first floor to the other side of the hallway. Likewise, there are no gingerbread roof trims and such in the game like there are on the real villa, but Schnuck made a very good Youtube-tutorial on how to make very nice roof trims with the use of other objects that I’ve used, link here. Due to the characteristics of the lot, I also had to make some changes to where I put the patio. But on the whole I am very pleased with the look of the house and I think it corresponds quit well with the real villa.

When it comes to furnishing, I have done my best with what there is in the game, without any cc. I had to make some compromises, and since the real villa was furnished sparsly in the available pics online, my version is too. Feel free to change it however you like in your own game! Since I used no cc, I’v put fireplaces in every room where there should be a tiled stove (all except the livingroom). If you don’t mind cc, you can replace them with very nice looking and typical Swedish tiled stoves made by Lisen801, found here at @sanoysims​​ (since I'm not the creator I cannot guarantee they work).
