SAMSUNG GALAXY S10 DESIGN What was the most striking design feature of the Samsung Galaxy S10? Most of them said that it was the punch-hole camera. This is not to suggest that all these people love the cutout. Regardless of your position, the punch hole is Samsung's solution to fitting a selfie cam on an all-screen flagship smartphone. Samsung has done it. Although they may have gone too far with Infinity-O names, we enjoy the 'Infinity" part of the Galaxy S10's screen. It has the largest display you can find in a compact phone. This has left enough room to fit a standard earpiece on top - no piezo trickery. The proximity and ambient light sensors were moved under the display to the left and slightly lower of the camera. The phone measures 149.9x70.4x7.8mm - 6.3mm taller. Despite its compactness, one major problem with the S10 is its power button placement. It is too high if you are a right-handed user and done where your thumb would naturally be. For left-handers, it's even more challenging to reach. BUILD QUALITY Samsung Galaxy S10 controls are laid out in familiar ways, with the volume rocker on the left and the Bixby key to the right. You'll find the standard stuff on Samsung phones of recent years: a USB-C port at the bottom, a headphone jack on one side, and a loudspeaker/microphone on the other. A mic pinhole at the top and a card slot that will accept a single SIM version of the phone and a nano SIM.
Dual SIM versions have the second slot split between a microSD and a nano SIM - the hybrid slot variety. The Samsung Galaxy S10 is made from aluminum. It is polished to a shine with a pale tint towards the back. S10 is IP68-rated and has Gorilla Glass 5 (GG6 on display). The Samsung Galaxy S10's back has the same camera/flash/sensor array as the S10+ but with a shared window. Considering the amount of stuff inside, it is a great look - three cameras and an LED flash, SpO2 sensors, heart rate, and SpO2 sensors. Samsung Galaxy S10's minimalist design of the back is made possible by the fact that a fingerprint reader doesn't have to be inserted there. Instead, it's located on the front, under the display. The fingerprint version is ultrasonic. This emits high-frequency sound waves through the display layer and creates a 3D map at your fingertips. DISPLAY Samsung's first Dynamic MOLED displays are featured on the Samsung Galaxy S10 smartphones. It's a Super AMOLED display, but it's HDR-focused. These Galaxies are the first smartphones that support HDR10+. However, the S10's a 6.1-inch panel. The resolution and aspect ratio remains the same: 1440x3040px with a 19-inch aspect. A smaller screen has a higher density than one with the same number of pixels - the S10's display is 550ppi. The screen on the S10 has a brighter display. The brightness was manually adjusted. If left on auto, it can reach 820nits in direct sunlight. This is one of the most impressive readings we have in modern times. An AMOLED screen will be able to increase its brightness as the white area becomes smaller due to the technology. AMOLED screen maximum brightness measurements should always be clarified. Samsung's claims of 1200nits maximum brightness are plausible. However, the measurement would be taken under different conditions (with a smaller APL) and redesigned the handling of colors, which has remained relatively unchanged over generations of Galaxies. You now have two options in the menu - Vivid or default Natural. Natural is tuned to the sRGB colorspace. SAMSUNG GALAXY S10 SOFTWARE Samsung has a new user interface for the Galaxy S10 family. Over the years, we've seen the controversial TouchWiz evolve into Grace and become simply Samsung UX. One UI is the latest ira. We are familiar with it; from Pie updates to the S9/Not9, the S10s were the first phones to ship it. Its round buttons and menus, single-handed use mind, and colorful icons distinguish it. You have an Always-on display. However, with One UI, it can be set to not-so always-on. It can be kept on, as you already know. They are the same clock faces as those on the S9. You can assign any app to the lock screen with the standard camera and dialer shortcuts. The notification cards, introduced with Nougat and still available on all droids, have been removed from One UI in their default state. Instead, you get just the icons grouped beside a clock. Double-tapping them brings down the notification shade, where the familiar cards are. You can change to the classic view by going into settings. USER INTERFACE If fingerprint unlocks have been enabled, you will also see the fingerprint reader icon. Face Unlock will turn on, and the camera's outline will light up to indicate it is looking for your mug. The Iris recognition feature is gone. There's no space for an IR emitter or an additional camera. Although the setup process can be slow and requires many more taps, it is generally reasonable. It should theorem better recognition later. Samsung promised a software upgrade to improve the fingerprint reader's performance significantly. Some users reported that the update had already arrived. A secure folder keeps your files, memos, and apps safe from prying eyes. The game launcher organizes all your games and ensures your sessions are uninterrupted. Bixby, the assistant no one requested, can now be assigned a button to launch an app or perform a series of actions. Bixby can be launched with a single click, while the app can be run with a double tap.
You cannot disable Bixby altogether. We appreciate the changes. SAMSUNG GALAXY S10 PERFORMANCE Samsung's new S10 lineup features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset or Samsung's Exynos 9920 chipset, depending on which market. Exynos is a common sight in our area, as is our S10 unit. The 8nm chip's CPU has a 2+2+4 arrangement. It includes two large Mongoose cores running at 2.7 GHz and two Cortex A75 cores at 2.4 GHz. Four Cortex A55 cores running at 1.9 GHz for more demanding applications. Mali-G76MP12 is the GPU. The S10+ can only be purchased with 8GB or 12GB RAM. However, the S10+ comes with 8GB. CAMERA Samsung added a telephoto module to the back of the Galaxy S10, allowing for a versatile and complete triple setup. Ultra wide-angle cameras have a view field of 123 degrees. This translates into a focal length of 12mm in 35mm film terms. It's extensive, to put it bluntly. It has an aperture of f/2.2, and the focus is fixed. There's no autofocus. The 16MP sensor is behind the lens, and the Samsung Galaxy S10 produces 16MP images as it should. Two cameras were left over from the Note9 and S9+. The primary module has a 12MP sensor with 1.4um pixels with dual phase detect autofocus. The front has a dual aperture lens that can switch between f/1.5 for darker situations and f/2.4 to improve sharpness in bright light. It has a focal length of 26mm on a full-frame camera with a 77-degree field. Stabilization is available. Samsung Galaxy S10 only has the primary 10MP selfie camera. Although the primary cam is listed as 10MP, it's not true. It does capture 10MP stills at a 4x3 aspect of 3648x2736px, but images would be 3968x2232px if you switched to a 16x9 aspect. The sensor can capture images of at least 3968x2736px, which would be 10.85MP. The long side of the sensor is 3968px, which is sufficient for 4K video (3840x2160px), but 3648px is not. VIDEO The Samsung Galaxy S10 video camera is competent and offers 2160p video at 60fps or 30fps, HDR10+ capture, and 960fps slow-motion recording at 720p. There's also 1080p at 30fps or 60fps. The H.264 codec captures 4K@60fps videos at 72Mbps bitrate. The 4K@30fps – 48Mbps, 1080p@60fps – 28Mbps, and 1080p@30fps – 14Mbps. These numbers can be lowered by H.265, which is also available. HDR10+ footage can be viewed in H.265 with a bitrate of 54Mbps. Stereo audio at 256Kbps bitrate is used for the audio. SOUND The stereo speaker system on the Samsung Galaxy S10 comprises the main loudspeaker at the bottom and the earpiece. Earpieces are usually located on the front. Landscape mode assigns each speaker the channel it is assigned to, while portrait uses the same channel. The dedicated bottom speaker is louder, and there is no way around it. Surprisingly, the Samsung Galaxy S10 produced more decibels than the S10+. The only effect of headphones is a slight increase in stereo crosstalk. Both cases had a solid sound, with loudness well above the average. Everyone else should be happy with both. SAMSUNG GALAXY S10 BATTERY The Samsung Galaxy S10's 3,400mAh battery is a significant 700mAh improvement over the Plus. This is still a significant amount. In WiFi, web browsing tests took 10 hours, and video playback took only a few minutes less than the S10+. Each figure was approximately 2 hours shorter than the S10+. The S10 could not reach the Plus's 24-hour voice calling result, ending at 21:19h. The average Endurance rating is 79 hours, 91h for the S10+. The S10 scores are comparable to those of the other phones: almost identical web browsing life expectancy and a 15-20% advantage in video playback. Samsung's Adaptive fast charger is used to recharge the battery after it has been fully charged. This charger has been in use since the Galaxy S5 was introduced. Its rating is 9V/1.67A or 5V/2A, so it can only produce 15W. The good news is that things don't look so bad after all. A 30-minute charge from your flat will bring you to 48%, while a full charge will take 1:31h.
The Galaxy S10 can be charged wirelessly and supports Samsung's Fast Wireless Charging 2.0. This is Qi-based. Although we didn't have a similar charger, the 9W Samsung Fast Chargers gave us results of around 20% for 30 minutes and 3-4 hours for total charges. The Samsung Galaxy S10 can be charged wirelessly and can charge other devices as well. This feature is called Wireless PowerShare. The toggle allows you to turn it on in the quick toggles. If there is no charge, it will shut off. The best part is that your Samsung Galaxy S10 can charge with a cable while charging a second device wirelessly. This is a great way to charge two devices simultaneously while traveling light with only one adaptor and cable. OUR OPINION As a replacement for S9, the Samsung Galaxy S10 is a great choice. Two more cameras at the back and one on the front seem enough. It's not as definitive if you are coming from the S9+. The PlLasthad b, the Plusetter battery life, and t lack an ultra-wide cam. The Samsung Galaxy S10 is the phone we had hoped it would be. We have been working hard for years to refine the phone to the point where significant changes are impossible. However, it is an incremental upgrade that's more important and easy to recommend. Overall The Samsung S10 Price in Bangladesh is good enough.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Specifications
Samsung can take credit to trigger interest in a big phone. The original Galaxy Note (Review) with a 5.3-inch screen is filled with skeptics and slightly ridicule at first, but with current standards, it seems almost tiny. The problem for Samsung is with almost all phones (including itself) pushing what boundaries can be held by the bag, what distinguishes the Galaxy Note line?
Tumblr media
The new Galaxy Note 9 has many hardware and the same camera as the Galaxy S9 Plus. The main thing that sets the Galaxy Note 9 apart is a pen pen, which has now added Bluetooth connectivity and can be used as a single Bluetooth remote control.
The experience of Samsung UI is very customizable but feels smooth and natural to use, in several wise ways to use SP. This phone is a bit too big and heavy, but has a 6.4-inch large screen with a curved edge and a 4000mAh battery that can last up to two days. The camera is very good, and the Samsung application gives you a lot to play. If you want to spend this much money and can live with bulk, Galaxy Note 9 provides an upscale experience.
Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is an IP68 certified Android smartphone that functions on the Android 8.1 operating system and is powered by Octa-Core (2.7 GHz, Quad Core, M3 Mongoose + 1.7 GHz, Quad Core, Cortex A55) with 6 GB of RAM. There is a unique fingerprint scanner on the back of the cellphone and the iris scanner on the front for security.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 has a strong 4000 mAh Li-Ion battery with 128 GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 512 GB. So, now you can enjoy diving parties or underwater pools and take fun pictures without worrying.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Rumors and News: Release Date, Cameras, Pricing, and More
Samsung's current flagship lineup includes the Galaxy S20 phones, the stylus-enhanced Note 20 devices, and the surprise midrange Galaxy S20 FE. But a new year is upon us, which means smartphone refreshes. Here's what Samsung has up its sleeve for 2021, according to reports.
How Many Galaxy S21 Models Will Be Announced?
Samsung has remained mum on its next-gen flagships, but a regulatory filing in Brazil may hold some clues. A document found in the Agência Nacional de Telecommunicações database appears to show that Samsung will release three phones in the near future. Though they're listed by model number, the phones will likely be called the Samsung Galaxy S21, Samsung Galaxy S21+, and Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra.
The Galaxy S21 has been completely redesigned, but even if you're a fan of the Samsung Galaxy S20's design, there's a lot to love in the changes. The Galaxy S21 and S21+ will reportedly have a flat display and plastic body with an aluminum frame, part of which will wrap around the top of the phone to house the camera module.
The Galaxy S21 Ultra sports a curved display and glass body. It has the same camera module design as its less expensive counterparts, though that module may be slightly larger to accommodate the extra camera sensors.
The Galaxy S21 trio will also have matte displays and several color options for the housing. Android Police reports the Galaxy S21 will be available in violet, pink, gray, and white. Expect to see the S21+ in black, violet, and silver and the S21 Ultra in black and silver.
What Hardware Does the Galaxy S21 Have?
Each year, Samsung packs its Galaxy S series phones with top-of-the-line hardware, and this year will be no different.
The Galaxy S20 will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset in the US. Europe and the majority of the globe will likely get the S21 with Samsung's Exynos 2100 SoC.
On paper, Qualcomm's latest flagship chipset looks similar to its predecessor, but there are some significant changes. It's Qualcomm's first 5nm chipset, which will greatly improve efficiency over previous 7nm chipsets such as the Snapdragon 865.
The Snapdragon 888 is also Qualcomm's first flagship processor with three different types of core. It features a Cortex-X1 CPU high-performance core, along with three Cortex-A78 cores and four Cortex-A55 cores. This core configuration, along with updated machine learning processors, should make the Snapdragon 888 the most powerful and energy-efficient Intel chipset to date.
Details are scarce on storage and RAM configurations, but we can make some predictions based on specs from Samsung's past flagships and its current manufacturing schedule.
We believe the Samsung Galaxy S21 will be available in two different storage configurations. Samsung will offer an entry-level model with 128GB of storage (with the option to upgrade to 256GB) and 12GB of RAM.
You'll likely have three options when it comes to the Galaxy S21+: a 128GB/12GB base model, along with 256GB/12GB and 512GB/12GB upgrades.
The Galaxy S21 Ultra will be the most powerful of the bunch. It will be available in 128GB/16GB and 512GB/16GB configurations.
Again, these are just predictions based on Samsung's manufacturing processes and past Galaxy S models. Samsung will likely want some parity between models, and right now it is manufacturing UFS 3.1 storage for flagships in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB configurations.
For RAM, the tech giant is currently manufacturing 12GB and 16GB, 10nm-process LPDDR5 RAM with peak transfer rates of 5,500Mb/s. There's a chance it may offer an 8GB LPDDR4X RAM (4,266Mb/s) on its entry-level Galaxy S21, but that would result in significantly reduced performance and energy efficiency—two essentials for 5G phones.
A slew of FCC documents also provide a little more detail about the S21 lineup. All three phones will support multi-band 5G. Bluetooth 5.1 will be on board as will NFC.
Not much will change in terms of battery capacity for the Galaxy S21 series. The Galaxy S21 will reportedly sport a 4,000mAh battery, and the S21 Ultra will reportedly have a 5,000mAh battery—the same as their predecessors. The S21+ is likely to get a slight bump to 4,800mAh from the 4,500mAh battery found on the current S20+.
Samsung teased Apple for not shipping a power adapter with its iPhone 12 models, but now appears poised to follow suit. A Brazilian regulatory filing states the phones will not be marketed with power supplies or headphones. The same filing suggests Samsung will sell a 25W adapter for fast charging.  All three phones will have wireless charging and wireless powershare.
How Big Is the Samsung Galaxy S21's Screen?
For years, Samsung has relied on gorgeous AMOLED displays for its Galaxy S flagships. The upcoming Galaxy S21 models, however, will reportedly use a different display technology, according to Android Police, which released extensive details about the phones in November, and has a pretty solid track record with leaks.
Reportedly, the Samsung Galaxy S21 and S21+ will sport flat FHD+ LTPS displays with 120Hz refresh rates. The S20's display will be 6.2 inches on the diagonal, while the S21+ will have a 6.7-inch screen. We believe these phones will use an LTPS-OLED process as opposed to traditional LTPS LCDs, since Samsung has long used AMOLED panels in most of its flagships.
The S21 Ultra will have the largest display at 6.8 inches. It's also the only phone in the bunch to have the curved WQHD+ LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate, which was introduced on the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.
In addition to the updated displays, there are a few other screen-related treats reportedly on board. According to Twitter leaker Ice Universe, the S21 trio will have an improved in-display fingerprint sensor that's both larger and faster; this may be Qualcomm's 3D Sonic Max sensor, though it has yet to be confirmed.
Finally, it looks like the S21 Ultra will support Samsung's S Pen, though it will not have a built-in place to store it. Phone Arena reports Samsung will offer the S Pen as a separate SKU along with different cases for storage.
How Many Cameras Does the Galaxy 21 Have?
Samsung's Galaxy flagships have long been known for having some of the best smartphone cameras on the market, and the S21 lineup looks like it will continue the tradition.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 and S21+ are rumored to have a triple camera module with 12MP primary and ultrawide lenses. There's also a 64MP telephoto lens on board.
The S20 Ultra will pack the most sophisticated camera stack of the bunch. It will likely have an improved 108MP primary lens along with a 12MP ultrawide lens. The primary lens is reportedly Samsung's new ISOCELL M3 sensor, which has better light sensitivity for low-light photos. There are also two 10MP sensors in the mix, capable of 3x and 10x optical zoom, respectively. Laser autofocus is also on board—an essential addition since the Galaxy S20 Ultra had significant problems with image pulsing and focus lock that were never fully corrected.
The other major change this year is the actual camera stack design. Instead of the big bump found on the Galaxy S20 models, the new Galaxy S21 smartphones will be almost flush with the body of the phone.
How Much Does the Samsung Galaxy S21 Cost?
When Samsung announced its Galaxy S20 series in early 2020, the world was a very different place. Though flagship demand was already sagging, Samsung launched its most expensive phones to date. It positioned the Galaxy S series as its ultra-premium brand while expanding its Galaxy A portfolio for more budget and midrange options.
With the Galaxy S21 trio, it appears Samsung plans to pull on the reins a bit. According to Korean tech site SamMobile, all three phones will be less expensive than their predecessors. The Galaxy S21 will reportedly retail for $849 to $899, while the Galaxy S21+ will hit store shelves with a $1,049 to $1,099 price tag. The S21 Ultra will reportedly start at $1,249.
It's worth noting that all the pricing rumors come from a single source. SamMobile also states these figures are merely under consideration by Samsung. Long story short: take these prices with a grain of salt.
When Is the Samsung Galaxy S21 Coming Out?
For the past several years, Samsung has announced its Galaxy flagships in February. This year, it appears we may be in for an early surprise.
After speaking with Samsung's mobile experience store in India, Android Authority reports that the Galaxy S21 trio will be announced globally on Jan. 14. The store is already accepting preorders for the next-gen flagship, which will reportedly be available on Jan. 29.
Of course, nothing is set in stone yet, though we're fairly confident the announcement date is correct. There's a chance that Samsung may stagger release by region, but we'd still expect to see Galaxy S21 models on sale in the US within a few weeks after the company's announcement.
If you can't wait until January and need a Samsung phone right now, it's worth taking a look at Samsung's best-selling Galaxy S20 FE. If you're looking for top-of-the-line hardware, here's how to choose among the S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra.

Introduction
Navigating Samsung’s sprawling device lineup in 2020 is no easy task. The Korean giant is hardly the root of the problem but is still part of the trend. Through a combination of factors and processes, we currently have a potent smartphone market where both model volume and turn-over are at an all-time high. That’s especially true for the budget and mid-ranger space, which is precisely where the Galaxy A31 positions itself.
[embedded content]
It is one of Samsung’s cheaper entry points into the sought-after Super AMOLED display tech, giving it a neck up ahead of siblings like the Galaxy A11 and A21s. The confusion starts to settle in once you look further up the Galaxy A device lineup, though. Particularly the Galaxy A41, which the A31 manages to outpace with a longer 6.4-inch screen diagonal and a larger 5,000 mAh battery. An odd choice, for sure, especially since the A41 is a bit more expensive in stores than the A31.
Samsung Galaxy A31
Body: 159.3×73.1×8.6mm, 185g; Plastic body and frame; Colors: Prism Crush Black, Prism Crush Blue, Prism Crush Red, Prism Crush White.
Display: 6.40″ Super AMOLED, 1080x2400px resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 411ppi.
Chipset: Mediatek MT6768 Helio P65 (12nm): Octa-core (2×2.0 GHz Cortex-A75 & 6×1.7 GHz Cortex-A55); Mali-G52 MC2.
Memory: 64GB 4GB RAM, 128GB 4GB RAM, 128GB 6GB RAM; eMMC 5.1; microSDXC (dedicated slot).
OS/Software: Android 10, One UI 2.0.
Rear camera: Wide (main): 48 MP, f/2.0, 26mm, 1/2.0″, 0.8µm, PDAF; Ultra wide angle: 8 MP, f/2.2, 123°, 1/4.0″, 1.12µm; Macro: 5 MP, f/2.4, (macro); Depth: 5 MP, f/2.4; LED flash, panorama, HDR.
Front camera: 20 MP, f/2.2.
Video capture: Rear camera: 1080p@30fps; Front camera: 1080p@30fps.
Battery: 5000mAh; Fast charging 15W.
Misc: Fingerprint (under display, optical), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass; FM radio, RDS, recording.
Things get weirder still when the Galaxy M family comes into play. The Galaxy M21 offers the same 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display, paired with a bigger 6,000 mAh battery and a slightly different chipset. The in-house Exynos 9611 might be lacking behind the A31’s MediaTek P65 in raw performance, but it is made on a more-efficient 10nm manufacturing node and impressively manages to squeeze 4K video recording and gyro-based EIS from a nearly identical main camera setup. To get the same kind of video capture versatility from a Galaxy A series device, you have to look at the more expensive Galaxy A51, which relies on the Exynos 9611 chipset, just like the Galaxy M21 and has a smaller 4,000 mAh battery.
Confusion seems to be the most appropriate response to all this. To be fair, not all of the Galaxy A and Galaxy M models are universally available across all markets, even if there is often a big overlap. This helps when trying to navigate the sea of choices.
On another positive note – the Galaxy A31 which we are looking at today, still manages to stand-out among its Galaxy A siblings as a high-value offer. One that combines the inky blacks of a Super AMOLED panel with a 5,000 mAh battery – the largest in the lineup. The Galaxy A51 has it beat with 4K video capture, EIS and higher resolution 12MP ultrawide camera but if none of these is particularly high on your wish list, the Galaxy A31 remains the most sensible choice from the lot.
Unboxing
Being part of the relatively more-premium Galaxy A family still has its perks, here and there, like a richer accessory package. Our base configuration 64GB, plus 4GB Galaxy A31 review unit shipped with a solid, even if basic pair of GH59-15055A earbuds, with an in-line microphone and volume controls. Also, a standard 15W Adaptive Fast Charging wall adapter and a Type-A to Type-C USB cable. Last, but not least, we find a soft, yet thick and sturdy, transparent plastic case. So out-of-the-box you’ve got everything you need to get you up and running.
The box itself is nothing special. Cost-savings are apparent, with a sleeve in place of a top cover piece and no plastic cradles or dividers on the inside. Still, the outer material is tick and perfectly adequate enough to serve its purpose and protect the Galaxy A31 in transit.

Huawei and Honor phones 2019 Review
Tumblr media
As known, Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd was founded in 1987 by a former engineer of the People's Liberation Army of China. Today, its share reaches 13% of global smartphone sales, second only to Samsung (19%). For example, in 2018, its revenue reached $ 107 billion, providing a profit of about $ 8.8 billion. A significant share of the company's products is sold under the Honor brand, which also belongs to Huawei. Of course, these smartphones have several key features that stably provide their popularity growth. The company annually introduces new models. 2019 was no exception. The company introduced several very interesting innovative phones, including the Nova 5, 5i and 5 Pro, P30 Lite, P30 and P30 Pro, Mate X and Mate 30 Pro, Honor 10i, 20, 20 Pro and View 20. Models of the budget Y-series usually have plastic cases and basic equipment.
Tumblr media
Often the company re-releases the popular models of this series, improving their key features. Usually they use RAM up to 3GB, TN- or IPS-matrix and entry-level 4-core chipsets from MediaTek and Qualcomm Snapdragon. Some models, for example Y7, use a dual-module camera. Low price and good quality provide them with high popularity, despite the lack of flagship options (USB Type-C, NFC, face unlock, etc).
Huawei Nova
In 2016, the company introduced the first generation of Huawei Nova. These smartphones were similar to the simplified flagships of the Samsung Galaxy A and used the Nexus 6P development experience that Huawei had previously done for Google. Thus, the series ranks between good mid-budget phones and simplified flagships. Success inspired the company to further develop this series. In 2019, Huawei introduced the Nova 5, Nova 5 Pro, and Nova 5i.
Tumblr media
The flagship Huawei Nova 5 Pro has a 6.39-inch OLED display with 2340 x 1080 resolution (Full HD+) and a pixel density of 403 ppi. The screen supports DCI-P3 color space and DC dimming. The model uses the flagship Kirin 980 chipset, 8GB RAM, 256GB internal flash memory, and a 3,500 mAh battery, supporting fast charging (85% in 30 minutes). Additionally, Nova 5 Pro has an excellent four camera system, which includes the main module (48MP Sony IMX586 sensor), 16MP Ultra-Wide module, 2MP Depth module and 2MP module for macro shots. Moreover, the phone supports night and portrait modes, and AI functions to optimize shooting. The 32MP front camera supports the innovative Super Pixel (Quad Pixel, Quad Bayer, TetraCell) technology, combining 4 adjacent pixels into one large pixel to capture more light in low light conditions.
Tumblr media
Huawei Nova 5 differs only in the new Kirin 810 chipset and 6/128GB vs 8/256GB in Huawei Nova 5 Pro. In fact, Nova 5i has become the Chinese version of Huawei P20 Lite (2019). It uses a 6.4-inch IPS matrix, 710F chipset, and 6/128GB. The four camera system has a 24MP main sensor, a 16MP sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP Depth module and a ToF sensor. The battery capacity reaches 4000 mAh.
Huawei P series
In 2019, the company introduced the P30 series, including the P30 Lite, P30 and P30 Pro. P30 Lite uses a frameless 6.15-inch LTPS screen with 1080 x 2312 (FullHD +) resolution (415 ppi density), a 8-core Kirin 710, 4GB RAM, a triple camera system and a 3340 mAh battery.
Tumblr media
The most compact P30 uses an 8-core Kirin 980 chipset, a frameless 6.1-inch OLED display with speaker and scanner. Its resolution reaches 2340 x 1080 (Full HD+) resolution (422 ppi density), and 4200 mAh battery.
Tumblr media
Many experts consider the P30 the best multi-camera smartphone. It has triple camera system with 40MP+ 20MP+ 8MP sensors with f/1.8, f/2.2 and f/2.4 aperture. As know, Huawei cameras are ahead of the competition in terms of night mode quality and zooming. The P30 was no exception, demonstrating superb night shooting and high-quality hybrid zoom. In night mode, the camera takes several pictures with different exposures and combines them, forming an image with an extended dynamic range. Such photos contain significantly less shaded areas, improved detail and color accuracy.
Tumblr media
Huawei P30 Pro
In fact, the P30 Pro was the replacement of the super popular 2018 Mate 20 Pro, which successfully competed even with the Samsung Galaxy S10+.
Tumblr media
P30 Pro uses a 6.47-inch AMOLED display with 2340 x 1080 resolution, 398 ppi, HiSilicon Kirin 980 (7nm, ARM 2 x Cortex-A76 2.6 GHz + 2 x Cortex-A76 1.92 GHz + 4 x Cortex-A55 1.58 GHz), Mali-G76 MP10, RAM 8GB and128GB/256GB/512GB. In addition, the flagship has a four camera system, including the main 40MP sensor (f/1.6) with optical stabilization, a 20MP sensor (f/2.2) with a wide-angle lens, telephoto (f/3.4) with x5 optical and x10 hybrid zoom, ToF (time of flight ), and supports laser, phase and contrast autofocus. Many experts looked forward with interest to the continuation of the magnificent Mate 20 Pro. But the platform and specs of the new flagship have not changed much. Of course, the P30 Pro looks great in the flagship segment in terms of shooting. For example, today only it has 5x optical zoom. But the price significantly reduces its competitiveness compared, for example, with the Mate 20 Pro or P20 Pro. The price/quality ratio of last year's flagships wins significantly compared to the P30 Pro. Unfortunately for consumers, the company effectively solved this problem by limiting the offerings the Mate 20 Pro and P20 Pro.
Huawei Mate series
Traditionally, Huawei Mate series contains models with large screens. But in recent years, the rapid increase in the size of their diagonals has significantly shifted the gradations between the large, medium and small screens. According to rumors, the company is considering the possibility of combining it with the P series into a single flagship series. The difference in specs of 30 Pro and Mate 30 Pro shows an approximate level of difference for the models in these series.
Tumblr media
Huawei P30 Pro vs Huawei Mate 30 Pro - Kirin 980 chipset (2018) vs Kirin 990 (2019) with latest Cortex-A76 ARM design; - 6.47-inches OLED vs 6.53-inches OLED Display; - 2340 x 1080 (398ppi) vs 2400 x 1176 (409ppi); - 8GB+128GB/256GB/512GB vs 8GB+256GB; - 4200mAh vs 4500mAh In addition, P30 Pro uses main 40MP sensor, f/1.6 + 20MP Ultra-Wide, f/2.2 + 8MP Tele, 5x optical, f/3.4 + ToF depth sensing. Mate 30 Pro has main 40MP sensor, f/1.6 + 40MP Ultra-Wide, f/1.8 + 8MP Tele 3x optical, f/2.4 + ToF depth sensing. The 2019 Huawei Mate series contains Huawei Mate X и Mate 30 Pro. At the end of February 2019, at the MWC in Barcelona, Huawei introduced the folding Mate X with an estimated price of more than $ 2,500.
Tumblr media
The model uses an 8-inch AMOLED display, providing: - open: 2200 x 2480 (8: 7.1); - folded front: 2480 x 1148, (19.5: 9); - folded back: 2480 x 892 (25: 9). In addition, the Mate X has an 8-core Kirin 980, 8GB RAM, 4500 mAh battery, a three-module camera, including a main 40MP (f/1.8), 8MP telephoto (f/2.4), 16MP wide-angle (f/2.2) and ToF camera for 3D scanning.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro
Many experts called the Huawei Mate 30 Pro the most innovative smartphone of the year.
Tumblr media
The model uses one of the best modern chipsets. 7nm 8-core HiSilicon Kirin 990 (2 x Cortex-A76, 2.86 GHz + 2 x Cortex-A76, 2.09 GHz + 4 x Cortex-A55, 1.86 GHz) with a Mali-G76 GPU and with twice number of NPU (Neural Processing Unit) is only slightly inferior in speed of data exchange to the latter Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus. In addition, the Mate 30 Pro received EMUI 10 for Android 10. As known, cooperation with the famous German Leica Camera AG radically improved the quality of Huawei's cameras, allowing the company to seize leadership in the segment of camera phones. Mate 30 Pro is no exception. The model uses a set of great sensors, including: - 40MP, 18 mm, f/1.8 (Cine Camera); - 40MP, 27 mm, f/1.6, with OIS (SuperSensing Camera); - 8MP, Telephoto, 80 mm, f/2.4, with 3x optical zoom, 5x hybrid and 30x digital zoom and OIS; - 3D Depth Sensing Camera; - 32MP, 26 mm, f / 2.0 (front, without stabilization and autofocus).
Tumblr media
Moreover, Mate 30 Pro has 6.53-inches OLED Display with 2400 х 1176 (FullHD+) resolution and 409 ppi density, 100% sRGB color coating, maximum brightness of 450 nits and its automatic adjustment. Unfortunately, the screen flickers slightly due to the low frequency PWM. As known, the flickering the OLED screens causes eye strain. On the other hand, OLED provides almost infinite contrast and very accurate color reproduction.
Pros & Cons
PROS - innovative Horizon Display design; - a magnificent set of cameras; - fast and accurate face unlock; - excellent phone performance with Kirin 990; - improved gesture control; - fast wireless charging, reverse wireless charging; - fast operation of the fingerprint scanner; - IP68 (protection against water and dust); - a powerful speakerphone. CONS - the price is about $ 1,000; - no stereo speakers; - flickering screen; - no NFC; - problems accessing Google services.
Honor
Huawei Technologies founded Honor as one of the brands of its smartphones in 2013. Initially, it was positioned in the budget and mid-budget segments for young people. Since 2016, Honor has been selling its products mainly via the Internet, minimizing operating costs. As a result, price of Honor smartphones have an advantage over their competitors. The stunning success of the brand provoked its rapid development. As a result, today the company produces several successful Honor series, including the flagship (under a certain number), a, i, v, x, Lite, etc. Formally, Honor is one of the Huawei series. But, in fact, many perceive it as an independent brand. Moreover, the popularity of Honor is not inferior to Huawei. For example, in the second quarter of 2018, its share reached 55% of the total sales of Huawei smartphones. The company is constantly updating its line of smartphones, annually offering new models. 2019 is no exception. The company introduced the Honor 20 and 20 Pro, Honor View 20, Honor 10i, 9X and 9X Pro, 8A, 8S, 10 and 20 Lite.
Honor 20 Pro, Honor 20, Honor View 20 and Honor 10i
Tumblr media
The flagship Honor 20 Pro uses a 6.26-inch frameless IPS screen with a 2340 x 1080 resolution (19.5: 9 ratio and 412 ppi density), an 8-core HiSilicon Kirin 980 chipset with Mali-G76 MP10, Android 9.0, RAM 8GB, 4000 mAh battery, has a fingerprint scanner and NFC, and also supports two SIM cards. Four-module camera: - 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor, f / 1.4; - 16MP ultra wide-angle module; - 8MP telephoto; - 2MP. The phone also has a 32MP front camera. Honor 20 differs only in a set of cameras, lack of laser autofocus and a smaller battery capacity (3750 mAh vs 4000 mAh).
Tumblr media
The flagship Honor View 20 for the first time in the world uses a front camera built into the screen.
Tumblr media
It uses a 6,4-inch frameless IPS screen with a 2310 x 1080 resolution (398 ppi density), an 8-core Kirin 980 chipset with Mali-G76 MP10, Android 9.0, RAM 6GB, 4000 mAh battery, has a fingerprint scanner and NFC, and also supports two SIM cards. In February 2019, the model took second place in performance, behind only the Samsung Galaxy S10+, whose price is twice as high. The dual-module camera uses two gorgeous 48MP sensors with f/1.8. According to many experts, the quality of its photography surpasses even the Mate 20 Pro. Today, Honor 10i is one of the most popular mid-budget model in the Honor price list.
Tumblr media
It uses a 6.21-inch frameless IPS screen, Kirin 710, RAM 4GB, has a fingerprint scanner and NFC, and also supports two SIM cards.
Conclusion
Despite problems with sanctions, the Chinese giant continues to be one of the leaders in this segment. The magnificent cameras created in collaboration with the famous German Leica Camera AG, the excellent HiSilicon Kirin chipsets, which today successfully compete even with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus and the very promising Harmony OS complement the company's traditional advantages, including its flexible pricing policy and a huge assortment. Moreover, Harris Interactive has recently conducted research in terms of the phobes reliability of smafons. They analyzed 130,050 cases of after-sales appeals of customers of a large European Darty retail network. Unexpectedly for many, Honor and Huawei took two first places, ahead of even Apple. According to these results, Honor, Huawei and iPhone today have the lowest failure rate and breakdowns, being the most reliable smartphones. Perhaps the Chinese manufacturer for the first time ahead of traditional leaders in this indicator. This video offers camera comparison of Huawei Mate 30 Pro vs Galaxy Note 10 Plus. Introduction Samsung Galaxy Note 10 -We have created a small version of the site by looking at the original notes. Meet the Samsung Galaxy Note 10. The 10+ is still the Note, but the Note10 (smaller) is the Note for those who didn't feel the need for a Note. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 is smaller than the Galaxy S10+ but much more compact than its predecessor. Due to the enthusiasm of those who use the note, this set is reaching. Notes should be larger than S-series devices, it's the norm. However, if this reasoning comes from a time when one Samsung device was available in each of its high-end lineups (let's pretend the S10e isn't actually there for the sake of argument), then what's wrong? The Galaxy Note 10's size is perhaps the most controversial aspect of its design. The Galaxy Note10, a descendant of the original phablet and the Galaxy Note of 2011, isn't loved by everyone. The haters claim it isn't a true Note if it's smaller than the current-gen S series phone. This is not the first time we've had to engage in dogmatic arguments at work. We have never been able to reach a consensus. Team "pure Note" insists that the Note10 should not exist because it isn't the best smartphone Samsung offers. Size is a part of that. The less moral people (or maybe they prefer to be progressive but who are they kidding?) enjoy the Note 10 for what it really is: a compact note. The Note10's display is 6.3 inches larger than the S10's, which could be counted as a current loophole within the Galaxy laws. It can still wear the Note badge, even though it is smaller than the S10+. More concerning is the 1080p resolution. The S10 has smaller screens than the QHD while the Note10+ is 6.8 inches. This is one in favor if your team doesn't have this. These teams insist that Notes must be equipped using top-of-the-line hardware. This isn't the case. Yet, it has plenty. Samsung Galaxy Note10 Specification: Body Dimensions: 151x71.8x7.9mm. 168g. Curved Gorilla Glass 6 front, back, aluminum frame. IP68 rating. Screen: 6.3” Dynamic AMOLED with 1080x2280px resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. 401ppi. HDR10+ Support. Chipset: (market dependent): Exynos 9825 (7nm) (in EMEA/LATAM): Octa-core-(2x2.73 GHz Mongoose M4 & 2x2.4 GHz Cortex-A75 with 4x1.9 GHz Cortex-A55); Mali-G76 MP12. CPU- Snapdragon 855 (7nm), Octa-core CPU (1x2.8GHz & 3x2.4GHz Kryo Gold & 4x1.7GHz Kryo 485 Silver). Adreno 640 GPU. Memory: 8GB RAM, 256GB UFS3.0 storage, without microSD slots OS: One UI-based Android 9.0 Pie Rear camera: Wide, 12MP, 1/2.55", Sensor, f/1.5-2.2.4 aperture, 26mm Equiv. focal length (77deg FoV), dual pixel PDAF/OIS. Telephoto: 12MP, 1/3.6" sensor. f/2.1 aperture, 52mm equiv. focal length (45deg FoV), PDAF. OIS. Ultra-wide: 16MP, f/2.2 aperture, 12mm equiv. Fixed focus. Front Camera: 10MP (f/2.2), 26mm (wide), 2.22um, Dual Pixel PDAAF; 2160p@30fps Video Recording Battery: 3,500mAh. 25W fast charging over power delivery 3.0. (25W charger included in the box). Miscellaneous: Quick Qi/PMA wireless charger 15W; Reverse wireless charging 9W/Power bank; S-Pen stylus. Because the Note10 has a smaller screen, it also has a smaller 10+ battery. This is quite logical. The scaling-down process has resulted in a missing feature. While the large phone can charge at 45W with an adapter (or more), the plain 10 can only charge at 25W using the bundled brick. Conclusion: Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Other minor differences deserve the plus sign. The Note 10's lack of a ToF camera is not a problem, but it may be something some people will regret. The Note 10 can only be purchased with 256GB. It's possible to feel uneasy about 8 gigs of RAM. But, with only 256GB of storage, we can see why some may be disappointed. It doesn't have to be. Let's get it out of its box and begin to find out if Note 10 deserves its name.

OnePlus is coming back to the budget smartphone market in a big way with the “OnePlus Nord,” a device with an odd name but a pretty spectacular feature set for the ~$450 price tag. We’ve had the phone for almost two weeks now and can say it’s easily one of the best Android phones on the market.
Let’s talk about what OnePlus is offering. With Snapdragon 865 phones often topping $1,000, this is the first phone we’ve tried with the cheaper Snapdragon 765G; at just one step down in Qualcomm’s lineup, this is what most manufacturers seem to be going with to bring smartphone prices back down to Earth. The phone still has a minimum of 8GB of RAM, and while it’s only using UFS 2.1 storage, the phone still feels plenty fast. The headline feature is probably the 90Hz display, which is sneaking out of the flagship realm and into less-expensive phones.
The biggest downside to this phone is the distribution; for now, it is not for sale in the US. OnePlus is sending a lot of mixed messages as to future US availability of the Nord. First, the official quote from CEO Pete Lau doesn’t totally close the door on the idea, saying, “We are going to start relatively small with this new product line by first introducing it in Europe and India. But don’t worry, we’re also looking to bring more affordable smartphones to North America in the near future as well.”
OnePlus both sent the Nord to US media and has the phone listed on its US website, which it usually doesn’t do for phones that aren’t launching here. The company is also running a “Beta Program” for the US and Canada that will see 50 people get the phone. People on OnePlus’ mailing list have been receiving a provocative email that screams “OnePlus Nord is coming to North America” (meaning all 50 units of the beta test).
You know, on second thought, maybe OnePlus isn’t sending mixed signals. Please just officially announce that the phone will be for sale here. It’s good!
Design—indistinguishable from a flagship
You wouldn’t know the Nord is a cheaper phone from the design or construction, since it’s basically identical to any high-end smartphone on the market. You get a standard all-glass smartphone with Gorilla Glass on the front and back. There’s a slim-bezel display with a hole-punch camera on the front and a ton of cameras on the back. Other than the option for a hyper-vibrant light blue color, it’s a positively generic design. In the case of a mid-range phone, that’s a good thing—there really haven’t been any corners cut here.
SPECS AT A GLANCE: ONEPLUS NORD SCREEN 6.44-inch, 2400×1080, 90Hz AMOLED

SIZE 158.3×73.3×8.2mm WEIGHT 184g BATTERY 4100mAh STARTING PRICE ~$456 OTHER PERKS 30w quick charging, optical in-display fingerprint sensor
The OnePlus Nord’s primary sales pitch is that you’re getting the best display ever fitted to a mid-range smartphone. The 90Hz display means this phone looks and feels like a flagship from the past year or so, and it’s something no other company offers at this price right now. A faster display is one of the biggest improvements in smartphones in the past few years and makes everything about the phone feel faster and smoother. Scrolling, swiping, and animations all look and feel better, provided your phone has the horsepower to draw everything at 90fps, and we’re happy to say the OnePlus Nord is definitely fast enough. Once you’ve used a higher refresh rate display, it’s hard to go back to anything else.
Another major point for the OnePlus Nord display is that it’s completely flat, a stark contrast to the last few phones from OnePlus (and Samsung, and LG, and most Chinese OEMs) that have put a curve on the left and right side of the display. Curves have few upsides and come with a host of problems. A curved display can make the text hard to read and will distort the top and bottom of landscape videos. In some lighting, the curve gets a ton of glare, making it hard to see the sides of the display. Manufacturers have convinced each other that a curved display “looks cool,” but looking at a distorted screen doesn’t seem cool to me at all.
The Nord has a flat screen designed to display flat apps, webpages, and videos just like the creators intended, and it’s glorious. OnePlus says they did this because a curved display is more expensive, but curved displays are a gimmick. More expensive phones should use flat screens, too.
There’s a sizable cutout in the top-left corner of the display for the dual front-facing camera, making the phone look like a mirrored version of the Galaxy S10+. Beside the main 32MP front camera is the 8MP wide-angle camera, letting selfie shutterbugs get that wide shot without the need for a selfie stick. This is something manufacturers like Samsung and Google did a generation ago and then quickly discarded for the current generation, and no one really complained. I’m not sure why OnePlus is trying to bring back front wide-angle cams.
The oval-shaped camera cutout is the strangest part of the design. Being on the left side means it pushes the clock to the right, which now isn’t on the left side of the screen, or the right side, it’s just kind of floating around at the one-quarter mark of the display. It’s odd-looking.
Of course, there’s also the non-Android competition to consider, and any mid-range phone has a big problem in the form of the new iPhone SE, which at just $400 in the US is a killer deal. Apple’s SoC prowess and Qualcomm’s Android monopoly mean this mid-range iPhone is faster than even the most expensive Android phones this year and might out-benchmark Qualcomm’s chips from next year, too. There is more to a phone than benchmarks, though, and the OnePlus Nord actually has a decent argument against the iPhone SE, thanks to the bigger, faster display and more modern design. Right now, OnePlus also isn’t going up against the $400 iPhone SE, which is the price in the US. In Europe and India, Apple’s mid-ranger is a lot more expensive, at about $570, so OnePlus is actually undercutting Apple by quite a bit.
The light-blue version I was sent is one of the most vibrantly colored products I have ever seen, and photos really don’t do it justice. The light blue back is nearly luminescent, and while it’s not the dramatic color-changing effect that we’ve seen on other phones, it feels like it’s part of the same branch of materials science. Light likes to bounce around and scatter inside the glass panel, and the whole thing kind of lights up. It’s pretty, but it’s also fragile glass, so most people are just going to put a case on it.
The metal mid-frame is exposed around the sides, and this, too, gets a hyper-vibrant color treatment: a metallic light blue with a mirror finish. On the bottom you’ll find the SIM slot, USB-C port, and the phone’s only media speaker. There’s no headphone jack or MicroSD slot. On the left side, you have OnePlus’ trademark three-position mute switch, which changes between sound, silence, and vibrate, followed by the power button.
There are four cameras on the back, and together with the front, that makes six cameras. I have to ask, is it really necessary to have a budget phone with six cameras? If you asked me to cut down a phone’s bill of materials, the first thing I would do is start hacking and slashing at the superfluous camera lenses, but this $450 phone has more cameras than even a $1,200 Galaxy S20 Ultra. Google’s budget approach of “one good camera” on the Pixel 3a seems like the more reasonable approach, and maybe if OnePlus did that, it could bring the price down even more!
For a mid-range phone, there really isn’t much missing here. You still get NFC, the same in-screen optical fingerprint reader as every other phone, and OnePlus’ fantastic 30W quick charging. Compared to a flagship phone, the big list of missing features would be the aforementioned single speaker instead of stereo, no wireless charging, and no official water-resistance rating. OnePlus says the phone still has gaskets to provide some water resistance, but with no official rating it’s hard to say how much, like “is this submersible?” Even with an official rating, no smartphone company stands behind its water-resistance ratings with an official policy to replace a water damaged phone under warranty (see policies from Apple, Samsung, Google, Verizon), so I can’t ding OnePlus too much.
A surprisingly strong argument against the iPhone SE
The OnePlus Nord versus the iPhone SE. There is a bit of a size difference.

You get a lot more webpage on the 6.44-inch display than on the 4.7-inch one.
Ron Amadeo
Android’s competition is stronger than it has ever been this generation, thanks to Apple’s launch of the iPhone SE. The SE has really upended the mid-range market by offering the same Apple A13 Bionic SoC that comes in the bigger iPhone, but in a $400 device. Android phones couldn’t compete with Apple’s SoC at the high end (certainly not at single-threaded performance), but to now have a $400 device that is still faster than the most expensive Android devices is downright embarrassing. Qualcomm, which is Android’s biggest SoC vendor, really has no answers at all for a mid-range device like this.
There’s more to a phone than just benchmarks, though, and I think the OnePlus Nord actually has a surprisingly solid argument against the SE. The 90Hz display is something the iPhone SE doesn’t offer, and it makes a major difference in how fast the phone feels. If you didn’t show them a benchmark first, I bet most people would say the 90Hz Nord feels faster than the 60Hz iPhone SE. The Nord also has a much more modern design with a huge display and thin bezels, while the iPhone SE design looks like it’s several years old. The SE design basically is several years old—Apple copy-and-pasted the iPhone 7 design from 2016. Some people might call the iPhone’s tiny 4.7-inch display a good thing, but, according to every smartphone manufacturer’s market research department and lots of sales data, those people are a vocal minority. Smaller phones also have worse battery life, a common complaint with the new SE.
There’s also the matter that the SE’s headline $400 price tag is a sweetheart deal for the US, and in the rest of the world, the SE is much more expensive. In Europe and India, where the Nord will actually be for sale, the SE is $570, so OnePlus is actually significantly undercutting Apple. The $450 price in Europe is already enough of a difference, but India gets a special, lower-tier SKU with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage for ₹24,999, or $335.

Redmi Note 9 Full Review
Redmi Note 9 Pro Review
The price for the Redmi Note 9 is evaluated at Rs.11,999 In India.
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
Xiaomi made an immense sprinkle in the Indian market prior this year with the Redmi Note 9 Pro and the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max. These two cell phones had amazing determinations at serious costs, however, the fervor has been brief, as they have both become progressively costly currently on account of rupee-dollar changes and a GST climb. Xiaomi is already selling the Redmi Note 9, which costs Rs.15,000. It sports ground-breaking internals contrasted with its forerunners, yet is it an acceptable incentive for cash? I'm exploring the new Redmi Note 9 to discover. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Redmi Note 9 plan: Same however extraordinary Redmi presented its Aura Balance structure with the Redmi Note 9 Pro【₹ 13,999】arrangement, and the Redmi Note 9【₹ 11,999】gets it as a matter of course. It looks a ton like its kin, however not at all like them the Redmi Note 9 doesn't have a side-mounted unique finger impression scanner. Rather, it has a progressively conventional back-mounted one, situated right beneath the back camera module.
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
Xiaomi has coordinated the shade of the unique finger impression scanner with the polished completion of the camera module, which makes it difficult to spot from a good ways. I lean toward a back mounted unique mark scanner, and the one on the Redmi Note 9 is very much situated. Xiaomi has propelled the cell phone in three hues: Pebble Gray, Arctic White, and Aqua Green. I had an Arctic White unit for this audit, and it has a decent angle at the back. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); The second large change on the Redmi Note 9 is the opening punch show. The forward-looking camera is in the upper left corner instead of on the inside, similar to the Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max【₹ 16,999】. The opening isn't diverting. On the off chance that you hold the telephone in the scene, odds are you won't notice it by any means. What you will see are the genuinely thick bezels, yet I would state this is worthy at this value point. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Xiaomi has gone with a major presentation for the Redmi Note 9, thus this telephone needs a slight mix in the hand to arrive at the top with one hand. The force and volume catches are all around situated and simple to hit. Much the same as most other Redmi telephones, Note 9 has an IR producer on the top. This can be utilized to control your TV or forced air system and could prove to be useful. The telephone is 8.9mm thick and weighs 199g. It is marginally on the heavier side contrasted with a portion of the different cell phones in this value extend. Xiaomi says it has utilized a P2i nano-covering on the gadget with elastic seals on the ports for a touch of insurance from presentation to fluids. The fundamental explanation behind the weight could be the enormous battery that this telephone packs. Xiaomi has additionally packaged a 22.5W charger in the container (however charging is at present constrained to 18W - more on that later).
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
Redmi Note 9 determinations and programming: New equipment, normal, worn-out understanding The Redmi Note 9 is currently the section point for the Note 9 arrangement, and Xiaomi has picked the MediaTek Helio G85 for this model. It is an octa-center processor with two Cortex-A75 centers timed at 2GHz, and six Cortex-A55 centers timed at 1.8GHz. The ARM Mali-G52 GPU is optimized for applications at 1GHz. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); The Redmi Note 9 has a 6.53-inch show with a full-HD+ goal (1080x2340 pixels) and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for insurance. There are three variations of the Redmi Note 9: 4GB of RAM with 64GB of capacity, 4GB of RAM with 128GB of capacity, and 6GB of RAM with 128GB of capacity. These variations are evaluated at Rs. 11,999, Rs, 13,499, and Rs. 14,999 individually at dispatch, and I had the top variation for this survey. The Redmi Note 9 offers expandable capacity with a devoted microSD card space. It has two Nano-SIM spaces and supports double 4G just as VoLTE. There's Wi-Fi 802.11 n, Bluetooth v5, and four satellite route frameworks. The battery limit is 5,020mAh. The Redmi Note 9 is additionally equipped for 9W turn around charging through the USB Type-C port. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); As far as programming, not a lot is new. The Redmi Note 9 runs MIUI 11 on the head of Android 10 and my unit had the ongoing June security fix. The telephone accompanies a decent measure of bloatware preinstalled, and recommends that you download some more during the arrangement procedure. It additionally shows promotions on the lock screen, an alternative that is empowered as a matter of course, yet I handicapped it while setting up the telephone. A portion of the applications that come pre-installed on the telephone are Mi Store, Asom Rummy, Helo, Mi Community, Zili, and Mi Pay. Helo and Mi Community have been restricted by the Government of India yet were preinstalled on my audit unit; these applications didn't work, however.
The UI is fundamentally the same as what I have become accustomed to on other Xiaomi cell phones. You get customary three-button route as a matter of course yet you can trade this for swipe motions. There are other valuable highlights, for example, Game Turbo, which clears RAM, gives higher data transfer capacity need to games running in the closer view, and limits signal route while gaming. It likewise offers the alternative to acknowledge approaching brings in without hands mode, and you can tweak contact reaction for each game. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I saw malicious notices from preinstalled applications, for example, Mi Video and Get Apps, and this dampened the general client experience. Redmi Note 9 execution: Capable equipment The presentation of the Redmi Note 9 gave me no motivation to whine. The MediaTek Helio G85 is a fit processor and could deal with my everyday errands without any problem. Application stacking times were adequate, and with 6GB of RAM, I could switch between various applications without any problem. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I found the presentation on the Redmi Note 9 to be not too bad. It has great review points and gets brilliant enough when required. You additionally get the alternative to change the shading yield. Notwithstanding, it isn't as punchy as the AMOLED show on the Samsung Galaxy M21 (Review). I saw the back mounted unique mark scanner as snappy to open the cell phone. Face acknowledgment was additionally quick and helpful. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I ran two or three benchmarks on the Redmi Note 9 to perceive how the MediaTek Helio G85 tolls contrasted with different processors. In Antutu, Redmi Note 9 returned 200,489, closing the comparably measured Realme Narzo 10 (Review). In Geekbench 5's single-center and multi-center tests, it scored 356, and 1,325 focuses separately. It likewise oversaw 38fps, 14fps, and 8fps in GFXBench's T-Rex, Manhattan 3.1, and Car Chase designs benchmarks separately. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); The Redmi Note 9 could run games, for example, PUBG Mobile and Asphalt 9: Legends with no issues. In PUBG Mobile, the telephone defaulted to the Medium settings yet I could knock it up to High without an over the top drop-in execution. In any case, the telephone got warm to the touch in the wake of playing for 20 minutes. I additionally saw about a 10 percent battery drop during this time. Black-top 9 ran at the default settings, and I just saw periodic falter on a couple of tracks.
I found the battery life of the Redmi Note 9 to be very acceptable. It could without much of a stretch go past a day and a half before waiting to be connected. Regardless of whether you are a substantial client, the 5,020mAh battery should last you longer than a day. It figured out how to keep going for 15 hours, 45 minutes in our HD video circle test. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); In the days after its delivery, a small controversy was triggered by the advertised Wattage of the charger used in Redmi Note 9. The Redmi Note 9 accompanies a 22.5W charger in the crate, yet the gadget is presently topped at 18W for charging. Xiaomi revealed to Gadgets 360 that the Redmi Note 9 right now has a "product lock" on how much force it will pull in and that it needs further lab and field testing which hasn't been conceivable as a result of the lockdown. Xiaomi says it intends to discharge a product update later on that will permit the Redmi Note 9 to charge at 22.5W. At present, the telephone charges to 29 percent in a short time and 60 percent in 60 minutes. Charging the gadget takes barely two hours. This ought to go down if or when Xiaomi opens the full charging speed. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Redmi Note 9 cameras: not exactly great around evening time The Redmi Note 9 has a quad-camera arrangement comprising of a 48-megapixel essential camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide-edge camera, 2-megapixel large scale camera, and a 2-megapixel profundity sensor. For selfies, it has a 13-megapixel camera in the front. The camera application is fundamentally the same as what I have seen on other Redmi telephones. Aside from the standard shooting modes, the application has a Pro mode for both photographs just as video, which lets you physically control various boundaries. It likewise has a Document mode that lets you crop photographs and convert them to Black and White right from the viewfinder. With applications, for example, Camscanner restricted, this will prove to be useful.
The Redmi Note 9 uses AI, which rushes to identify the substance of scenes and set the camera up as needs be. In the sunshine, the telephone conveys great shots, and text a good ways off is neat on zooming in. In any case, the AI will in general hone photographs a lot for my enjoyment. Photographs taken at the full 48-megapixel goal would be wise to subtleties and weren't honed so a lot. There was an observable drop in quality in photographs taken with the wide-edge camera. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); For close-ups, the AI rushed to perceive the subject, however, once in a while experienced difficulty with the center. Photographs were fresh and had a characteristic bokeh impact. There is a Pro Color alternative that knocks up the differentiation in the yield. The large scale camera lets you get exceptionally near a subject and deals with a fresh shot in ideal light. Representation mode oversaw great detachment between the subject and foundation. Edge identification was additionally awesome. I was unable to figure out how to set the degree of obscure before making an effort, however, the gadget allowed me to alter the degree of beautification.
In low light, the yield was not too bad, yet fine grain was obvious on zooming in. The camera application figured out how to hold clamor down. It takes more time to spare a shot in Night Mode, driving you to keep still for that time, however, there was scarcely any distinction in quality when utilizing it. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Selfies taken in sunlight were fresh and had great subtleties. You can make representation efforts utilizing the selfie camera too, however here I was unable to set the degree of obscure. The Redmi Note 9 managed great edge identification. The quality plunged in low light. Video recording finishes out at 1080p for the essential shooter. The Redmi Note 9 oversaw tolerable yield and stabilized film well. In low light, there was a recognizable shine, as the telephone attempted to balance out film. I found the camera execution of the Redmi Note 9 to be acceptable in sunlight, however, it was carefully normal in low light. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Decision The Redmi Note 9 beginnings at Rs. 11,999 in India which is significantly higher than the Redmi Note 8【₹ 12,499】(Review), which had figured out how to opening in under the Rs. 10,000 imprint. The ongoing GST climbs and the more vulnerable Rupee is supposed to be the fundamental explanations for the higher estimating. The base variation of the Redmi Note 9 offers fair an incentive with its full-HD+ show, amazing MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, and 4GB of RAM. It additionally conveys great battery life on account of the huge 5,020mAh battery. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Nonetheless, I can't say the equivalent regarding the top-end variation I checked on. At Rs. 14,999, it contends with some amazing telephones in the sub-Rs 15,000 fragment, for example, the Realme 6 (Review), Poco M2 Pro (Review), and even the Redmi Note 9 Pro (Review). These models offer improved execution and preferable highlights over the Redmi Note 9, making this variation somewhat difficult to suggest.

Xiaomi phones Review
Tumblr media
Today, more than 600 companies produce smartphones. However, almost 80% of the world market belongs to ten major manufacturers, including South Korean Samsung (19%) and LG (3%), American Apple (12%), Finnish Nokia (1%) and Chinese Huawei (13%, including Honor), Xiaomi (9%), Oppo (9%), Vivo (8%), Lenovo (3%, including Motorola), Tecno (1%). As known, the Chinese Xiaomi Corporation was founded in 2010. During this time, the company has developed and released a huge number of models in almost all price segments. Some series, for example, Xiaomi Mi Note, were discontinued, having existed for several years. But others were more successful.
Xiaomi series line
1.Xiaomi Mi - the main, flagship line; 6-inch or more IPS, or AMOLED displays, 8-core Snapdragon 660, 845, 710, 712, 730, 855 and 855+. 2018 - Mi 6X, Mi 8, Mi 8 Lite, Mi 8 EE and Mi 8 SE; 2019 - Mi 9T, Mi 9 SE, Mi 9 and Mi 9 Pro 5G. 2.Xiaomi Mi Max - phablets; 6.9 - inch IPS, 8-core Snapdragon 636. 2018 - Mi Max 3. 3.Xiaomi Mi Mix - frameless design; 5.99 "IPS and 6.39" Super AMOLED, 8-core Snapdragon 845. 2018 - Mix 2S and Mix 3; 4.Xiaomi Mi A - without MIUI firmware, with Android One distribution and a minimum of pre-installed programs (only Google services). Up to 6 inches IPS or 6-inch AMOLED, 8-core Snapdragon 660, 625 and 665. 2018 - Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite; 2019 - Mi A3. 5.Redmi is a budget segment; IPS up to 6 inches, 8-core Snapdragon 625, 8-core MediaTek Helio P22 or 4-core MediaTek Helio A22. 2018 - Redmi 5, 5 Plus, S2, 6, 6A, 6 Pro. 6.Redmi Note - Phablets; IPS from 6 inches, 8-core Snapdragon 636. 2018 - Redmi Note 5 and 6 Pro. 7.Redmi sub-brand - since 2019, the budget segment; IPS or AMOLED from 6.2 inches and above, 4-core Snapdragon 425 or 8-core Snapdragon 632, 660, 675, 730, 439. 2019 - Redmi GO, Redmi 7, Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7 Pro, Redmi K20, Redmi 8. 8.Black Shark - game series (liquid cooling system, screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, enhanced performance mode); 6-inch IPS, 6 or 6.4-inch AMOLED, 8-core Snapdragon 845 or 855. 2018 - Black Shark and Black Shark Helo; 2019 - Black Shark 2.
MIUI (MI User Interface)
Of course, the OS is one of the main components of a modern phone, providing most of its smart functionality. As known, since 2010 Xiaomi Inc has been developing open-source MIUI (MI User Interface) based on the Android OS. This OS does not use the app menu. The first versions were developed using a startup based on Android 2.2.x Froyo and only supported the Chinese language. After entering the international market, Xiaomi divided MIUI into local Chinese and international. The local version uses English and Chinese languages, and Chinese counterparts instead of Google services. The international version supports Google services and more than 40 languages. For nine years, the company has released 11 versions. The penultimate, MIUI 10 (10.4.5.0 latest stable release) version was released on May 31, 2018. On September 24, 2019, the company introduced the latest MIUI 11 (11.3.4.0 release) for Android 7.0 and up, including Android 10.
Tumblr media
MIUI 11
The list of major changes: - DC dimming. Probably, DC dimming has become one of the main improvements of the new version. As known, adjusting the brightness of OLED matrices uses PWM (Pulse Width Modulation). Unfortunately, PWM causes the screen flicker when brightness decreases, which causes eye strain. In fact, this is one of the main disadvantages of modern AMOLED screens. Of course, the solution to this problem is a serious achievement. To reduce brightness, the algorithm reduces the voltage applied to the pixels, instead of frequency; - interface - dark theme schedule, displaying the % battery charge, selecting MIUI or Android notifications, font size settings, a button for switching between camera modules, etc; - a significant expansion of the assortment of sounds and their sets for notifications, mainly on the theme of nature (meowing, etc); - Always On Display with dynamic animation; - similar to Apple's AirPlay, MIUI 11 offers Cast from Xiaomi (support for transferring content to the screens of most modern Smart TVs without additional software or equipment); - similar to Apple's AirDrop, data transfer to some other smartphones (Xiaomi, OPPO, Realme and Vivo).
Xiaomi Mi 9T and Xiaomi Mi 9 SE
The Xiaomi Mi 9T with a retractable front selfie camera offers a minimal flagship set.
Tumblr media
The model uses a 6.39-inch AMOLED display with 2340 x 1080 resolution (403 ppi), an 8-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 chipset (2 ARM Cortex-A76 with a frequency of up to 2.2 GHz and 6 ARM Cortex-A55 with a frequency of up to 1.8 GHz), RAM 6GB and 64/128GB. In addition, the model may well claim the status of a camera phone using a three-module camera (48 MP, 8 MP and 13 MP sensors) with f/1.75, f/2.40, f/2.40 aperture, LED flash, autofocus, macro mode and optical Zoom 2x. As usual, the front camera uses a 20 megapixel sensor. In addition, a 4000 mAh battery provides a good battery life. PROS - good hardware platform; - great main camera; - retractable front camera; - high battery life. Cons - does not support 4K @ 60 video recording; - the average level of the unlock system. Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is a compact version with a 5.97-inch Super AMOLED with 2340 x 1080 resolution (432 ppi).
Tumblr media
MI 9 SE uses Snapdragon 712 (2 Kryo 360 clusters, including 2 Cortex-A75 with a frequency of 2.3 GHz and 6 Coretx-A55 with a frequency of up to 1.8 GHz), RAM 6GB and 64 / 128GB, NFC and fast charging. The model also has a three-module camera (8MP Sony IMX586 Exmor RS + 8MP + 13MP) and a 20-megapixel front camera.
Xiaomi Mi 9
Xiaomi Mi 9 is a more performance phone. Like the Mi 9T, the model uses a 6.39-inch AMOLED display with 2340 x 1080 resolution (403 ppi), RAM 6GB and 128GB.
Tumblr media
But the company equipped it with the more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 (8 Kryo 485, including Coretx-A76 up to 2.84 GHz + 512 KB cache, 3 Coretx-A76 (256 KB cache) up to 2.42 GHz and 4 Coretx-A55 up to 1.8 GHz).
Tumblr media
As known, the first smartphones with Snapdragon 855, including Xiaomi Mi9, Samsung Galaxy S10, LG G8 and V50 were presented at MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2019. In addition, Mi 9 uses an exellent three-module (48 MP + 16 MP + 12 MP) camera with f/1.75, f/2.20 and f/2.20 aperture and a 20-megapixel front camera. PROS - great hardware platform; - excellent shooting quality; - Qualcomm Quick Charge and wireless charging. Cons - high price; - no optical stabilization; - there is no protection against moisture.
Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G
But in September, the company already introduced the Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G.
Tumblr media
This smartphone has the latest Snapdragon 855+ (2019) with a fast Prime Core that clocks up to 2.96 GHz (up from 2.84 GHz in the 855), three fast ARM Cortex-A76 performance cores, which can reach up to 2.42 GHz and four power-saving ARM Cortex-A55 cores that clock up to a maximum of 1.8 GHz. In AnTuTu, the result of Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G reaches 480,830 points. Its price is $ 520 for model with RAM 8GB and 128GB, $ 534 - 8/256GB, $ 577 - 12/256GB and $ 605 - 12/512GB. The capacity of battery increased from 3300 to 4000 mAh. The model supports triple fast charging. Charging time for wired charging is 48 minutes; wireless charging provides 2000 mAh in 25 minutes. The smartphone also supports wireless reverse charging for other mobile devices.
Tumblr media
But other components have not changed much. The Mi 9 Pro 5G uses a 6.39-inch Samsung Super AMOLED Full HD+ display with a maximum brightness of 600 nits, and a fingerprint sensor is integrated under the screen. The three-module camera has a 48 megapixel sensor (wide-angle lens with a viewing angle of 79° and an aperture of f/1.75), a 16 megapixel sensor (ultra wide-angle lens with an aperture of f/2.2 and a viewing angle of 117°) and 12 megapixel sensor with f/2, 2. Additionally, the model has a front-facing 20-megapixel camera with f/2.0.
Xiaomi Black Shark 2
In addition, in 2019, the company introduced the second generation of the gaming Black Shark smartphone.
Tumblr media
Xiaomi engineers managed to significantly improve the previous version. Firstly, Black Shark 2 uses an AMOLED matrix with an unprecedentedly low switching time for brightness levels and response of the sensor layer. Unfortunately, it does not support DC Dimming technology that eliminates screen flicker due to low frequency PWM. Secondly, the model uses an advanced liquid cooling system with a copper radiator and several layers of graphite film.
Tumblr media
Unfortunately, it still heats up under prolonged high loads, but much less compared to Black Shark. The model uses an 8-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855. In addition, the smartphone has a 6.39-inch AMOLED display with 2340 x 1080 resolution (403 ppi), RAM 6GB, 128GB, a dual-module camera (48 MP + 12 MP) with f/1.75 and f/2.20 aperture and 20-megapixel front camera. Additionally, a 4000 mAh battery provides a good battery life. PROS - Snapdragon 855; - very fast AMOLED matrix; - gamer interface; - Parental Control; - optional gamepad. Cons - no DC Dimming technology; - does not support memory cards; - no NFC (Near Field Communication) module. As known, the NFC module provides wireless data transmission at a short distance of up to 10 cm using a radio signal. The module practically does not consume energy and provides almost instant communication. Unfortunately, this protocol supports a rather low speed and limited amount of data. However, its popularity is growing rapidly.
Xiaomi Mi MIX Alpha
Of course, Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has become the most innovative phone in 2019. The area of its wrap-around screen reaches 180.6% of the body area. In fact, this unusual display is wrapped around the case.
Tumblr media
Its side faces are used to place touch buttons. Of course, the camera with a 108-megapixel sensor (1/1.33-inch) was the second sensation of the model.
Tumblr media
The camera also has an integrated optical image stabilization system. Lightweight and durable titanium alloy case provides a stylish design.
Tumblr media
The rest of the specs also correspond to the highest level, including 5G, Snapdragon 855 Plus, RAM 12GB, 512GB, sound transmission technology via vibration of the screen surface, 4050 mAh battery, fast charge, etc. Unfortunately, the preliminary price of the model reaches around $ 3,000.
Conclusion
More recently, consumer electronics from Chinese brands was mainly positioned in the budget or mid-budget segments due to the relatively low quality and innovative level. But in the past few years, the situation has changed radically. Chinese smartphones, TVs, projectors, robotic vacuum cleaners are increasingly successfully competing with the flagships of traditional leaders. For example, many experts call Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G one of the best models of 2019. In addition, Xiaomi Black Shark 2 successfully competes in the gaming segment. Moreover, Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha rightfully claims to be the main innovative sensation of 2019. On the other hand, the price of Chinese brands also no longer refers to the budget segment. Of course, Samsung, LG, and other traditional leaders are still leading in terms of reliability and service. But Xiaomi can press them on the innovative Olympus. Of course, this factor will significantly affect the choice of the optimal smartphone among high-tech fans. This video shows a new Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha phone with a unprecedented screen to body ratio (180,6%) and with a 108-megapixel sensor (1/1.33-inch). Read the full article

Key features of Samsung smartphones
Tumblr media
Of course, the South Korean giant is one of the leaders in the segment of high-tech consumer electronics. At the end of the last century, the company focused its efforts on the development of high technologies, using innovation as the main tool for successful competition. As a result, the company almost every year offers innovative models in almost all segments of consumer electronics. Today Samsung smartphones, TVs, robotic vacuum cleaners, refrigerators, etc convincingly prove the correctness this strategic decision. Of course, Samsung’s own developments radically expand the capabilities of South Korean engineers with high-tech innovative components. Today Samsung develops and manufactures high-performance Exynos processors, fast UFS (Universal Flash Storage) smartphone storage, excellent high-contrast AMOLED (Active Matrix Organic Light-Emitting Diode) matrices, convenient One UI software overlay. After the acquisition of Harman Kardon and AKG companies, high-quality acoustics also added to this list.
Samsung One UI software overlay
As known, software overlay is a unique Android version from each manufacturer. Usually, Google develops a new version of the OS, downloads its source code for free, and releases an update for its Pixel smartphones. After that, each manufacturer can take a new free Android version from Google and use it on their smartphone, including after editing. But some companies, including Samsung, are developing their own software overlay. In particular, the first TouchWiz version was introduced on the Samsung F480 Tocco in 2008. At the end of 2016, the company replaced it with Samsung Experience. From January 2017 to August 2018, the company released five versions, including Samsung Experience 8.0 (Android 7.0 Nougat), 8.5 (Android 7.1.1 Nougat), 9.0 (Android 8.0.0 Oreo) and 9.5 (Android 8.1.0 Oreo). At the Samsung Developer Conference 2018, the company introduced the new One UI for the Galaxy series. This new interface for Android 9 Pie is adapted for smartphones with a large display diagonal. In recent years, increasing the screen diagonal is one of the main trends. But this complicates one-handed operation. One UI partially solved this problem by shifting the interface elements to the bottom of the display, which is more accessible to the fingers.
One UI 2
But in October 2019, Samsung released the public beta of One UI 2 version. The list of its main differences includes: - Android 10; - new control gestures have become similar to the iPhone: swipe up - main screen, with a delay - list of apps, side-swipe - return; - compact sizes of various pop-ups. Now the incoming call window takes up much less screen space without closing the app.
Tumblr media
- the text color automatically changes depending on the selected wallpaper.
Tumblr media
- new design of some sections; - updated report on battery consumption; - new effects of side lighting; - improved camera interface with an expanded selection of modes; - wallpaper section in the screen settings and dimming option; - basket of contacts. But today, One UI 2 is only available in the United States and South Korea.
Chipset
Today, Samsung uses its own Exynos processors and Snapdragon Qualcomm from the American Qualcomm Technologies Inc. In addition, the company does not exclude the possibility of using inexpensive MediaTek chipsets with 5G support for some models of the Galaxy A and M series. The company recently announced the new 5G Exynos Modem 5123 and hyper-fast 7nm Exynos 990 with three-cluster architecture, including dual-core custom CPU, dual-core Cortex-A76 and energy-efficient quad-core Cortex-A55.
Tumblr media
According to the company, it provides 20% improved performance. Apparently, it will be used in the next flagship Samsung Galaxy S11 and Note 11, in parallel with modifications based on the Snapdragon 865 processor for the US and Hong Kong markets. As known, the company traditionally uses Snapdragon in models for the US market. Of course, each of the chipsets has pros and cons. Exynos heats up less and consumes less energy, supports 2 SIM cards, uses a more efficient apps manager and receives updates more often. Snapdragon provides higher signal reception quality and better performance, which is especially evident in games.
Smartphone Storage
Previously, almost all mobile phones used eMMC (flash memory plus controller) architecture. The latest eMMC 5.1 version of 2015 provides a reading speed of 250 MB/s and writing - 125 MB/s. In 2016, Samsung first introduced UFS (Universal Flash Storage) memory based on the new operation principle that provides significantly faster read / write speeds. In particular, eMMC uses sequential organization of read / write processes (Half Duplex), while UFS implements them simultaneously (Full Duplex).
Tumblr media
As a result, UFS is significantly faster and consumes less power. To date, three UFS versions have been released: - in 2011 - UFS 1.0 - bandwidth up to 300 MB / s; - 2013 - UFS 2.0 - bandwidth up to 1200 MB / s; - 2018 - UFS 3.0 - bandwidth up to 2900 MB / s. The UFS 2.0 / 2.1 and UFS 3.0 support two-band mode (2-lane or dual lane), which doubles the maximum bit rate due to the use четырех каналов (2 write + 2 read). As a consequence, testing UFS 2.1 vs eMMC 5.1 demonstrated 150/750 MB / s (write / read) and 100/280 MB / s, respectively.
AMOLED display
As known, in 2010 Samsung first introduced the Galaxy S smartphone with Super AMOLED (Active Matrix Organic Light-Emitting Diode) display.
Tumblr media
Unfortunately, its image quality was significantly inferior to the IPS matrices that Samsung successfully produced for other companies, including Apple. At the same time, the company continued to use PLS (Plane-to-Line Switching) matrices in its own smartphones. But since 2010, Samsung has focused on this new technology. Today, the South Korean giant dominates the mobile OLED display segment. Over the years, the company has expanded the range of AMOLED versions, while eliminating their characteristic problems. For example, PenTile, Pixel Shifting and parallax backgrounds have virtually eliminated the problem of blue pixel burnout. Today, the company uses Super AMOLED, Super AMOLED Plus, HD Super AMOLED and Dynamic AMOLED. Super AMOLED and HD Super AMOLED differ only in the number of sub-pixels and, accordingly, size.
Tumblr media
Dynamic AMOLED is Super AMOLED with HDR10 support. Today, Samsung phones use both types of matrices, for example, in the Samsung Galaxy A series of 2019.
Conclusion
Today the company offers Galaxy A, J, S, C and M series, Galaxy Note and Galaxy Fold with a flexible screen. A huge assortment of Samsung phones allows any consumer to easily choose the optimal phone in any price segment, depending on preferences and budget. Reliability, excellent technical service, high quality components, including a high-performance Exynos processors, gorgeous Dinamic AMOLED displays with HDR10 support, fast UFS memory, the convenient One UI and the multifunctional S Pen stylus in Galaxy Note ensure their high competitiveness. In addition, the company is actively continuing to develop innovative technologies. The DeX mode, infrared fingerprint sensor, the recognition of the iris and Galaxy Fold, perfectly illustrates this aspect. Apparently, folding smartphones may become one of the directions for their further improvement. This video offers a side by side comparison of the folding Motorola Razr vs Galaxy Fold. Redmi Note 9 Pro Review The price for the Redmi Note 9 is evaluated at Rs.11,999 In India. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Xiaomi made an immense sprinkle in the Indian market prior this year with the Redmi Note 9 Pro and the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Xiaomi has coordinated the shade of the unique finger impression scanner with the polished completion of the camera module, which makes it difficult to spot from a good ways. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Redmi Note 9 determinations and programming: New equipment, normal, worn-out understanding The Redmi Note 9 is currently the section point for the Note 9 arrangement, and Xiaomi has picked the MediaTek Helio G85 for this model. Google Pixel phones Review
Of course, today innovative technologies are the dominant trend in the consumer electronics segment. This process began with the digital revolution at the end of the last century. As a result, colossal consumer demand stimulates fierce competition, forcing market leaders to actively develop new technologies. In fact, innovative technologies have become a necessary requirement for the competitiveness of any technically sophisticated device. Today, even relatively simple devices, including Samsung Dual Cook Flex Oven, Hurom H-AI self-feeding slow juicer, bladeless Dyson Pure Cool Purifying Tower Fan, etc actively use innovative solutions. But most clearly it manifests itself in high-tech devices, including PCs, TVs, projectors, etc. Of course, a modern phone leads in this list. In fact, the modern smartphone has become a universal pocket PC with fairly high-quality media functions, including a camera, projector, etc. For example, companies already offer projector mobile phones with a projector function, including the very popular Blackview MAX 1 Projector Mobile Phone. Moreover, modern multi-camera phones provide excellent quality shooting in almost any environment. In fact, functionality has become one of the main criteria when choosing a smartphone.
Google phones
Of course, Google, one of the innovative leaders, did not want to stay away. In 2010, the company introduced the Nexus series. These models were produced by various companies, including HTC, Samsung, LG, Huawei, Motorola, etc. As a result, almost identical models had different names: - HTC Desire - Google Nexus One; - Samsung Galaxy S - Google Nexus S; - Samsung Galaxy S3 - Google Galaxy Nexus; - LG Optimus G - Google Nexus 4; - LG G2 - Google Nexus 5. Ultimately, the company effectively solved this problem by abandoning the idea of smartphones for developers. In 2016, at a presentation in San Francisco, the company introduced its first Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones. And on September 21, 2017, Google announced an agreement with the Taiwanese HTC Corporation, which has been producing smartphones based on Windows Mobile (Microsoft) and Android since 2009. Of course, the OS is the main pros of this brand in terms of the availability of updates. For example, the latest Android Q (or Android 10) today is available only to owners of Pixel smartphones of all generations. Today, Google offers the most simple and clear classification of its phones in the range from the first to fourth generation in two modifications of the screen size. The first generation Pixel and Pixel XL use 5-inch and 5.5-inch Amoled displays with a resolution of Full HD (441ppi) and QHD (534ppi), 32 / 128GB, RAM 4 GB (LPDDR4) and a quad-core 64-bit ARMv8-a (2, 15 GHz + 1.6 GHz). Unfortunately, in December 2019 Google notified the termination of their support. Accordingly, their owners will not have access to further Android updates.
Pixel 2 and 2 XL, 3 and 3 XL, 3a and 3a XL
Already in October 2017 the company introduced the second generation of Pixel. They use a 5-inch Amoled with 1080 × 1920 resolution and a 6-inch P-OLED with 1440 × 2880 resolution. In addition, the models use Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 64 / 128GB and RAM 4 GB (LPDDR4). As known, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset has become top-end for 2017 smartphones. It uses 2 clusters, including 4 Kryo 280 (Cortex-A75) with a frequency of 2.45 GHz and energy efficient (4 Kryo 280 with a frequency of 1.9 GHz). Initially, the company supplied these models with Android 8.0, which was later updated to Android 9.0. In October 2018, the third generation was introduced, traditionally including the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL with Android 9.0 Pie. The company increased Amoled displays to 5.5 inch with 2160 × 1080 resolution and 6.3 inch with 2960 × 1440 resolution. In addition, Google upgraded the chipset to Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 (4 Kryo 385 (Cortex-A75) with a frequency of 2.8 GHz and energy-efficient 4 Kryo 385 with a frequency of 1.8 GHz). The memory has not changed (64 / 128GB, LPDDR4 RAM 4 GB). In addition, in May 2019, the company introduced the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL as the budget modification of the third version. They have the same cameras, a 5.6-inch (2220 × 1080) and 6-inch (2160 × 1080) Amoled display, but use the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 with 8 Kryo cores for mid-budget smartphones (2 Cortex-A75 with a frequency of 2.0 GHz and energy-efficient 6 Cortex-A55 with a frequency of 1.7 GHz).
Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL
On October 15, 2019, the company introduced its latest fourth generation, including the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL. These models are already running Android 10, using UFS 2.1 memory, a 5.7-inch screen with 2280 x 1080 resolution (444 ppi) and a 6.3-inch screen with 1440 x 3040 resolution (537 ppi). Smartphones support an Always-On display, automatic brightness control, color temperature adjustment, and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. This generation uses the 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 (Kryo 485 with a frequency of up to 2.84 GHz, 3 Kryo 485 with a frequency of up to 2.42 GHz, 4 Kryo 485 with a frequency of up to 1.78 GHz). In addition, the company has expanded RAM to 6 GB. The latest generation uses the voice-to-text, the live subtitles in any program, and built-in radar for gesture control (Motion Sense). In addition, the models support unlocking based on a 3D face map. But Google has better implemented this option compared to Apple. iPhone constantly scans the face and often locks the phone when changing the viewing angle or dim lighting. Pixel 4 determines the face much more reliable, regardless of lighting and viewing angle. In addition, it's faster even compared to Samsung. The innovative Motion Sense uses the Soli radar to detect movement without a camera. In fact, function provides only non-contact rewinding the tracks and videos in any programs, and adjusting the alarm volume. Apparently, in the future, the company will expand the Motion Sense functionality. Today it's available only in the USA and some European countries.
Key features
Today, experts most often note the following key features of new models. 1. Android without third party apps improves the correctness of work, but reduces the functionality. 2. The battery capacity of 2800 mAh and 3700 mAh is inferior to Samsung and Apple. Even with a small load, battery life does not exceed one day. 3. Failure from the fingerprint sensor is still perceived as a controversial decision. Apple was the first to refuse this option, but all Android smartphones continued to use it. Apparently, its relevance will finally be determined in the next few years. 4. Pixel 4 has a RAM of only 6 GB, compared with 8-12 GB in flagships of other companies. On the other hand, today many experts doubt the appropriateness of its further expansion. As known, RAM serves the core (Linux for Android), drivers and modules of core. In addition, RAM stores virtual files, data for IMEI and modem settings, and for graphics adapter operation. Modern OS reserves about 1 GB for these tasks. Multitasking for 5-7 apps requires about 700-900 MB. Launching new apps requires another 300-400 MB. Thus, even 3 GB RAM effectively ensure the phone operation in any mode. Maybe Google risked stopping the marketing race of ramp-up RAM.
Conclusion
Motion Sense, Soli radar, voice-to-text, live subtitles, etc allow the fourth generation of Pixel phones to claim a worthy place in the list of innovative leaders in 2019. But access to Android updates continues to be their main competitive advantage. However, the price / quality ratio of Pixel phones also corresponds to a fairly high level, allowing them to successfully compete in the market.
