I love playing FF14 and seeing a character name that's a Tales reference. So far I've met an Arche Klein, Yuri Lowell, and just ran a dungeon with a Gaius Outway.

Between the chaos of attending three conventions, a new relationship, getting a new apartment, getting a new car, and then getting a new job--sheesh, this took me a whopping year to finish and is by far the most complex piece of digital art I have done.

Featuring Gaius from Tales of Xillia 2, and OJ's original character, Marcus (Gaius and Muzét's child). For Gaius' design I wanted something that was mostly from Xillia 2, but blended elements of his Xillia 1 outfit as well.

Background and lineart were done in SAI. Character colors and effects were done in Adobe photoshop 7.
