one thing about me... i will never stop drawing women with beautiful big brown eyes
#and men also.#btw i find the tradition of veiling in arm/enian women's costume fascinating. specifically face covering#because usually it's associated with islamic tradition but arm/enians are christian#and while veiling in christian cultures is a widespread phenomenon *face* covering really isn't#arm\enians do not cover the face completely though. depending on the region it could be: 1) just the chin#2)chin up to the upper lip (it being visible over the cloth)#3)or up to the nose#i've only seen the nose being covered in iranian-arm\enian communities#and in like. 1 picture of a rural vaspurakan costume.#could this be the result of accommodating to the neighboring muslim communities?..#gahhh i wish i could speak arm\enian. i would read so much about this stuff...#english and russian language sources are not cutting it anymore 😔#wip#shut up april#too i guess. sorry for infodumping
