#gah! i now am simping for both Chris and Wesker

Okok so this isn’t really a request.. But what is your opinion on Wesker pretending to fall for a reader Chris has a crush on only to spite him. Then, once Wesker gets to know the reader himself he starts really having feelings for them.

Its been stuck in my brain for the past week and I need to know your opinion 👀

Hi, Wesker Anon!

Firstly, I hope you have a happy and safe new year! I'm sorry for the long post. I kinda got too invested in this 😂 I can't help but to like both Chris and Wesker.

Now back to the ask. I feel like that Wesker would do that. Especially if you're a rookie in S.T.A.R.S. At first glance. Wesker would hide his obvious flirtation towards you by saying something under the guise of "I'm simply just helping our rookie out, Chris."

Both he and Chris knows what he's doing. Wesker knows that Chris was attracted to you from the way the he interacts with you. Chris knows that Wesker is only doing this to spite him. The way both men constantly fight for your attention is almost comical for both you and Jill. Eventually, once the both of you (Wesker and you) are a thing and have been together for a while, Wesker would realize that he wasn't in this relationship to spite Chris anymore, but because of how much he actually loves and values you.

If we're talking about dbd! Wesker and Chris, this is a similar story. You were a survivor like Chris and you were always close to him to the point he would talk about his old Captain. Once Carlos, Rebecca, and Ada arrived in the fog, it was quick to assume that Wesker would be in the realm as well.

It was obvious to both the survivors and killers that you and the S.T.A.R.S agent were extremely close and people often would talk about how the both of you would make a cute couple. The first game against Wesker, He knew that Chris was soft for you due to how protective he was. (Taking hits for you, always being the one to unhook you.)

Seeing you caused Wesker to form an obsession with you in a way. He wants you because of the fact that you were that important to Redfield and because you often proved yourself a better fighter than he was led on at first. Once he gets to know you from both when he gives you Hatch and from other killers you've faced, Wesker's obsession grows more towards "I want to make them mine."
