Remus would either just wiggle however he feels or take the art of dance SERIOUSLY.

I feel like he’d get very competitive over DDR and Just Dance to the point where he would absolutely wipe the floor with any poor fool who questioned his ability.

The only thing he takes seriously and wants to be how it should is choreographed dance routines.

bro i was in a production of we will rock you one time and it was so funny i had to spend so much time at the places to only go on stage briefly twice per show and sing scuffed versions of the songs (the group i was a part of did a short version of one song near the beginning and one song at the beginning of act 2)

Bekker/Hernandez with James Bond - the attitude felt right for this. they looked slow or low energy for the 2nd half and had a big mishap on the spin - i think it was intended to be the CPom position, but they missed catching their ankles and had a fall. (more than half a dozen teams are doing this spin position already this season). scoring here very inflated - they got 108.76 even with the fall and the big issue on the spin

Lilah and Lewis - they stretched themselves, doing a slow section - i'm glad to see it. it does show why maybe they've avoided this kind of expression, because it isn't in their wheelhouse yet, but it gives room to grow. they're doing a new position in the straight line part of their combo lift. reusing an entry and position from one of their signature RoLis but turned it into a StaLi

them choosing Madonna, Gaga, and now Beyonce feels a bit like they're piggybacking on the popularity of those artists to reach the audience. they seem like the top team most likely to do a Taylor Swift RD next season. i'm cautiously 👍 on this FD though? the biggest thing missing for me right now is if you're going to do Crazy in Love, you need sexy, fierce power and to own the dancing and to really move, and there's not much of that attitude or a real sense of dance in the performance yet

there's more glide in the skating than before, though. her carriage is more open. still feels like they're not relating specifically to the music most of the time. there are things lined up rhythmically, but i don't see them listening in between. Lewis has choreo that Lilah doesn't, which has been true of other programs of theirs, too, and i'm not sure why - at this point she can probably do what he can? but she does look like she's thinking hard rather than moving to the music still

if they were #12 in the world, i'd be cheering. but there are still hiccups in this and they got 128.8 in August, and they're #1 in World Standing points heading into this season. so yay for them but also ice dance judging and where the world order stands 🙃👎
