Made some more of my weirdos in HeroForge! This time, fantasy gals.
Lodden Rhithron: sea nymph rogue turned cleric, longtime gal pal companion and adventuring partner of Queen Aelius Evenwind.
Zion Cogwright: tiefling bard anthropologist and studier of orcish culture turned illrigger of an orc deity/devil. Not very good at fighting yet, but she’ll get there!
Leda Damaris: granddaughter of Tiamat, Fist of the Forest druid, and doubly-retired adventurer. Recently went out in search of her kidnapped daughter and found her, so has gone back to her retirement plan of running a B&B and putting the “gay” in Geysur.
Gadget Qirie: orc/gnome/elf tinkerer and arcane engineer, chosen of Primus. Big, strong nerd who is bad at wisdom and lying, despite how many secrets she’s supposed to be keeping, but is good at fixin’ and being nice.

Another round of my TTRPG gals in this picrew; now featuring my neglected D&D characters! Boy do I have a lot of green and blue characters, oops. These are just a few.
Top left: Lodden Rhithron (sea nymph pirate, rogue turned cleric, 1/3rd of the world’s hottest throuple, frequent destroyer of ships). Top right: Gadget Qirie (orc/gnome/elf artificer, but a humble muscle dyke, inventor of fully sentient constructs and specialist of melding together nature, body, and technology). Bottom left: Ryla Anzar (tiefling of the Morrigan (she’s more of a calico-like pattern to blend into the wilderness but this was the best I could get!), witch and barbarian of Rashemen, sunshine gay who loves hugs, sparkly jewelry, talking to ghosts, and her big bear of a wife). Bottom right: Zion Cogwright (tiefling bard, top of her class until she got kicked out of college (for no good reason!), anthropologist who specializes in orc culture, somehow became the champion of an orcish devil who really likes battle despite barely being able to pick up her family longsword).

Any time I see a new picrew come across my dash, I have to make some of my OCs. It’s a problem.
Top row: Gadget Qirie (half-orc inventor babe), Ru Evenwind (half-elf/half-gnome sorcerer/tinkerer), Vanja Velikova (disturbed fetchling cleric/sorcerer) / Bottom: Jessica Macintyre (possessed cheerleader), Juniper Rosegrove (rainbow girl writer), Fallon Escamilla-Tao (social worker and mama)

4, 5, 9, 12 for Gadget, my dear :)
Thanks for the ask, my love.
4. Do they have any verbal tics? Do they have trouble pronouncing certain words or getting their thoughts across clearly?
She doesn’t have any tics, but when she’s very excited she talks really fast and sometimes lisps a little (which is my fault as the person who plays her, but I really like the idea of it being her too). As far as getting thoughts across clearly, well… she’s not the best at that haha. Her brain moves really fast when she’s on a roll, and she has pretty bad wisdom so she’s bad at gauging what people would know ahead of time when she’s trying to explain things. Sometimes she will need to be in the mindset of explaining the basics but she’s moved onto doctorate level tech talk and left everyone else in the dust. However, when it’s pointed out to her, she is able to simplify things down.
5. What are their chief tension areas?
Physically, definitely her neck and back. She spends a lot of time hunched over her tools, and she’s definitely a sloucher.
9. Does your character dream or are their nights filled with an empty blackness? Describe a dream they’ve had or a night they couldn’t sleep and what they did to preoccupy their time.
I think Gadget is the type who dreams almost every time she sleeps. The topic is usually something about inventing, and sometimes she’ll solve problems from her days of work while sleeping. Other times, she dreams of the stars: the infinite darkness filled with swirling colors and clockwork parts, the patterns of stars changing before her, constellations coming to life and reenacting the myths they are named after, and sometimes, an eye belonging to the universe itself winking at her.
12. Describe 5 unusual characteristics your muse has.
I don’t know if these are particularly unusual, but I’m going to list a few traits that are unique to her and that I find interesting. :)
Her chosen field of expertise is pretty advanced for its time already, but the work that she is doing, in particular, is extremely advanced. Even the forest gnomes haven’t quite worked out how to so delicately integrate magic and nature into a person yet, though that’s where her interest in the field started and who she studied under. The device built into her forearm is entirely of her own creation.
She has a little clockwork-mixed-with-nature construct in the form of a mouse that she created also, and it may or may not have limited sentience? She’s not really sure yet and hasn’t been able to replicate it. Oops.
She is super forgetful. She invented a device that is basically like an alarm to remind her of things she has to do, but it doesn’t specify what she’s supposed to be remembering yet, so she’s still pretty lost most of the time.
Gadget was born with a mark on her neck in the shape of a cog that could be mistaken for a tattoo, except if you look carefully, it turns slowly. Until recently, she had no idea what it meant.
She has fun hair! One might think that she dyes it, but the streaks of teal and yellow among the light green are just from her gnomish heritage. It’s adorable.

In other news: I played a little bit of my half-orc/half-gnome arcane engineer, Gadget, today to get a better handle on her character before she joins a group campaign and honestly?? I’m so in love with her, she’s a blast to play. I can’t post much about what happened because it’s spoilers for the group BUT SHE’S SO CUTE
I’ve always wanted to try my hand at the ADHD/autistic-coded scientist trope because I hate how it’s done a lot of the time (like ugh why do writers have to do autistic-coded characters so fucking dirty??), and I think I’m doing a pretty good job at it so far? I’m drawing inspo from both me and my girlfriend for her and it’s going well. She’s a huge dork who is obsessed with her projects and wants to use them to help people, even if she isn’t the best at dealing with them.
The guild that she’s in gives her all of the jobs that are too weird to put on the notice board and she loves it. Her two last jobs: glowing chicken and investigating an entire constellation going missing and driving people a little crazy. Totally normal. Nothing to worry about.

9, 14, 19, 22, 29, and 46 for Gadget, my love
Thanks for the ask. 💕
9. What about political beliefs?
Politics have never been a huge focus for Gadget except for the gross racism towards orcs in her continent, but even that isn’t nearly as bad where she grew up in Middleter as it is in the neighboring country of Killkurst. She trusts the politicians of Middleter to get the job done so she doesn’t have to worry about it.
14. Were they involved at school? Sports? Clubs? Debate? Were they unconnected?
She was probably part of some sort of arcane club? She might have been interested in joining a sports team too (she’s secretly a little bit of a jock lmao) but it would have gotten in the way of her experiment time, so she probably would have quit almost immediately.
19. What were your character’s deepest disillusions? In life? What are they now?
I don’t think she really has any? Gadget is super optimistic.
22. Who are their friends? Lovers? ‘Type’ or ‘ideal’ partner?
Gadget’s closest friends are Mech (her “rival” and fellow half-orc inventor), Ubati and Cleo (her fake moms), Ella Steamdrop (a gnome gal in town), Elroy MacGriffin (local shop owner, also an inventor), and Amoren Vallesco (morally ambiguous magical scientist).
As far as lovers, she hasn’t had a whole lot of lovers despite being a bit of a flirt– it’s hard to meet people that will stick around as an adventurer. Her and Ren get together sometimes but it’s not serious at all, they mostly just like to make science and kiss lmao. I think her last kind of serious thing was a few months ago with a new member of the guild before she got relocated, and even that was pretty brief. Her friend-crush on Mech will probably never come of anything. So yeah, we’ll see what happens in game I suppose?
For her type, she mostly just likes ladies who are nice to her and treat her with respect, bonus points if she can talk about her interests with them and they aren’t weirded out by her talking mouse construct friend haha. She doesn’t really care about race or looks too much, though I love the idea of her ending up with someone way taller than her. :’) It would be adorable.
29. What is your character’s weaknesses? Hubris? Pride? Controlling?
Her lack of wisdom is probably a big weakness; she doesn’t always pay total attention to what she’s doing and what the consequences will be. (Example: seeing something around and being like “oh, I need that!” and walking away with it without noticing that she’s stealing lmao.) She’s also pretty anxious by nature, and a tad obsessive and compulsive.
46. Is your character tall? Short? What about size? Weight? Posture? How do they feel about their physical body?
She’s 5′3″, so she’s tall for a gnome, short for an elf, and slightly shorter than the average orc. She’s got that +4 to strength muscle but she’s not thin, she’s built to take a hit and pack a punch. For posture, she is a sloucher who doesn’t think about posture at all unless someone’s bugging her and telling her she’s going to fuck up her back haha.
As far as what she feels about her body, I think mostly she views it in terms of functionality. Dumb modern societal standards of beauty don’t factor in so she’s confident in herself because her body works the way she wants it to, and is built to do a job. She’s a babe and she knows it!

Oooohh, 🖊+ Gadget?
Thanks for the ask. :)
Fun fact about Gadget: she has a “rival” named Mech, who is a fellow half-orc who studied under the same teacher. Originally I was going to have them kind of be frenemies but I realized that I didn’t like the idea of putting these two cool ladies against each other in anything more than them casual competing against each other to see who can finish their Grand Scheme projects first. Mech’s specialty (medicine technology) is different than Gadget’s (constructs and blending nature and technology) and vice versa but they overlap a bit, so whenever they need help in an area that isn’t quite theirs they go to the other. It’s really friendly, despite the fact that they constantly jokingly do the “I’m watchin’ you!” motion every time they see each other haha. They lowkey have huge crushes on each other and it’s highkey adorable.

3, 9, 13, and 16 for the oc rivals
Thanks for the ask. :) I’m gonna do this for the two categories of my OCs (video game vs RPG characters) so it’s easier to compare.
3. Most humble VS Most arrogant
VG: Letha Shepard is the most humble, Leven Hawke is the most arrogant
RPG: Vela Warders is the most humble, and Caerellia Asperanas is probably the most arrogant, with Elen Arel and Gadget Qirie as a close second
9. Darkest backstory VS Lightest Backstory
VG: Ro Shepard has the darkest, Sara Ryder probably has the lightest
RPG: Kit Wright and Renna Hezal have the darkest backstories (they’re so dystopian because of the setting), and Gadget Qirie probably has the lightest because she’s led a pretty “normal” and happy life
13. Most forgiving VS Most grudgeful
VG: Aden Brosca is the most forgiving, Elera Lavellan is the most grudgeful
RPG: Rowan Orda is the most forgiving because she’s an innocent little neutral good cleric, Caerellia Asperanas and Kara Avasdottir know how to hold a grudge until the day they die
16. Most secretive VS Most open
VG: Elera Lavellan is the most secretive because she doesn’t trust people, Ioren Lavellan and Ben Shepard the most open
RPG: Elixaris Iloeni is the most secretive (lmao that bitch lives her life as someone else and keeps secrets for a living), and Ru Evenwind is the most open because she’s never really had to keep secrets

🗡️ for Caerellia and Gadget
Caerellia Asperanas
Raw power: ★★★★★
Formal Training: ★★★★
Combat experience: ★★★
Willingness to kill: ★★★★★
Previous victims: ★★★
Caerellia is the Champion of one of the most powerful beings in existence and grew up being trained in both magic and a bit of combat, so she’s pretty fucking dangerous. Her experience is limited, but she’s very willing to kill people under the right circumstances, if it’s the right thing to do, and her list of victims is always growing. (For reference: She recently went into a town that a group of shitty pirate slavers took over and killed literally every fucking one of them. Also she’s currently rounding up the r*pists in her home city and is preparing to kill them all publicly, in the streets, as examples. So, she’s definitely not averse to killing bad people lmao she honestly kind of enjoys it)
Gadget Qirie
Raw power: ★★
Formal Training: ★★★★★
Combat experience: ★★★
Willingness to kill: ★★
Previous victims: ★★
Gadget’s abilities are primarily utility rather than used for combat but she does have quite a bit of formal training and combat experience from her time with the Gilded Oak. If she is put into a fight, she knows how to win and has the ability to. But she isn’t really the killing type, especially in regards to humanoids that she isn’t sure deserve it. She wants to help people before anything.
Send 🗡️ and I will rate my OC’s danger level in several category in a number of stars out of 5.

Another batch from this Picrew! I really wanted to do my gals for the group campaign I’m.
Left: Leda Damaris, fist of the forest druid and Tiamat tiefling. Leda is a formerly-retired adventurer that recently set out again to look for her daughter, who was kidnapped by a freedom fighting group called the Takers as retaliation for Leda and her wife’s involvement with a group set out to counter them and free the people they take. She’s going through it right now and really just wants to find her daughter so she can go back home to her inn and never leave again.
Right: Gadget Qirie (pronounced like “query”), arcane engineer (homebrew class) and half-orc/gnome/elf. She is an inventor and a scientist who is currently working on ways to fuse natural and druidic magic with technology. Though terribly unwise and extremely bad at lying, she’s incredibly intelligent, and has a seemingly natural knack for creating constructs and various devices that can help in her endeavors. Unfortunately for her, she has a lot of secrets to keep, and that doesn’t seem to be something that technology can help her with.

23, 24, and 28 for Gadget :)
23.What is your OC’s favorite nice thing to do for themselves?
Sometimes when she’s had a bad day, she curls up in a bubble bath with hot cocoa and takes out this little device she made that magically projects the galaxy onto her ceiling. She can sit there and watch them for hours, and it’s the only time her brain isn’t moving at 100 miles per hour.
24.How does your OC determine that they’re attracted to someone?
Usually the first sign to her unwise brain is something like “oh I bet it would be nice to kiss that little freckle on her neck, wouldn’t it? Oh wait that’s a little weird, why am I thinking—oh, I like her.” But Gadget is pretty easy: if she meets a lady who isn’t a huge jerk and treats her with respect, she’s probably going to have a little bit of a crush.
28.What is something unconventional that your OC thinks is romantic?
Science!! Specifically, doing science together. Being in the same field as her isn’t a prerequisite for Gadget developing feelings for someone, but if they can? Science dates are peak romance to her.

I'm curious to hear more about your Entrapta inspired OC!
The more I think of it, she’s just kinda based on the archetype that Entrapta fits into: obsessive inventor/engineer type who is super smart but not all that wise and is easily distracted unless they’re focusing on their Thing. It’s one of my favorite character tropes and I am probably going to have a blast playing her, so it’s about time I made an OC like this. Anyway, I posted a little bit about her the other day, but here are the basics!
Her name is Gadget, and she’s half-orc/half-gnome, with a little bit of elf mixed in there because she’s from a super cosmopolitan city. Her skill set is a perfect blend of her ancestry: she’s an arcane engineer, so she blends magic and technology like gnomes but focuses on natural/druidic magic like orcs and elves. She’s a rock gnome herself but she got the idea from a visit to a forest gnome colony when she was a kid and has been obsessed with it ever since. As part of her class, she has an enviromechanical device built into her forearm that helps sustain her and that she is always upgrading. Eventually, it will be able to photo-synthetically heal her and enhance her stats.
Some cool extra stuff: She was born with the knowledge of how to make machines; she doesn’t know exactly where it comes from, but she has had a mark on her throat shaped like a cog since she was a kid that could be mistaken for a tattoo if you don’t notice that it is slowly turning at all times. (OoOOoOooOooo plot related mystery!) The main thing that she has always known how to make is little constructs that count as familiars. Her current one is a little rat that is made of blend of nature and machine, and she uses it to a) spy on people and b) throw stones at people in combat. :’) It’s adorable.
