- UA is basically Sky High but with a higher budget and lower altitude

chapter 2: get ripped or die trying

- understandable

- the longer all dad’s neck gets, the more his power grows

- that feeling when your hero says you can hero

- all dad wants his newly adopted son to follow in his footsteps and inherit his powers a couple of hours after meeting him

- which i get because it’s only been one chapter and i would already die for this child

- so all might decided to keep the origin of his powers a secret so people wouldn’t know he used to be a muggle

- i wonder if there are shipping wars in universe

...So I finally gave in and I’m selling what is left of my soul to another long running shonen cause why not. 

I will attempt to do a weekly review of the manga for those who are interested and to organize my thoughts. Before we start, a couple of things:

- I will need some time to get used to the names since there are so many characters, so I will switch back and forth between nicknames, code names and actual names (I still don’t know if people favour first or last names so I’ll use both

- I’m rusty af when it comes to the review business so I apologize in advance

- I already know all the spoilers cause duh I would spoil my own death if I could, so don’t be afraid of spoiling me of anything, chances are I already know and if I don’t I won’t mind.

Izuku Midoriya Begins 

i do love a good origin story

- our hero and narrator Izuku Midoriya, who I have just adopted, in your obligatory shonen hero vs bully scene

- ah there he is, the angry pomeranian

- i know he gets character development later but still... hurting deku is like kicking a puppy, look at him

- so this is a cross between x-men, sky high, the incredibles and high school anime

- so like a crossover fic, but well written

- deku reminds me a lot of sena from eyeshield 21 please go read it and that is nice we need more wholesome sweet main characters like these

- Izuku’s reaction to a giant shark faced dude destroying town is glee and I have to say i relate

- nothing to see here except giant monsters and abs

- i actually spent a couple of seconds wondering where the baby was then another couple trying to stop laughing

- please tell me somebody has written fic of lumibaby

- ok so powers can go from the useful if not flashy (like turning pages), to the fantastical (instant frostbite yay) to nightmarish (now your face is poltergeist meets hellfire, congrats!)

- so lumibaby was the beggining of the golden age of superheroes

- see bakugou this is what happens when you are a gigantic asshole, you get captured by the villain of the episode

- none of the heroes have quirks that can help and all might has reached his limit, who will save the day now

- i’m sad when he’s sad, so i predict i’m gonna need a lot of tissues in the future

- bakugou’s “IS NOT LIKE I’M THANKFUL U SAVED MY ASS OR ANYTHING” kinda reminds me of vegeta

- so... how many times is he gonna have to eat crow?

- if they ever make a live action, i will only accept terry crews as all might

- dad might was inspired by deku who was inspired by dad might and they are so cute, i hope they adopt each other
