Favourite Naruto moments: Gaara of the Desert saves Rock Lee from Kimimaro

So this year, I started watching the anime "Naruto" for the very first time in my late 20s. As a young girl, the whole Naruto hype actually never got to me but this year's spring I suddenly had the urge to finally give it a shot since so many people told me that I should.

And OH BOY! What shall I say? ;) The character stories are REALLY great and since I'm already a bit older I can relate to so many things this anime thematizes like being bullied for acting "different" than others, getting mocked for being chubby, the constant pressure of having to be perfect as well the crucial pain of loneliness and feeling like an outcast.

Gaara and Lee belonged quickly to my favourite characters in Naruto. Cause Lee is funny and full of enthusiasm while Gaara is just so cool and mysterious, I really adore both. Since I'm quite into shipping, I already knew before that they are a quite popular pairing among the Naruto fans. I actually never understood why but after watching the episodes where they fight against Kimimaro, I can SO see the appeal of this ship now!😍😍😍

Cause as a viewer, you have to keep in mind that Gaara always just fought for himself in the past. After this tragic and absolutely horrific incident with his uncle Yashamaru, he never let anyone close to him again and only cared about his own well-being. So this is actually the very first time Gaara uses his powers to protect someone besides himself! Gaara also remembers his fight with Lee during the Chunin exams where he severely hurt his legs which looks to me like he feels slightly guilty about it. So you can say that Gaara actually goes through a HUGE emotional character development here which makes this scene so much more greater in my opinion!^^

But Lee is also quite amazing in this sequence!^.^ Cause you gotta remember that after his fight with Gaara he was that badly hurt that he almost had to end his path of becoming a shinobi. If Tsunade hadn't arrived in Konoha right on time, his life probably would have turned out quite grey and depressive. Still, he went through a very hard and dark time before his operation. But does he yell or insult Gaara for any of this? No, he does not. Instead, he actually says to his face that "he doesn't hold a grudge" and this actually went straight to my kokoro cause Lee is just TOO precious!😍

Just the whole gentleness and care from Gaara in this very scene is SO adorable and definitely let me become a GaaLee shipper too😉

I can relate tbh. As odd as it sounds, I used to feel the same way about Gaara from Naruto when I was growing up. One day, you're going to find your Levi. I promise <3.

My boyfriend (my irl Gaara) pointed out that rivetra is my "security blanket" as he calls it (a.k.a my emotional support pairing). Levi has also become quite the pillar in my life as well. He (and AOT in general) has helped me through some of the most difficult times in my adult life. But the Selkie Tragic Backstory ™ is for another day.

The Software I use is called Miku Miku Dance (or MMD) and there are a ton of tutorials on how to use it at www.learnmmd.com . It's really easy to learn and you can get the models from deviantart.com. Be warned though, it's a live-render 3D animation software so your CPU will NOT like it.

It means so much to me that you guys love the skits and my old youtube videos, though. It feels good knowing I'm not just throwing stuff out into the void of the internet like I used to.

Size queens:

Naruto - This man should be feared. Not only can he and will he take a bad dragon dildo, he considers it a normal Tuesday afternoon. He loves being stretched beyond belief, so if his alpha can do that without a ridiculous dildo, then he's 😍. It helps that he always wakes up the next morning totally fine, Kurama's powers healing him up automatically. There's no awkward limp or soreness. He also has no gag reflex. I meant it when I said he should be feared.

Kakashi - He's really not going to be too upset if his alpha doesn't have a massive cock, but man does he love it if they do. He has a pretty big one too, and he wants his alpha to be bigger than him ideally. Kakashi can take a lot and he really loves being absolutely wrecked. It's also a favourite small punishment of his to have insufficient prep. He likes the burn.

Those that enjoy a big dick, but not too big:

Kiba - He's too feral to wait for prep, so he can't take anything too big. That being said, he likes the stretch, he likes the aesthetic, he likes having a lot to worship. Likes being face fucked too, and a big dick makes that experience, He's a size queen at heart, but realistically, he's one category down because he's too horny for a massive dick, he'd probably hurt himself.

Kankuro - He feels both second hand (his alpha having a big dick) and first hand (he can take it) pride in this situation. Those that prefer an average size:

Sasuke - Sasuke has a bit of a size kink in that he likes to be manhandled by someone stronger than him, but as far as the dick part goes, he's not really bothered. He likes the aesthetics of his alpha having a dick bigger than his, but too big and it's just annoying and gets in the way because there's too much prep required.

Shino - He was scared enough about sex, anything that makes it less intimidating is the best thing for him.

Lee - Ultimately, he'd never state a preference, and he'd take whatever his alpha had with 100% love... That being said, if he could somehow pick, he'd like one that's a little smaller. You try running the village 10 times at 5 AM after being stretched out by a massive dick.

Gaara - Smaller dicks are more convenient and they just feel right to him. Like, they make him smile, I can't explain why.

For me I’m just happy to read something that’s from Kishimoto’s brain. And also I hope you are able to notice the panel of Minato and Kushina that is similar to Naruto and Sasuke’s panel in the bridge scene. It just makes me 😊❤️😍 knowing that Kishimoto is still hinting on SNS.

Hi Nonee, 💕 I love it so much, it had everything I could've wished for tbh. It certainly had a sense of.. Kishimoto needing to say something through storytelling regarding not just Minato and Kushina, but also his writing and romance. Otherwise, why the focus on that in particular? Why such a major contrast regarding romance in Gaiden and Minato Gaiden? He isn't a fool, he is a genius writer, he's always been even before 'Naruto'. I don't understand why people think only now he's able to write romance. He was able to before and he was able to during 'Naruto', just not for the couples that were forced. Why? Because he values his art and the man has his own personal principles. And I respect that. I also love how he kept in touch with the 'Naruto' themes and expanded further upon Kushina's words to Naruto when they were able to talk. He just connected those dots and created an entire backstory for it. I don't think people realize how difficult that is to do and how amazingly creative it is to do it in such a way to stay true to everything he held onto before. He cares a lot and you can tell. This is exactly why all the filler bullshit franchise novels which aren't even made by him hold zero meaning because the contrast is insane. And it isn't just Naruto. Gaara and Killer Bee also had to fill themselves with love one way or another to 'overcome' that hatred/a failed history that eventually led to hatred as vessels. Gaara had the love of his mother, Killer Bee had his 'brother' and Naruto had his 2 suns.

So I don't think that was just hinted at SNS, it was a reoccurring Theme, however, it has also been made clear that Naruto's strength is Sasuke, his drive and reason several times to create a new Jutsu and become stronger. To be compatible with Sasuke's fire which in turn got more fiery as the story went on. Love is a parallel used in 'Naruto' which comes in many forms, not one of them is the same, but the fact that Naruto and Sasuke were each other's one and only sources of several, and in many cases, only motivations towards action says more than any of the dialogue. Kishimoto clearly shows what he sees as mutual love and what he values. Minato loved Kushina so much that he wanted to protect her and created a Jutsu which Naruto also benefitted from;

Minato didn't want to lose Kushina. And Naruto never gave up on the Sasuke he felt he knew despite the outside change and what people told him, despite everything around them, he kept developing his Jutsu while having faith that one day he could fight together with Sasuke. Minato fought for Kushina, but so did she try to convince him to stay alive. Sasuke sacrificed himself for Naruto because that's just how his body reacts, cushioning his falls, unlocking stages of his eyes, prioritizing Naruto's life while saying otherwise during the War arc, while Naruto spend his years stressing about Sasuke's safety and hating Orochimaru. Leaking Kyubi's Chakra in different ways from other times simply because... Sasuke. Wanting to protect the one you love makes you stronger is another Theme. It makes you not give up regardless of outside circumstances (plot). It exists inside of you, which was depicted in this one-shot, but for SNS several times too. They have their special place. And so did Minato and Kushina;

I'm not one to work on multiple projects at once so I'll include my ideas for later projects and old projects that I intend to translate into English....

Current WIP : Brianna Fraser/Stephen Bonnet drama/comedy fic, 7 chapters are done so far and I'm having a lot of fun.

Ideas :

- MOAR Brianna/Stephen fics of course, i have several ideas of long fics

- I'm also thinking about writing Naruto fics about my Kings Gaara and Deidara, and of course my Queen Sakura but I'm quite new to this fandom so I'm still struggling with plot details cuz I don't wanna screw up 🙈

Translations :

- I started translating my Far Cry 3 fiction cuz I absolutely love it and I also love Vaas (another pirate, seems like I have a type, guys)

- And I'm also thinking - MAYBE - I could translate some of my old Dramione fics but I've left the HP fandom 4 years ago and I still don't know if I'll ever join back, so wait and see....
