Hi! Just wanted to thank you for your greys recap—specifically calling Schmitt out?? Like I keep looking on sm or reviews but no one else has. As someone w OCD/germaphobia it honestly really bothered me to see him not get called out on the show or otherwise?? I’ve never been more seen by a character and she just was treated so poorly by him. I just felt bad that her fear was barely seen...you know?

Yeah, honestly, I was hoping Hunt would kick Schmitt off the case or something, especially since he literally had to physically restrain Schmitt in order to get him to stop distressing his patient. But as soon as the patient agreed to leave the plane, Schmitt was forgiven?? which makes no sense?? Like wtf. The whole scene just left a bad taste in my mouth.

Also, yeah, you’re right – it just completely undermined her agoraphobia. For a show that prides itself on its sensitive portrayal of these things, I’m surprised they wrote the script this way.
