https://www.facebook.com/DoorsBand/ El 01 de febrero de 1970 se lanza el album de la banda de Blués-Rock, Rock-Psicodélico, Rock-Acido THE DOORS llamado ''Morrison Hotel''. Es el quinto álbum de estudio de la banda de rock estadounidense The Doors, publicado en 1970. Ya que su anterior trabajo, The Soft Parade, no fue muy bien recibido por el público, la banda decidió regresar a un estilo marcadamente blues. Además, las letras se hacen más desenfadadas, aunque el toque Morrison sigue haciendo que resulten complejas. En esta misma línea, grabarán su siguiente disco, L.A. Woman, el último de estudio en el que participó Jim Morrison. Es un álbum de marcado carácter conceptual con un amplio diferencial entre las dos caras del disco: la cara A, llamada Hard Rock Cafe, que contiene desde "Roadhouse Blues" hasta "Ship Of Fools" y la cara B, Morrison Hotel, desde "Land Ho!" hasta "Maggie M'Gill". Del título de la cara A tomó su nombre la cadena de restaurantes Hard Rock Cafe. Destaca también la colaboración de los bajistas Ray Neopolitan y Lonnie Mack en "Roadhouse Blues", además de John Sebastian, bajo el alias G. Puglese. La fotografía de la portada se debe a Henry Diltz y su diseño a Gary Burden. En el Perception Box Set de 2006, The Doors remasterizan toda su discografía. Cada álbum incluye algunos "bonus tracks".
