DSP Media’s co-ed group, KARD decided to make their official debut in mid-July and is currently doing preparation for it.

According to the officials, KARD will make their formal debut and meet the fans through music shows next month, seven months since their first single “Oh NaNa” which released last December.

They have finished recording the title song and is currently in debut preparation process. On last May, it was revealed that they filmed their title MV in Los Angles and Las Vegas.

Consisted by BM, J.Seph, Jeon Somin and Jeon Jiwoo, KARD is DSP Media’s co-ed group that announce their music by making headlines with presenting their debut projects to public.

‘Oh Nana’, ‘Don’t Recall’, and ‘Rumor’, all the last single project got well reviews from public, through this ‘masterpiece maker’ KARD successfully creates the new foundation of one top co-ed group generation.

KARD is selected as Top 5 of Kpop Artist that is need to be anticipated in 2017 by the U.S Billboard, also got invited to do recent overseas performances in the U.S, Canada, and Brazil with performance tour under named ‘Wild Kard’ tour.

‘Oh Nana’ and ‘Don’t Recall’ music videos on YouTube breakthrough the record by millions views, also the third song ‘Rumor’ is topped the list of iTunes Kpop chart in 13 countries, such as the U.S, Argentina, Brazil, Vietnam, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, El Salvador, Chile, New Zealand, Australia, and Bolivia.

Co-ed group, KARD, announced that they will make their official debut on July. DSP Media representative was confident about the title song part. DSP Media representative also said that the title song remains confidential. 

DSP Media KARD’s official said on Ilgan Sport “KARD finally makes comeback on July. KARD have recorded their debut title song also on the last May and they also finished their music video recording on the U.S Las Vegas and Los Angeles” also revealed “Make sure KARD will make a perfect official debut.” KARD had worked their debut project started on the last December. Before the official debut, from ‘Oh Nana’ ‘Don't Recall’ until ‘Rumor’, through the three songs were presented KARD started making their name known to public. Especially ‘Oh Nana’ when KARA’s member Heo Youngji became the hidden card, caught many eyes and attention. 

Despite the debut project without particular activities, not only received high praise from the general public but also from the critics. As a result, they started receiving many overseas love call even before their debut. Recently they successfully wrapped up their North and South America Tour and on the next August they got such a rare opportunity and got invited to attend Summer Sonic Festival in Japan. In addition, the last song that was released on February, ‘Don't Recall’ music video has reached 23 million views on YouTube, makes it hard to believe that they are still a rookie. 

Unlike the conventional idol group, it is interesting fact that KARD is a co-ed group. The group is consisted of two male members and two female members, BM, Jseph, Jeon Somin, and Jeon Jiwoo. With this they continue the legacy of the last co-ed group such as Roo’ra, Cool, Koyote, and Typhoon. Although almost of the co-ed group emphasized the exciting dance song, KARD is different. Based on the trendy EDM, it is creating a gust overseas. KARD applied Dance Hall genre that comes from Jamaica on their song and combined it with choreography to boost up the attractiveness of the groove. 

Kpop strength is adding a trendy and visual performance. As a result, KARD only established the new field. In relation to this, DSP Media representative said “overseas respond is more passionate meanwhile in the country it becomes a fresh track.” Also the DSP Media representative confidently said that “the members have an excellent producing ability is the reason for them to have high chance of development. The last presented predebut songs also received so much love from public. Even more the title track have such a high quality. And please look forward it.”

On a V App broadcast, singer KARD (BM, Jseph, Jeon Somin, Jeon Jiwoo) appeared and mentioned about their overseas tour.

Previously on that day, KARD members expressed their excitement and said that overseas tours turned out and completed very well and it was such a nice, exciting and heart fluttering experience.

Later on, KARD let the fans know about their impressions of overseas fans on their tour. They also said that there are these five places in total of their tour, Vancouver, Chicago, Houston, LA, and Toronto. The first starting place is Vancouver. Since they did well,  they thought they can also do the rest of performances well. Without holding back their excitement they also said that the fans uproar is no joke and it is also an electrifying experience for them.

KARD members also shared how a lot of people in Chicago watched the performance while sitting but everyone got up and enjoyed all together from beginning to end of performance. They also expressed their unique experiences “that time is the first time I performed wearing sleeveless shirt, but the cheering sounds is too good, also Chicago performance stage is so impressive.” Especially when Jiwoo said “it was very slippery because I wore slippers but Jseph always hold on me. Until we go, he keeps bragging in front of the fans that he saved me.” and the whole stories left the members burst into laughter.

Moreover, when they performed in Houston, “most of the fans came here. We are still a rookie but we were surprised that there were so many people came.” They also show their appreciation to the fans, “we were impressed when we heard the cheering sounds even we could not hear the earpiece.”

The last is BM’s hometown, LA. They showed their closeness there and revealed that they met BM’s parents and had meals together. They also said “BM resembles his father much and BM’s mother is such a beauty.” The LA performance was so much fun.  They said, “because the lighting was too strong we could not make eye contact to all of the fans but we cannot forget the last event when all the fans turned on their phone flash and shone them, the glow of the light is extremely beautiful.” they said with a lot emotion in their words.

Not only that, KARD’s members also said “Because we have pressed the first start button very well, we are sure we can do better on the next performances, please count on it.” And they also revealed they already have Korean activities planned and effort to have Korean Tour, add another expectations from the fans.

The four member rookie coed group, KARD (KARD, BM, Jseph, Jeon Somin, and Jeon Jiwoo) is continuously going strong on top 3 of American Bilboard World Digital Song Sales chart for two weeks in a row.

This May 10th 2017, according to the most influential album sales record, US billboard chart, KARD’s 3rd debut project ‘Rumor’ is set on 3rd place ‘World Digital Song Sales’ chart (chart dated May 20th). Hereby, in this verge of week KARD is still showing their strength on the 3rd place US Billboard World Digital Song Sales. 

US Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart is based on the singers’ sales outside US, worldwide digital awards, sales, and so on. 

Today, KARD’s 2nd debut project ‘Don’t Recall’ music video reached 20,000,000 views on KARD’s official YouTube channel. Also, the 3rd debut project music video ‘Rumor’ is expected to surpass 7,000,000 in short time. 

Even though KARD does not take their real first step in music industry yet, KARD is currently preparing their debut. These days, people is looking forward for another notable overseas achievement. KARD is planning to debut this summer.

The rookie coed group KARD’s (BM, Jseph, Jeon Somin, and Jeon Jiwoo) extraordinary overseas popularity.

KARD held their first stage of ’Wild Kard Tour 2017’ on May 3rd at 8 pm (PDT) in HARBOUR ENENT CENTRE, Vancouver, Canada. Despite the heavy rain on the venue, the local fans were still excited and showing their anticipation over KARD stage since early in the morning.

As soon as the concert began, KARD’s latest title song ‘RUMOR’ was played on the stage and the fans went wild. Followed by performance of their successful project songs, ‘Oh Na Na’ and ‘Don’t Recall’, loud cheer and applause broke in the hall. It did not end just like that. Beside spectating the amazing performance, the fans can also interact with the members through a series of festive events which has been prepared for the fans. With this, KARD wrapped up their first stage successfully.

In addition, on May 4th it was announced that KARD made their debut at 3rd place in US Billboard ‘World Digital Song Chart’ for the chart dated May 13th, 2017. They proved their solid popularity by contributing the best selling song among every Korean act within the chart of the week.

A week before, on April 24th, KARD released their last pre-debut project song title ‘RUMOR’ which is an EDM Dancehall song. ‘RUMOR’ was placed on 41st in iTunes rank chart. The music video itself has reached 5.5 million views.*) Every song they released so far has been continuously receiving great response.

KARD had showcased their 3rd debut project as well as showing the last hidden card which is a fancy large-scale and colorful performance video after a monochromatic original video. The video was released on May 1st as ‘Project Vol.3 Rumor’ through KARD’s YouTube official channel. ‘The Last Hidden’ marked their last debut project to end leaving their actual debut itself to commence.

KARD had been releasing their debut project with various hidden content in every projects. Last December, KARD revealed ‘Oh Na Na’ collaboration along with Heo Young Ji followed by the brand new ‘Hidden Track’ English Version of Don’t Recall as well as the music videos.

What about the last hidden content for Rumor? The last ‘Rumor’ hidden contents they have for the last project is a fancy massive group performance that not only four members of KARD but also 200 dance crews show a spectacular group performance in the video.

To feed the curiosity, the person behind the amazing last hidden performance video was Z.SUN. Z.SUN is not only responsible for Rumor dance performance but also Oh Na Na and Don’t Recall. The amazing lady is currently an active dancer and choreographer hip hop team ‘Purplow’.

‘Purplow’  is girl hip hop dance crew created in 2011 which consists of Honey-J, the leader, Ri-Hey, Z.SUN, and Kim Hee Jung. Purplow had done a lot of collaborations with famous acts such as Jay Park, Madclown, Hyorin, Hyoyeon, Bora, and more. They also made appearance in Hit The Stage, a show for dancer by Mnet.

Z.SUN herself has not only won various dance competitions but also became a dance teacher and even gave lectures in university. As a dancer and a choreographer,  according to her Instagram bio (@zsunbless), Z.SUN speciality is Dancehall genre, a mixture of reggae and hip hop dance moves.

With Z.SUN incredible talents and specialities combined with KARD’s amazing music and talents for KARD debut projects, the world got pleased with amazing performance. That is one of the reasons why Z.SUN became the last hidden card for Rumor.
