     He quickly ripped his earbuds out of his ears, pressing into his right one a little bit as it buzzed from how loud the girl was. He wasn’t expecting that, to say the least. He let out a soft breath, moving to lean against the side of the building, searching through his phone as he waited for her to show up. However, he was on high alert to make sure that he wasn’t going to get drop kicked out of the blue again.

Her outburst was. . .surprising. What was she talking about? Another punishment game? What did -that- mean. For the first time ever, at least as far as she had known him, a genuine look of worry seemed to cover Ken’s face. Although, his voice contradicted his feelings at this time.

“Eri? What’s wrong. . .What are you talking about.” Was he supposed to touch her? Hold her? What was he going to do in this situation. This was the only time she had snapped at him despite it being a joke. Despite everything that was running through his head, Ken felt like he wasn’t going to like the answer she was going to give. “Eri, what ‘punishment game’. What happened.”

Ken was thoroughly surprised by her response. She hadn’t been to the movies? Then he wasn’t alone in the matter. “I haven’t been to the movies either.”

A small, but stiff smile, spread across his features. “I figured you’d want to go with me if no one else.” Wait a minute, what was Ken -actually- asking her to do? A boy and a girl going to the movies? Not only could that potentially be a school scandal, but only couples went to movies right? If Ken -was- going to ask her out on a date he probably would have already done it, but right now his intentions were unclear (even to himself).

“I’d rather it be with you though. Than some of those other stuck up girls at our school.”
