Do the work you are supposed to be doing today without being distracted by future events. Every stage of life and business has its own tasks so do today what is required. Unfortunately some young people miss their youth because they want to live like grown ups. When I was a teenager I wanted to grow up quickly so I could have my own car. After I started driving I realized that it gave my parents the license to send me for every little errand. That did not bother me as much as the dissatisfaction I felt. I realized being able to drive was not a heavenly experience. Many business owners miss the fun of creating work they are proud of today because they are worrying about next month. It is important to be futuristic in our thinking as long as it does not distract us from making today the best it can be. As Marian Sampong taught me "If your today is successful, your week will be successful, then your month will be a success. This means you will have a successful year."
