my moomins obsession has been revived by recently watching The Comet Chase for the first time (Mads Mikkelsen makes for an interesting Sniff lmao). drawing these marshmallows is a balm to my soul 😌

Throwback to Spanish class where the cool Spanish teacher gave us an assignment where we had to draw a comic of two students discussing their schedules in Spanish and I, fully submerged in a Moomin hyperfixation, had a truly galaxy-brain moment where I decided to use my two favorite variations of Snufkin, put them both in Japanese school uniforms, name them 70 and Fuzzyfelt, and have Fuzzyfelt ask to hang out with 70 platonically, but act like a shy anime girl asking her senpai out on a date. 

The gun wasn’t included.

Anyway since the teacher never returned the comic, this painting I just made and a damaged rough sketch of the designs are the only things I have to remember this. I also made the painting look like a late-90s-early-00s manga cover because. why not
