Hey sorry I basically left Tumblr after deleting all my social media apps on my phone for the sake of "productivity," which would've worked except now I just watch anime on my phone instead. Anyway, I feel bad for just kind of leaving so I'll answer this ask even though it's like. Weeks late.

冬のはなし ("Fuyu no Hanashi" - "Winter Story) - Listen, this one made me cry so hard. Spoilers for the show Given: It's basically a song the character wrote about his childhood-friend-turned-lover who committed suicide and how much he's struggling to move on. I don't know how sad it is without much context but maybe you can watch the clip from the anime and feel sad about it with me?

瞬き ("Mabataki" - "Twinkling") is from this BL (boy's love) anime called Sasaki and Miyano which is a high school romance and maybe the cutest thing I've ever seen.

What Sanctuary actually says in the Japanese version may be SoRiku...

So these songs actually tell an untold story (or story yet to be told?) about the Kingdom Hearts series and Simple and Clean really baffles me as to why people thinks it is Sora x Kairi because with lines like “I don’t believe in us fully” it is interaction between Sora and Kairi but its them questioning if their relationship is just that “kid crush” that so many adults move on from. So i am examining Sanctuary’s actual wording and i found some pretty neat stuff. Firstly though let me ask you a serious question.... would haters seriously abandon the series if Sora x Riku was to happen? As the song lyrics below imply “I really want to see the change of the times”
