Hmmmn didn't get as much writing done tonight as I would have liked but my brain was kinda pingponging all over the place.

I DID manage to get to certain people getting rescued and it also occurs to me that I am just being...super evil to Jango in this chapter. All of his loved ones are seriously injured and in the SW version of ICU in some stage or another grievously injured.

Like, take a second to imagine that horror, you don't know if one of them is going to flatline or die and you're stuck trying to decide WHICH loved one whose beside you're going to glue yourself to. Constantly stressed that sure they might live but what if the other person dies and you never got your chance to say goodbye. Or they die ALONE and you're not there.

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck that is a special level of hell.

I am the literal devil at this moment. That's like my peak nightmare fuel, and I'm 100% projecting onto poor Jango at the moment.

Everyone is gonna need so much therapy after this chapter.

It's definitely not a banner day for House Mereel.

But now…I’m gonna be responsible and go to bed at a reasonable hour for once.

so i’ve finally managed to binge my way through two seasons of She-ra and started the third...

and holy mother of fcuk you guys, I have fallen completely head-over-heels in love with the Entrapdak ship, please help

Visually I immediately fell in love with Hordak - skeletal, tall, glowing eyes, fangs, carved looking face - and his voice just made him so much better. His armor, his poise, how he sits on his throne, how the fcuk does this keep happening to me I keep falling in love with villains WHY 

(it also helps that he’s not sexist like some villains can lean into)

And Entrapta... I just love her. She’s smart but scattered, always needing to do something with her hands, mind a million different places at once, kind of distant, identifies more with her machines than people most days, completely indifferent to morality so long as she can SCIENCE!!!, her weird and particular food preferences, the purple color scheme, her outright enthusiasm for everything she gets to do, her determination to continue on despite whatever setbacks and failures she suffers, her HAIR.... I love her to pieces (and maybe identify with her some??? idk)

I should have known this ship would take me fast and hard

Height Difference. Bubbly personality meets Grouchy. completely contrasting visual aesthetics. VILLAINS. the Respect they have for each other. The fact that when the grouchy one gets angry he doesn’t insult her and blames himself. fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck, that’s the good shit right there folks

And Season 3 Ep 2 made it all so much worse because

here’s a list, honestly

As they start the portal experiment, Hordak smiles softly at Entrapta

When it explodes, he pulls her back and shields her from the blast with his own body, which damages his life-sustaining armor

after he tells her to leave in anger, Entrapta coming back to check in on him, and make sure he’s okay

After Hordak collapses and passes out, her taking care of him during and after unconsciousness - blankets, soup, etc

Entrapta catching him as he collapses to his knees

Entrapta, after Hordak tries to push her away again, grabbing his hands, pinning them to his side, and pushing him back against the wall as she demands to know what’s happening with him and why - AND HIM ACQUIESCING ALMOST IMMEDIATELY 

Hordak spilling his entire backstory to her about being a clone, cast aside for his cloning defect and deemed a failure, his struggle to bring his king to him to prove he isn’t a failure and then feeling like he is, admitting as such

Entrapta immediately coming up with an idea to help him using First Ones tech (which is in short supply with them, so using a rare resource they can’t spare to help him better survive and fight)

Entrapta telling him it’s okay to need help and be imperfect

case in point? “Imperfection is beautiful - at least, to me.” While being lit up by sparks and a rainbow glow. Hordak just stares at her, awestruck

Hordak letting Entrapta manhandle him as she pleases without a fuss, showing trust that she won’t hurt him

Hordak immediately responding that Entrapta isn’t a failure when she says she is - not even a second of hesitation, just instantly reacting to say no she isn’t, essentially

Entrapta building him an exoskeleton to, quite literally, support him

Hordak very, VERY awkwardly trying to compliment her for her work and not quite knowing how to while she smiles at him

Hordak very dramatically stating that anyone who discounts her abilities or calls her a failures are idiots

Entrapta telling him she likes being his friend, and him just relaxing and smiling at her for that

I mean, after all of that - IN ONE EPISODE NO LESS - who couldn’t love this pairing? As friends, as a couple, as science bros. 

just... give it to me.
