Edd's original plan of killing his past self was far from his mind as he couldn't help but stare at you. You were so young. Now that he wasn't so hellbent on killing his past self, he saw how young and naive all of you were. Unaware of what's to come.

In just a few years, they'll end up locked away in Red Leader's base, his mind whispered. They'll be nothing more than his little dolls to dote on and wave in front of my face.

Although it was for a different reason, his anger resurged. It wasn't fair! Tord hadn't ever known you as long as he had. Or even as long as Tom and Matt. But that didn't stop him from tricking Edd into thinking that he just missed all of them. That he wanted to move back in and be their boyfriend again.

Then, he decided he loved you too and took you away. Of course, he took Tom and Matt with him. And since Edd refused to join him, Tord resorted to waving all of them in his face.

Edd's grip on the gun in his pocket tightened. Maybe he didn't need to kill his past self to stop Tord from ever moving back. Maybe...... Maybe he just needed to take his lovers with him to the future and hide them far away from any version of Tord.
