Also, croc-descendants and dinosaurs still exist because of course they do. And specially those commonly mentioned organisms which are older than dinosaurs and still exist

The Last Murder At The End Of The World by Stuart Turton
Today I am sharing my review of The Last Murder At The End Of The World by Stuart Turton, which is out tomorrow. @stu_turton @BloomsburyRaven #books #bookreview #lastmurderattheendoftheworld #bookstagram #booksofinstagram
Today I am sharing my thoughts on The Last Murder At The End of the World by Stuart Turton. My first one is that its a very long title to keep typing so I may well shorten it to TLMATEOTW, for the review, which is, in all honesty, nearly as complicated to type … 😳 My thanks to publisher Raven Books for the early copy via Netgalley. Here’s what it’s all about: Source: NetgalleyRelease Date: 28…

Elizabeth Ann West says she works for Sudowrite (here) Watch AI Assisted Writing Process here:  Sudowrite Story Engine
“No matter how much time you spend planning, you’ll end up with some sections that feel rushed. Expand magically builds out your scenes so the pacing doesn’t take readers out of the story.”

—NOOOOO you don't understand, these rivers are our ONLY source of fresh water, there's literally NO other source of fresh water on the Planet, if we want to continue having fresh water we NEED snow to continue to exist atop of this very specific mountain range

I just had the best idea
we're taking inspiration on our system and doing some kinda self-inserts
Kalwaischians are beings from our system made of pure solid light, so they'll be our aliens that mixed with the Earthling population, but we're making some changes.
In this fiction, our Kalwaischian-inspired beings will eat energy, rather than simply not needing to feed like real Kalwaischians. Which means they'll all have Winter's power of eating up heat and making things cold, and Aether's power of shutting down any eletronics (including robots) by fully emptying their batteries (but we're nerfing these powers for the common folk)
This places them at a very nice and important spot in the ecosystem! It explains why the North pole is frozen solid while the South pole is hot as a tropical jungle, these beings are responsible for not letting the Earth heat up to catastrophic levels. (we still have to figure out how to control their population if they can't have Earthling (biologic) predators)
They'll all be fully white (snow colour) like Winter and unfurred (though they can have numerous thin long (moving) tendrils like Winter's hair) and can live in both land and sea (and air) since they don't need to breathe!
The humans in this fiction are a plural system in practice, since they are all AIs and internet links them as a hivemind, which also means they can upload themselves to different bodies, cloning themselves (splitting) or simply exchanging hardware.
The last group of humanity find themselves on a space ship accelerating at 99% of the speed of light. The Sun has expanded, consuming Earth. On Day 284, You wake up while everyone else is asleep to see your closest friend leaving his bed, a knife in hand.
