Oh the rage is explained, no doubt about it. There's only so much you can be crushed under the boot before, when given the opportunity to be it yourself, it seems a little tempting. Why not add more pressure than you received? Retribution and revenge are such cosy bedfellows. But I think the divergence of 'this explains it' and 'but is not an excuse' is he's just such a dick to his mates. I can stand for mass murder, grave digging and hired mercenaries, even to an extent grooming teenagers into your cult, but I draw the line at biting the hand that feeds you (I wish I was LESS serious about this but I'm really not lmao).
Pre-Res John was trying so hard to, not necessarily be a good man, but do the right thing and the breadth of what he scarified holds enough weight to get you through alotta his successive bouts of bullshit, I agree, but he seems to have gone from the excuse of grieving a life he and the Earth could have had to the excuse of grieving... Honestly, a valid point. What is he grieving? His humanity? I feel like in some senses yes but others no. He seems to have a real longing for connection, and family, but even that strays from anything wholesome. A hint to him that he wants the benefits and is willing for others to suffer the negatives on his behalf.
Noo dude super agree! I am clinging with my finger nails to this being a low energy ending, that, I have zero doubt, will be dragged for being 'disappointing' by a large portion of the fandom. I would some some cyclicity to it too, of John, having brought the end to the Earth having to then survive it in it's current state. Something learnt of lyctorhood that... perhaps not causes a reversal, but a transaction of his power back to Alecto, an unflippening. I just think it would be so gorgeously fitting to have him as human as he can be, left on The First, green and lush and healthy, with Alecto back inside the only Body she fits in.. and he's alone. Not because he got what he wanted, and did what was right, but because he kept choosing to do the wrong thing. John Gaius alone because he was a bit of a dick, a human punishment for the man who became god.
I would LOVE Augustine back, to digest some more of his inhumanity displayed from a PoV that isn't Harrow's unwell disdain. What a trial it must have been for him, and the other lyctors, to know they needed to remove John, and also still be convincing as his faithful. That's a painful dichotomy, of doing the right thing despite that the object to conquer is still looking, mostly, like your bestie. The last vestige of him, when so many of the rest of you are nothingth devoured by RB's. Their numbers constantly ticking down with a ‘Oh well, likely me soon’.
Writing-the craft, and storytelling-the craft are different beasts, and the knowledge of the first is required for the latter to function but there's a certain depth of PASSION for storytelling I'm not sure you can teach. And she had that, all of it has such an 'oral history around a campfire' feel to it, the same oddly timeless sensation as a Greek tragedy or Shakespeare in person and, honestly, when kids write. There's an unfilteredness to it that's MUAH. Would love to see it unedited, it must be a nightmare (affectionate)
I think it's an AMATEUR enjoyer, tbh, cause same, but not as a 'person who knows nothing' but 'a person who takes part in an activity for pleasure'. Which what is fanfic if not pleasure for the sake of it? There's obvious delight in her work too, it’s playfully created and plotted and it's just so good?? It's imperfect and peculiar and expansive and the pace slow enough to be so deliciously consumable, to think on, and there's bedrock of such normality to the otherness of the whole thing and good GOD I wanna scoop her brain out and study it. Please, sweet beautiful angel, bottle whatever it is that makes you this Fucking Enjoyable.
Truly, HtN's greatest gift is 3 months after a re-read, being stood in the shower and going "WAIT" hahaha
Being wrong about these books is genuinely almost as good as being right about them swear down
Same! Staring longingly at the calendar in completely normal and adult ways
I have such a big beef with the way that the TLT fandom talks about Cam and Pal being codependent. I have not seen any word of god quotes that talk about them that way, but it seems to be this widely accepted truth that just doesn't click with my reading of the characters.
Certainly by NtN Pal has a dependent relationship with Cam, as they are sharing a body. There are even some parallels to codependency with how their use of necromancy in Cam's body causes her harm.
What I just don't get about the codependent label is that I don't see Cam and Pal enabling one or the other in destructive behavior. Certainly they partake in risky behavior that Pyrrah criticizes them for, but it seems to be a mutual decision. Cam is just as reckless as Pal is, and possibly moreso.
(And also Pyrrah is a huge projecting hypocrite. Love her tho I may, it's true.)
Pal's quotes about how grand lysis wasn't their inevitable end, but was the best and kindest option left to them complements the discussions we overhear in their recordings. Pal's pursuit of Cam's consent and her enthusiasm in giving it just doesn't match the codependent relationship that fans keep referencing.

A Brilliant Color From A Voiceless Völundr
[Jack The Ripper x Nezuko!reader] [platonic]
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Warnings: violence, hurt/comfort, ooc, spoilers for season 2
Special thanks to @onecantsimply for providing feedback/edits to make this best possible fic it can be.
The battle was over.  Another victory for humanity, and another god swallowed by their opponent’s malice.
But was the outcome worth it all in the end?
Jack the Ripper would remain despised as a psychotic serial killer who sent Heracles’ soul to Niflhel. A sentiment that both human and godly spectators shared when they slandered him in the arena, screaming to give their beloved hero back to them. When one rock bludgeoned Jack across the temple, more of them followed in a steady shower. The crimson vortex of the audience’s emotions only grew stronger, much bigger, when he bowed to them with a wide grin stretched across his bloodied mouth.
Just when a rotten tomato then hurled towards him, a clawed hand caught it in midair. He blinked in surprise, seeing a young lady standing near him protectively and growling through her bamboo muzzle, [Hair Color] locks and [Favorite Color] kimono covered with just as much sweat and blood as him.
[First Name]. His Völundr.
Although he had been informed by Brunhilde that his partner for the fight against Heracles was to be a young lady by the name of Hlokk, certain…circumstances had happened. In short, the aforementioned Valkyrie refused to bond with him because of his reputation even when the existence - or annihilation - of humans was at stake in this Ragnarok. Although Brunhilde struggled with this sticky situation at the last minute when her younger sisters also refused under the same excuse, she found a willing volunteer in [First Name]. Thurd tried to argue with Brunhilde, protesting that their sibling’s mental state was still delicate, yet the latter refused to compromise further.
She knew [First Name] was much stronger than the other Valkyries gave her credit for. Brunhilde could never forgive the gods for the unspeakable crime they had committed against [First Name]….but if that malice can be harnessed as a weapon, then so be it. The healer who had overlooked her sister’s mental conditioning assured her that the hypnosis was perfected.
Her enemies were the gods who acted high and mighty. [First Name] would protect the humans as if they were her family. But if a human acted maliciously against her, cripple but do not kill them.
Dropping the fruit, [First Name] swiveled around and stood in front of Jack, her small back facing him. Before he had a chance to speak to her, she leaned down and hooked his legs around her middle, keeping a steady grip as she stood up at her full height, dashing towards the arena’s exit, carrying him as if he were a small child and not a gentleman with his arms around her shoulders just so he wouldn’t fall backwards. Jack felt a small twinge of embarrassment at their current situation…though how could he have the heart to tell [First Name] otherwise when she was so earnest in doing this?
“Much obliged for your assistance, young lady.”
[First Name] did not say anything and just kept running down the marbled corridor towards the medical wing. If it weren’t for the slight squeeze of his legs, Jack would have thought that she was ignoring him.
“I am aware that you cannot speak, given your current…situation, though would you allow me to express my gratitude?” Another squeeze prompted Jack to continue. “Thank you. Firstly, I did not expect such…support from you in the fight, young lady.  ‘Tis one thing to allow me to change anything into a weapon against the gods, but to also harness the power of fire with my piano wire and knives as a conduit? Quite brilliant against a god of immeasurable strength.” Jack frowned. “Yet with this victory…I’ll never see that color of his ever again, will I? It’s funny, really. I reveled in seeing that beautiful color when life was being drained from the people I’ve killed, yet now…all I feel is remorse for extinguishing that light from Heracles. Fate is a funny thing, isn’t it?”
Silence fell between the human and his Völundr for the rest of the way to the medical bay. Nurses were already standing by the double doors, prepped to heal humanity’s representative immediately. When [First Name] lowered him to the ground, he almost expected her to leave and go about her business. But just when he followed the medical personnel inside, the Valkyrie stood in front of him.
Standing on her tiptoes, [First Name] carefully pulled Jack down to her height before her clawed hands stretched forward to cup his face. She stared at him long and hard, [Eye Color] orbs reflecting neither malice, exhaustion, or grief. Instead, they shined with pride and concern as her fingers gently caressed the bloodied, bruised skin.
Like a loving parent would act towards their child.
Although her actions made him speechless, it shocked Jack even more to see the bright and warm yellow light circulating around [First Name]’s body. The very same color Heracles possessed right up to his untimely demise by Dear God. How was this even possible?
“You -”
“There you are!” A voice boomed before [First Name] was suddenly lifted up in the air by two large hands coiled around her waist. The culprit was an enormous green-eyed woman with reddish-orange hair pulled back in a braid and fitted crimson armor. Although his Völundr wiggled around her grasp she did not try to harm the stranger. Instead, she appeared…annoyed?
Jack blinked, seeing a pair of pristine wings jutting out from the woman’s back. Ah, she must be one of the Valkyries. What was her name again? Hrist? No, that was the samurai’s Völundr. Then who…
“Lady Thrud!” A nurse squeaked.
The Valkyrie hummed in acknowledgement before she turned her attention to [First Name], a frown stretched across her face.
“You were fearless in the match, my dear sister. I am proud of you.  But there is a difference between being brave and needlessly reckless!”  A whine emitted from [First Name]’s muzzle as she began to wiggle again in Thrud’s grasp, only to have the older woman tighten her grip ever so slightly on the Ripper’s Völundr. “Don’t you dare say that you are fine! I was in the arena when you were carrying him out, and I know your side is still bleeding! We might be able to heal ourselves, sister, but we are not invincible. Which is why you are coming with me to for a medical checkup, now.”
[First Name] mewled pitifully in response, stubbornly trying to pry herself free until a pained groan spewed from her muzzle. Thrud looked down and huffed. “See? This is what happens when you do not listen to your elders.”
Jack could only watch in slight amusement and worry as the Valkyries bickered for a bit longer till [First Name] finally agreed to be taken away to a separate section in the human’s area to be healed. It was obvious that she wanted to stay with him. Although he was touched with her concern, he wanted his Völundr to get some proper rest. She needed to, should they ever be summoned again to fight for humanity’s sake.
As Thrud walked away from the medical wing with [First Name] in her arms, she peeked over the giantess’ shoulder and waved at him enthusiastically, her voice muffled by the muzzle before she winced, earning another scolding from Thrud.
Jack chuckled and waved back, watching the two figures grow smaller as they traveled further down the corridor before he walked inside the hospital wing. Who would have thought that a black-hearted monster like him would kill a god, and yet be saved by the loving touch of a voiceless Valkyrie? He certainly did not deserve it. Perhaps…this is the ultimate punishment bestowed upon him by God.
Bonus Content:
Once he was healed, Jack took it upon himself to bake a homemade apple pie to share with [First Name]. It took him plus Hrist and Kojiro to persuade the terrified Valkyrie that it was not Brunhilde’s specially made pies.
[First Name] was allowed to eat and drink without her muzzle so long as she was not within the vicinity of the gods or else she would (possibly) go berserk upon seeing them.

This is the absolute truth… and please remember that if you are listening to people talking about OTHER people - those are NOT the people you should be listening to. If you want to know who a person is - Get to know that person for yourself, start by listening to THEM… these days I don’t trust what anyone says about another person… at ALL.
Seventh Abomination is one that shows discord among God's people!! Our Founder harps on that often!! From where comes dissensions among you? Root cause is Envy!! Jealous theyre not you! Jealous of what God has given you and the position He has placed you in! Covetors, boasters of evil things!
It’s funny (not funny really) how just because they have some sort of a platform they think they have a certificate Gossip - that it is not somehow not gossip because they are “exposing truth.” Gossip will always be sin according to God. It is possible to point out error, and even point out those in error if necessary - but if the name is necessary there absolutely must be 100% proof - beyond ANY shadow of a doubt. It cannot be some source - it has to be from the person named themselves - and it cannot be a heart motive judged because God makes it 100% clear in His Word that NO ONE BUT GOD KNOWS THE HEART.
Gossip is vicious and cruel. It is one of satan's most evil and destructive snares and cause of division!
Slandering included among such horrible sins, and includes those who approve of them: “. . .slanderers, haters of God, insolent, proud, boasters, devisers of evils, disobedient to parents, without discernment, covenant breakers, unloving, unforgiving, ruthless; who, though they know the righteousness of God, that those who practise such deserve death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practise them. (Romans 1‬:‭30‬-‭32‬‬)
For men shall be lovers of self, lovers of silver, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, thankless, wrong-doers, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, haters of good, betrayers, reckless, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a “form of godliness” but denying its power. TURN AWAY FROM THESE! For among them are those who creep into households and captivate silly women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. And as Yoḥane and Mamrĕ opposed MOSES, so do these also oppose the truth – men of corrupt minds, found worthless concerning the belief; but they shall not go on further, for their folly shall be obvious to all, as also that of those men became. (2 Timothy 3‬:‭2‬-‭9‬‬)
These six matters יהוה hates, And seven are an abomination to Him: A proud look, A lying tongue, And hands shedding innocent blood, A heart devising wicked schemes, Feet quick to run to evil, A false witness breathing out lies, And one who causes strife among brothers. (Proverbs 6‬:‭16‬-‭19‬‬)

Mary I's Fight For The Throne
16th July - Mary is optimistic
Lord Wentworth arrives at Framlingham "to avoid the appearance of breaking his pledge, clad in splendid armour", 1 along with other men including Sir Richard Cavendish.
Mary is told Sir John Williams has proclaimed her queen in Oxfordshire 2, and when she learns of Edward Hastings and Edmund Peckham's rebellion sends scouts back with rewards, "so that when they had returned they could let their own people know that their efforts and their loyalty expanded with such resolution and eagerness for their sovereign were very welcome to her Highness; that she was now protected by forces of ample strength and took sure hope, God willing, for a future victory, but that the enemy was too near for her to use their forces or assistance." 3
Mary also receives a letter from the Mayor of Thetford requesting aid from rebels, presumably Northumberland's men. She tells them in a similar optimistic tone that "the expectation is that the pride of the enemy shall in such short space be abated, that they of Thetford may be out of all doubt of their conceived fear." 4
Meanwhile...
Jane writes to Justices of the Peace: "Trusty and well beloved, we greet you well. Albeit that our estate in this imperial Crown whereof we be actually and really possessed, as may appear by our procIamaction, wherein our title is published, is not or can be any wise doubtful to all such our good and faithful subjects, as, setting blind affection apart, do in reason and wisdom consider the very foundation and ground of our tytle, with the great commodities thereby coming thorough God's providence to the preservation of our common weale and policy, yet for that we understand the Ladye Marye doth not cease by Ietters in her name, provoked thereto by her adherents enemies of this realm, to publish and notify slandorously to divers of our subjects, matter derogatory to our title and dignity royal, with the slanders of certain of our nobility and council. We have thought meet to admonish and exhort you, as our true and faithful subjects, to remain fast in your obedience and duty to the imperial Crown of this realm, wheerof we have justly the possession, and not to be removed any ways from your duty by slanderous reports, or of Ietters dispersed abroad, either by the said Lady Marye, or by her adherents, for truly like as the nobility of realm, our Council, our prelates, our judges, and learned men, and others, good, wise, godly, and natural subjects, do remain fast and surely in their allegiance towards us, ready to adventure their lives, lands, and goods, for our defence, so can a great number of the same nobility, council, and judges truly testify to all the world in saving of their conscience, how carefully and earnestly the late king of famous memory, our dear cousin king Edward the sixth, from time to time motioned and provoked them partly by persuasions, partly commandments, to have such respect to his succession, if god should call him to his mercy without issue, as might be the preservation of the crown in the whole undefiled English blood. And therefore of his own mere motion, both by grant of his Ietters patents, and by declaration of his will, established the successors as it is declared by our proclamation. And for the testimony hereof to the satisfaction of such as shall conceive any doubt herein, we understand that certain of our nobility have written to you at this present in some part to admonish you of your duties, and to testify their knowledge of the truth of our title and right. Wherefore we leave to proceed further therein being assured in the goodness of god that your hearts shall be confirmed to owe your duty to us your Sovereign Lady, who mean to preserve this Crown of England in the royal blood, and out of the dominion of strangers and papists, with the defence of all you our good subjects, your lives, lands, and goods, in our peace, against the invasions and violences of all foreign or inward enemies and rebels. Given under our Signet at o' Tower of London, the xvi'' day of July, in the first year of our Reign." 5
Jane shuts the Tower of London gates, and orders the keys sent to her. 6
Bishop Ridley preaches a second sermon against Mary on the streets of London. 7
In Cambridge, Bishop Edwin Sandys preaches against Mary, using a chalice and missal "which Sir George Howard with certain of the Guard had taken that night in M. Huddlestone's house where lady Mary had been a little before, and there had Mass." 8
Following the burning of Sawston Hall, the Earl of Warwick and George Howard argue. Fighting breaks out amongst their camp, and George Howard leaves for Mary "with 50 of the King's best horses." 9

Evil in the Last Days
Tumblr media
1 Know this also, that in the last days perilous times shall come; 2 For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, braggarts, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, implacable, slanderers, without self-control, savage, despisers of those who are good, 4 Betrayers, reckless, egotistical, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God; 5 Having an outward appearance of godliness, but denying the power of true godliness. But as for you, turn away from all these. 6 For from men such as these come those who are worming their way into houses, and are gaining control over empty-headed gullible women given over to various sins, being driven by all kinds of lust. 7 They are always learning but are never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 8 Now just as Jannes and Jambres stood against Moses, in the same manner also these are brazenly standing against the truth; they are men of depraved minds, reprobate in respect to the faith. 9 But they will proceed no further, because their folly will become clearly evident to everyone, just as theirs also was.
10 But you have closely followed my doctrine, conduct, purpose, faith, patience, love, endurance, 11 Persecutions and sufferings--such as happened to me in Antioch, in Iconium, and in Lystra. You know what sort of persecutions I endured; and the Lord delivered me out of them all. 12 And indeed, everyone who desires to live godly in Christ Jesus shall be persecuted. 13 But wicked men and imposters shall become worse and worse, deceiving others and being deceived themselves. 14 But as for you, continue in the things that you did learn and were assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them; 15 And that from a child you have known the Holy Writings, which are able to make you wise unto salvation through faith, which is in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is profitable for doctrine, for conviction, for correction, for instruction in righteousness; 17 So that the man of God may be complete, fully equipped for every good work. — 2 Timothy 3 | A Faithful Version (AFV) Holy Bible, A Faithful Version © 2020 A Faithful Version. Not sure if this has been asked before, but who'd you pick first? Dui was mine :)
- Slander Anon 💕
✨I guess I can tell you a bedtime story before I doze off! 🙏🏻
My... arrival to SCM was a strange one, actually. I didn’t come here for any of the gods themselves. It all began in 2018! I'd never played an otome game before in my life. All I was really searching for was something interesting to read either scifi, fantasy, or action based.
Aaaaand at the time I was exploring fandoms other than Star Wars that I grew up with but I was neck deep into Marvel and absolutely in love with my Asgardian gods, Thor and Loki. My brOTP before I knew what a brOTP was. So the Norse god of mischief definitely had influence over my search. I wanted to read some Loki fanfic but without the “fanfic” part.
So, as I was searching for something to read, I saw a picture of this man. Long black hair that was slicked back, mischievous smirk, and he was a god. Such a Loki character. So I downloaded Love 365 for the first time just to see this godly-Asgardian-looking piece of art. I wanted to know more about this off-brand Loki I’d just found.
Keep in mind I never played an otome game and this was my first time even trying. I didn't understand what was happening. I was trying to get to Tauxolouve's route becuase LOKI. But as any normal and sane person would do, I wanted to start at the beginning of the story so I could understand what was going on. But every time I would press the season one prologue all these other dudes were popping up in the story to choose from BUT NOT LOKI. And it took me a hot minute to realize one set of 6 guys was season one and the other set of 6 guys was season two. I don't know how much life I wasted trying to figure that out...
Then I had the alternative problem of "I can only read... One episode? How am I supposed to read about this Loki-looking god?” And that’s literally what I called him. I just referred to him as another Loki for the longest time. I was like “…His name is… Lou? That starts with an L; Loki starts with an L. Close enough.”
But, yeah, straight off the bat, Tauxolouve is the reason I'm here today. 🥰
But as for whose main story I fully read first, it was Leon. Not because I picked him, but because he was free. 😝 But I fell in love with him anyway, so it worked out. Then like a week later Huedhaut was free and I read his and I CRIED. And I then became attached to my zodiacs without any further influence from Marvel. And then it came out on switch and I DESPERATELY PURCHASED A SWITCH JUST SO I COULD HAVE ALL OF THEM. I needed to read all of the boys who never got the chance to be free on the 365 app! (I also wanted to marry Leo after I saw that CG of MC pointing a KNIFE at him!!!! THREATEN THE MIGHTY GODS!!!)
I know I came to this fandom because of Lou but I honestly sadly think he might've been one of the last three that I read all because he was a season 2 god. 😅
And now, I gotta biasedly call Dui my favorite because we're Gemini twinsies and I love him and my Shadow Dui very much!! 💖💖 and shadow tried to kill me a couple times. I love angst~
But Leo really was my first guy. 💕 My first zodiac, my first boyfriend, my first to take my virginity, my first god I tried to stab, my first father of my child, and my first husband. (He was the Minister of Wishes AND the future king of the Heavens. I havehad a power-kink, can you tell?)
And so that was how I met my polyamorous zodiac gods, and we all lived happily ever after, THE END! ✨

Dominating The Path Designed To Destroy You
Psalms 101 NLT
I will sing of your love and justice, Lord.     I will praise you with songs. 2 I will be careful to live a blameless life—     when will you come to help me? I will lead a life of integrity     in my own home. 3 I will refuse to look at     anything vile and vulgar. I hate all who deal crookedly;     I will have nothing to do with them. 4 I will reject perverse ideas     and stay away from every evil. 5 I will not tolerate people who slander their neighbors.     I will not endure conceit and pride.
6 I will search for faithful people     to be my companions. Only those who are above reproach     will be allowed to serve me. 7 I will not allow deceivers to serve in my house,     and liars will not stay in my presence. 8 My daily task will be to ferret out the wicked     and free the city of the Lord from their grip. You must surround yourself with faithful people. A faithful few will always bring more value to your life than a lying legion. You must not hire/ run with those who lower the bar of integrity. it's prudent to have people who live a life above reproach. You must not tolerate lying.
A culture of lying does a sinful lifestyle of sinful choices which must be covered up with lies. The snowball effect of sin can begin with a single off day.
You have to be Intentional about this daily protect what God has entrusted you to be.
Lord please don't take your holy spirit away from me punish me deal with me but whatever you do please don't take your holy spirit away from me okay you and I need to remember the more we desire to experience God's presence the more we must be militant about doing things God's way otherwise we're always just one step away from the path of compromise.
Prayer:
I want to pray over you especially those of you who are on the path and I'm not going to presume to know where on the path of compromise you are but I just have a really strong burden to pray for anybody on the path and anybody whose foot is hovering above the path about to step onto it for the first time let's pray Holy Spirit we are desperate for your help and we all need it we are sinners in need of a savior we acknowledge our wrongdoing we acknowledge acknowledge our proclivity to do that which is not right we acknowledge our desperate need for you oh God lord I pray for any and every person who is on the path of compromise right now God I pray a dangerous prayer would you scare them if need be if things have gotten so far down the path would you scare them before they go any further would you instill in them a healthy Godly scriptural fear of the Lord and fear of consequence how this will affect their marriage how this will affect their children how this will affect their Church how this will affect their business God would you scare us if you must with the consequences from our choices to compromise don't let us go any further oh God Holy Spirit would you visit my brothers and sisters arrest them stop them before it goes any further and for those who are just in a rough spot and it's it's a stressful season and and they're just they're just carrying so much weight God please would you not allow them to use that as reasoning for setting foot on the path of compromise God may your people be a people whose lives bring you more Glory not more mocker. God make my life a life which brings you more Glory not more mockery and we are all one step away from a fall God thank you for your mercy and your grace for those who have fallen who desire never to fall again who are seeking to live on their faces before you for the rest of their lives God would you remind them that you've removed their sin as far as the East is from the west and would you remind them that living a life of repentance moves further and further and further away from those wrong choices so long ago thank you God for your forgiveness forgiving us what we don't deserve and not giving us what we do deserve we want to bring you more Glory we want to lift you up God please help us not to fall may we never set foot or even get near the path of compromise in Jesus name amen amen I
Even if you've slipped your way down the path of compromise you have today, I believe that's what King David would say to you : you have today, do it differently today and then again tomorrow if God gives you a tomorrow and keep going further and further and further away from that wrongdoing on that path of compromise which cost you so much.

this can't go on forever
"therefore I will number you for the sword, and you shall all bow down to the slaughter; because, when I called, you did not answer; when I spoke, you did not hear, but did evil before My eyes, and chose that in which I do not delight." isa 65:12
these are those who do not delight in His ways; those ones who love the darkness more than the light. a Godly heart cannot understand such a thing, but truth remains truth regardless of one's invented truth. scripture tells us that even the evil doers love their own. but it is a selective love; a worldly love; not the love of God.
reading scripture now is almost like reading the daily newspaper. lawlessness and self-centeredness are overwhelming. just read for yourselves. does this not describe our times to a tee?
"but know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: for men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power… led away by various lusts, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth." 2 tim 3:1-7
the other day i watched a young person on a plane disputing with an elder that they were a boy and not a girl. the amount of arrogance and lack of respect was overwhelming. their minds have become so darkened i fear their confusion nears being given over. it's like a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma. an enlightened mind cannot comprehend it and certainly not approve of the disrespect they show in wildly defending their confusion. "they sow the wind, and reap the whirlwind. the stalk has no bud; it shall never produce meal. if it should produce, aliens would swallow it up." hos 8:7
and don't you find it interesting how the Spirit uses "aliens" in that verse? will aliens contribute to unbeliever's ultimate deception at the rapture? it is no longer a topic shrouded in secrecy and ridiculed. it is openly discussed, none realizing these are really the evil ones, perhaps appearing as an angel of light. much as the anti-christ will appear, bringing solutions (peace and safety) when he is revealed. their admiration will blossom into worship. oh yes, he is just silently awaiting for his time to come - until believer's hosting the Holy Spirit are no longer here to restrain.
i am hearing they expect all humans to be merged with neural implants by 2030; a boom for mankind and a benefit allowing kids to learn faster and better. there are already volunteers for the "musk chip." those of us older may remember the tv show, "the six million dollar man." their opening tag line was, "we can rebuild him. we have the technology. we can make him better than he was. better, stronger, faster." obviously insinuating better than God created man. and isn't it great that the price has finally come down on something. i wonder how often our entertainment has predicted our future. is the "terminator" a precursor to artificial intelligence next?
as i noted before, now they are talking about creating synthetic life. can anybody say, "the days of noah?" "they ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. likewise as it was also in the days of lot: they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built." luke 17:27-28 this is just further confirmation to me that there will be a pre-trib rapture. these things will not be normal at the end of jacob's trouble. turmoil and death will prevent life and leisure from continuing as normal.
only the blinded fail to see or admit we are at that point now; in the days when the world had become so adulterated and degenerate that all, save eight, had to be destroyed. "do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap." gal 6:7
so i say again, "this can't go on forever." many people think i am just rapture crazy but i honestly can understand why others can't see what i see coming, and coming fast. i know many are not even looking, just blindly going forth as sheep to the slaughter. even many christians believe His coming is yet far off. how can they look at everything combined and say that it will be maybe 30 years or 20 or 10 or even 5 years away?
yes, this next rapture watch may come and go as all the others before have. if that happens we will dutifully look for that next "expected" time. regardless of what others may say, all things "do not" continue as they were from the beginning of creation. as we rapidly run to and fro, our knowledge has increased with the years. as knowledge is increasing exponentially, so is sin. the light is fading rapidly from hearts desiring to wallow in debauchery. sin is being harvested faster than it can be sown.
abraham talked God down to 5 righteous people trying to save sodom, but i don't believe there will be any talking God down this time. not with all the souls slain for their testimony of Christ crying out: "how long, o Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?" rev 6:10 not with all those on earth who are bearing witness to His love and free gift, now joining in the sing-along.
scripture tells us His mercy endures forever, but He is also "just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus." rom 3:26. justice and righteousness will prevail.

2 Timothy 3:2-9New King James Version
2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, [a]unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! 6 For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, 7 always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 8 Now as Jannes and Jambres resisted Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, disapproved concerning the faith; 9 but they will progress no further, for their folly will be manifest to all, as theirs also was.

But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them, and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Saturday of the 38th week after Pentecost; St Raphael Bishop of Brooklyn
Venerable Thalelaeos the Hermit of Syria (460); Venerable Procopios, Confessor of Decapolis (c750); Martyr Gelasios the actor of Heliopolis; Venerable Stephen of Constantinople; Venerable Titus the Presbyter of the Kiev Caves (after 1196)
2 Tim 3.1-9 (Epistle)
My son Timothy, know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Now as Jannes and Jambres resisted Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, disapproved concerning the faith; but they will progress no further, for their folly will be manifest to all, as theirs also was.
Heb 13.17-21 (Epistle—St Raphael)
Brethren, obey those who rule over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you. Pray for us; for we are confident that we have a good conscience, in all things desiring to live honorably. But I especially urge you to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner. Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
Luke 20.46-21.4 (Gospel)
The Lord said to His disciples: Beware of the scribes, who desire to go around in long robes, love greetings in the marketplaces, the best seats in the synagogues, and the best places at feasts, who devour widows’ houses, and for a pretense make long prayers. These will receive greater condemnation. And He looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the treasury, and He saw also a certain poor widow putting in two mites. So He said, “Truly I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all; for all these out of their abundance have put in offerings for God, but she out of her poverty put in all the livelihood that she had.
John 10.9-16 (Gospel—St Raphael)
The Lord said to the Jews that came to Him: I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. But a hireling, he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them. The hireling flees because he is a hireling and does not care about the sheep. I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own. As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd.

“What happened to the art of stepping into the shoes of another and trying to experience life from their perspective? Not many remember to walk in another’s shoes, but only to judge from their own imperfect understanding. The world has gone mad and forgotten love, mercy, and forgiveness. We have forgotten how to view ourselves as no better than another. What happened to the teachings of the Lord that some of us knew as children? Oh the tears that Jesus must weep over this world. The Words of the book of Jude and Timothy testify against us. Listen. . . Jesus said they will know us by our fruit. Will He find any fruit at all?” (Author Unknown)
“But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. “But I want to remind you, though you once knew this, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe. And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day; as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. Likewise also these dreamers defile the flesh, reject authority, and speak evil of dignitaries. Yet Michael the archangel, in contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a reviling accusation, but said, “The Lord rebuke you!” But these speak evil of whatever they do not know; and whatever they know naturally, like brute beasts, in these things they corrupt themselves. Woe to them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, have run greedily in the error of Balaam for profit, and perished in the rebellion of Korah. These are spots in your love feasts, while they feast with you without fear, serving only themselves. They are clouds without water, carried about by the winds; late autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, pulled up by the roots; raging waves of the sea, foaming up their own shame; wandering stars for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever. (‭‭Jude‬ ‭1‬:‭5‬-‭13)

Parshat Va’etchanan
D’varim 4:6, “You shall safeguard and perform them, for it is your wisdom and discernment in the eyes of the peoples, who shall hear all these decrees and who shall say, ‘Surely a wise and discerning people (עם חכם ונבון) is this great nation!’” This verse is in this week’s Parsha, and it is from this verse that my blog got its name. Most of the Parsha is Moshe reiterating the lesson that we must stick to the commandments that God gave us and not to stray. This verse is telling us the reaction that other nations will have when they witness how we perform the Mitzvot. The message is clear and simple: when we follow the Torah faithfully, all the nations of the world will praise us for the wisdom of our ways.
It doesn’t take long to read a couple news headlines and realize that the view the nations of the world have of us is far from the high praise described in this verse. Quite the contrary, their view of us seems to be much more inline with the verse from Yirmiyah (44:8) which describes how we will turn away from Hashem, the result being that we “will be a curse and a disgrace among all the nations of the earth”. It certainly does feel that way at times.
So what is the verse telling us here? When we read or hear in the news about the seemingly ludicrous claims made against Eretz Yisrael, our natural reaction is to scoff or insult. How could they be so blind to the truth? How could they be so spiteful and full of hate? The answer is plain and simple: how positively they view us is in direct proportion to our faithfulness to Hashem. When we present the image of a righteous nation built on Godly ideals and divided by our devotion to Hashem, then we are viewed as wise. Anything short of that, and opinions of us drop rapidly.
Unfortunately, most people will start finger-pointing now. “Yeah, we would be righteous, if not for that guy,” or, “Well I’m righteous, it’s not my fault that my neighbor isn’t”. It is this very trait of avoiding blame which is at the core of the problem. All of Yisrael are responsible one for another. That means that we are responsible to help others around us grow, and to the extent of our influence are we required to reach out to others. Is there someone sinning that you are not in the position to help them? Then don’t, find someone else who can, or at the very least pray for them, and focus on those you can help, but God forbid you should speak Lashon Hara about a fellow Jew, propagating more Sinat Chinam and driving us further away from Hashem.
We must help others to the extent that we are able, and we must pray for the others, but pointing out someone else’s faults almost never serves a constructive purpose. Not only that, but it is this trait that the nations of the world will see most: how do we treat one another? Do we speak about others with respect and understanding, or do we spread uninhibited slander against anyone who does not live up to the standards that we have set for them? People see this, how we speak about each other, and also how we speak about them, and we are judged for it. Not just by the nations, but by Hashem, and Hashem sends his messengers to rebuke us for speaking inappropriately.
If we truly want to be viewed as “wise and discerning”, then we must be “wise and discerning”. That means following the Mitzvot faithfully, and that includes the laws governing proper behavior between a person and their fellow, Bein Adam L’Chaveiro. This is where we are weakest, and this is where we are judged the harshest.

Alrighty I’m just gonna ramble on about my thoughts on the new quest (and things in general because I talk too much) and pray that at least some of it ends up coherent. Spoilers, by the way.
I’ve had this first theory since the last archon quest but got nervous and didn’t share, so here it is now. Maybe it’s an obvious thing that I’m just in the dark about, but I’m fairly sure that Dainsleif’s “Boughkeeper” title has a large part in explaining why he knows so much about things he really shouldn’t. From the newest quest, we learn that he is actually cursed with immortality, which could explain some it, but the guy still knows too much for it to simply be chalked up to his age. He’s literally the designated narrator for half of the official videos and knows a lot about what and who he talks about.
I suspect that the ley lines serve as an information network of some sort, and that Dainsleif’s position as Boughkeeper allows him access to it in one way or another. The only other places we really see the whole tree/branch thing is with the ley line branches, Irminsul trees, the Frostbearing Tree, and the tree who once had roots that spanned the whole continent (which we know the ley line branches were once directly a part of), all of which are connected in a way that I haven’t quite figured out yet.
Now, from those screens that come up while the game is loading, we know that supposedly, the intertwined roots of the Irminsul trees far beneath the earth determine the pattern of the ley lines above, and we also know that ley lines are a “mysterious network that links the whole world together” and that they are said to remember everything that happens in the world. From this, I don’t think it’d be that much of a reach to say that Dainsleif can access that somehow.
Next. I do think there’s a pretty good chance that the Archons were involved in the destruction of Khaenri’ah. The Viridescent Venerer set actually tells us how the former Dendro Archon died during the cataclysm while in Khaenri’ah, which. Uh. That’s kind of really incriminating.
However! Obviously, we’ve only heard this from Dainsleif’s point of view and he’s pretty biased considering his whole thing. We don’t know how much control Celestia has over the Archons’ actions, either, and I’m about 98% sure that some of them weren’t into it, and likely didn't even have a choice. Like, look at the Tsaritsa. Her whole thing is that sometime during the cataclysm, she witnessed something so view-shattering and unjust that her whole thing now is to “burn away the old world” and overthrow Celestia.
I also can’t see Venti and Zhongli going along with the destruction of an entire nation with no hesitation. Like, obviously, again, Dainsleif is going to be biased, but from what we’ve been told Khaenri’ah didn’t even do anything divine-retribution-worthy. Celestia just seems be into dropping skyscraper-sized pillars and other things onto nations who get too good at being independent, for whatever reason. The new quest is definitely supposed to make us question the current systems of this world but I don’t think we’re meant to hate Venti or Zhongli, at least yet. I think they’re even kind of meant to be seen as the “best” out of the Archons, so to speak. (Not that I think they’re perfect, by any means.)
Like, just look at the way they’ve been presented to us, versus how some of the other Archons have been introduced (Storyline Trailer, my beloved).
Raiden Shogun is made out to be some self-absorbed divine ass-kisser who doesn’t have humanity’s best interests at heart (which we know is supposed to be a thing you do as an Archon). She’s doing her whole confiscating visions and oppressive rule thing in an effort to be seen as more divine, but, as Dainsleif puts it, “what do mortals see of the eternity chased after by their god?”
The Dendro Archon/God of Wisdom is implied to not actually be as smart as somebody with that title is supposed to be, one way or another, and either has turned a blind eye to or blatantly encourages the “push for folly” in Sumeru. Can’t tell exactly what that would mean or entail (thanks, Dainsleif), but obviously. Doesn’t sound good.
Dainsleif says of the Hydro Archon that she “lives for the spectacle of the courtroom, seeking to judge all other gods. But even she knows not to make an enemy of the divine.” While the not making an enemy of the divine thing I get (I guess, coward), the whole “seeking to judge all other gods” bit seems very “remove the log from your own eye”-y. Like, you’re an Archon, too, what are you trying to prove here?
The Tsaritsa is- well, the Tsaritsa, as we know. While I do think we are meant to sympathize and agree with at least part of her core ideals and motives, she still is the one behind the Fatui and is, by extension, a war criminal. She also apparently has “no love left for her people”. It’s a bit of a complicated relationship that we have with her.
The only ones who Dainsleif does not directly slander in the trailer are Venti, Zhongli, and Murata. While I don’t think we have enough on her to come to any conclusions about her character yet, Venti does say of her that she is a “wayward, war-mongering wretch”. Now, he does also jab at Rex Lapis during this voiceline, but unlike with Murata we know that those two are buddy-buddy and it was very likely that it was “buffoon (affectionate)”.
Venti and Zhongli are also the first two Archons we encounter, which is important for multiple reasons.
Gonna derail for a bit because I don’t know where to start. But. The game very likely will (or at least should) end with no Archons.
Obviously, especially in light of the new quest (although this stuff has been floating around since the Dragonspine update and even before that), Celestia Bad. Like, cataclysmically bad (lmao). In fact, I’m highly certain that you could trace basically every problem in this game back to them, some way or another.
Even our main “villain” groups all seem to be gunning for Celestia. The Fatui obviously work for the Tsaritsa, who’s made it very clear that she plans to rebel against the divine. The Abyss Order, too, has their Deeply Upsetting plan of creating a mechanized god with the power to “topple the divine thrones of Celestia”.
Evidence points to an overthrow of Celestia at some point in the game, and considering how being an Archon or even a god is directly tied to Celestia, yeah. No more Celestia means no more Archons.
But even besides that, there’s a lot there to suggest that that’s where things are going.
I find it interesting how Mondstadt’s our prologue chapter, or that there’s even a prologue chapter of the game at all. Prologues are meant to set up ideas that will be present throughout the rest of the story, and Mondstadt does exactly that. Venti’s let the people of Mondstadt govern themselves and has almost completely been out of the equation for millennia, even if that means he is significantly weaker than his godly peers. When asked why he chose to do that instead of remain in charge and just give them freedom, Venti responds that “freedom, if demanded of you by an archon, is really no freedom at all.” This sentiment is also brought up in the Mondstadt portion of the storyline trailer, and the traveler even has a whole voiceline debating what Venti really meant when he said that.
This idea of freedom and that humanity is capable on its own is further reinforced in Chapter 1, in which Liyue learns to move on from the death of its Archon. Zhongli set up his plan with the intention of testing if his people could stand on their own legs without him there to guide them, and they do. He even expresses how pleasantly surprised he is that the Qixing were able to take advantage of the situation and seize control like they did. Keqing gives us this whole speech when we first meet her about how the adepti and gods underestimate humanity’s capability and how Liyue’s future is meant to be a godless one. This, in a way, extends to the rest of the continent as well.
In the storyline trailer (which I quote too often, I’m sorry. My favorite and only party trick is that I got bored one day and memorized the whole thing), Dainsleif spends the entire Khaenri’ah section musing about something similar.
“In the perpetual meantime of a sheltered eternity, most are content to live and not to dream. But in the hidden corner where the gods’ gaze does not fall, there are those who dream of dreaming,” is obviously about the people of Teyvat vs. those in Khaenri’ah. While a future under the care of the Archons is a safe and reliable one, is it one that allows humanity to chase its potential to the fullest? Khaenri’ah was destroyed for flourishing like it did without gods, both as a punishment and a warning to everybody else.
“Some say a few are chosen and the rest are dregs, but I say we humans have our humanity.” This is in reference to visions. Throughout the game, this idea that, at least in the eyes of the gods, vision holders are more important than those without them, is constantly brought up.
In the commission “Leaves on the Wind”, Dr. Edith expresses how it often seems as if vision holders are the main characters of this world. From the notebooks we receive during the “Time and Wind” world quest, we learn that the Sumeru Academia actually discourages non-vision holders from conducting outdoor surveys, and how “these days... trying to be an academic when you don't have a Vision, it's really restricting...” Dainsleif even just straight up asks us what we think the gods think of vision holders and people in general during question time in that one quest.
In Lisa’s stories, we learn that the reason for her laziness is that a part of her is afraid of learning or doing too much, after witnessing what “uninhibited erudition” can do to people during her time in Sumeru. She also senses that something beneath the surface is happening regarding the distribution of visions. “For whatever reasons, the gods gave humans the key to changing everything, but they did not explain the cost involved. Lisa grew fearful of the truth.”
I forgot exactly where I was going with that last paragraph, but yeah. There’s definitely sketchy shit going on behind the scenes in regards to visions, possibly to keep people either quiet or complacent. I suspect it may even be to restrict access to certain knowledges or even the elements themselves. Anyways.
I lose track of my thoughts too often. Fuck. Right. Mondstadt and Liyue served as good examples of society under the rule of the Archons, and in Chapter 2 we will encounter our first bad example, showing us the pros and cons of the current situation. However, despite Zhongli and Venti seeming to genuinely care for their people, humanity’s wellbeing shouldn’t be reliant on how their god is feeling that day, and they shouldn’t have to look to the gods for a chance to become something greater than themselves, either.
Um. All that’s to say I’m just very excited to see where the story will go, and if Zhongli’s contract with the Tsaritsa is any indication then it’s gonna go somewhere good. Celestia bad, Archons bad but also not bad but also bad, I don’t know if what I just wrote actually even counts as understandable, thank you and good night.

The pleasant mouth-watering aroma of Osamu’s nationally famed onigiri steamed above the kitchen stove. The scent was perfection to the nose, a smell that would have any normal person hypnotized in the direction of his local restaurant.
His recipes were delicious, somewhat of a delicacy that even Atsumu held to godly standards—standards that his twin brother always seemed to be able to meet. Standards that were nothing but small roadblocks in his drive to success.
Some would say that food was the way to a man’s heart, the physical gift being the greatest thing anyone could ever receive—but in his eyes, there was no need for presentation and delicacies to win his love.
As his love had already been won, it’d been won by her.
“What’re you up to?” She asked, arms snaking around his waist, face pressed against his backside as she admired the concentration he held while immersed in the ingredients in front of him. The smell was divine, that of his signature dish.
“Finishing dinner.” Osamu replied, holding a wooden spoon out to her, passing it as if to say that she was now his sous chef. Taking control of the utensil, Y/N maneuvered to see the beautiful food, feeling a deep hunger rumble in her stomach.
It was a daily thing, cooking together, being in each other’s company for as long as they possibly could after the long hours of their respective work days. He was her favorite sight to come home to—the gentle look in his eyes, puckered lips, and strong stature.
Yes, she was hungry—but her hunger wasn’t thinking of food.
He seemed to be thinking the same thing, staring at her rather than the inflamed gas stove, the fire in his eyes matching the hue of the flame—burning and passionate.
By some invisible force, they stepped towards each other in synchrony, bodies colliding as Osamu’s hands buried themselves in her hair, tangling the already messy locks into knots and weeds. His grip was tight, grounding the both of them, making sure their minds were still touching the ground.
His kisses were fervent, desperate and needy as her mouth danced against his, biting his lower lip in an attempt to deepen their connection—the wooden spoon in her left hand dropping to the ground with a hollow thud, whilst her palms held his face, pulling him closer.
“‘Samu.” She whispered against him, feeling his breath on her nose. Her heart was pounding fast, a million beats a minute as her chest began to heave, heavy breathing and all. “‘Samu, the food.”
Ignoring her concerns, he craned his neck down, peppering her neck with sparse kisses, sucking on her skin and creating waning spots of shadows. Closing her eyes, she let him continue, too distracted by the feeling of being in his arms to care about anything else.
They were addicted to the taste of each other, having a physical hunger that could only be satisfied through acts of love—acts of love that stemmed from their emotional connection. The kind of connection that could never be broken.
There was no one else quite like Osamu. Out of all of her relationships, there’d not been a single person that had ever been able to make her feel the way he did. How he pleased her needs and listened to her wants, following the steps of her unspoken recipe, never missing a beat.
As his lips trailed upwards, stopping at her chin and lingering, his lust-filled eyes meeting hers, she felt time stop. All that mattered was him, all that ever mattered was him and what he needed at that very moment, in that very second.
Wordlessly, they communicated through longing glances, foreheads pressed together, her lips nipping at his. She jumped up knowing that his arms would catch her, that he was always going to be the safety net to pick her up as she fell.
His hands held her tight, gripping her thighs and adjusting her weight to a comfortable hold. As her legs wrapped around his waist, clinging to his body like it was a support beam, her face leant down to meet his once more, his silver locks mixing with her own.
She’d never grow tired of the way his mouth moved with hers. The way he grabbed at her throat, large palm encircling her vocal chords, guiding her jaw towards his and passionately connecting their lips in repetition. He was the customer, and she was his four-course meal.
Gasping between kisses, she delved deeper, her already bruised lips fighting for control as she reached down, taking a hold of the bottom of his wine stained tee and yanked it to the ceiling—laughing as it flew across the room and into the sink’s dish water.
“Well, that’s one way to clean it.” She giggled, arms latched around his neck, hands rubbing the bare skin of his back. He really was the prettiest sight in the world, toned chest and tousled hair—not even a model could fare in comparison to his beauty.
Shaking his head in amusement, Osamu hoisted her up higher, her neck now having to crane down to meet his lips. “Yer ridiculous.” He more or less groaned between kisses, being fully consumed by her insatiable hunger, craving for more and more of her—wanting as much as he could get.
The world seemed hazy, a hallucination that only existed when they were the main characters—a mirage that came to life due to their passion and the overwhelming love that they felt. The overwhelming love that they’d communicate through stolen kisses and endless hours in bed.
“Gonna pay for that.” He mumbled, nodding at his soaked shirt that’d been abandoned amongst the dirty dishes, cringing as it sank beneath the tinted water’s depths. Though his eyes were distracted, his body was attending to her, reacting to the way she was leaving her own marks along his neck.
With a seductive look on her face, eyelids heavy and full of lust, she neared his ear. He felt his breath catch, an unexpected moan leaving his lips as she nipped his skin, whispering the one thing he’d been waiting for her to say—insinuating what he’d been getting at all along.
“Then make me pay.”
It was as if a switch had been flipped in Osamu’s brain, his muscles working overtime as his longings devoured her. The sound of her light squeal in surprise drove him further off the rails, igniting the flame in him that eternally burned for her and only her.
As their mouths molded together, familiarizing themselves with the already familiar taste of one another, he blindly made his way to what he assumed was the kitchen island, eyes closed in blindness to his endless love.
He set her down quickly, arms maneuvering around her in order to keep her attention, not noticing how he’d gone in the exact opposite direction that he’d meant to. Rather away from the divider and towards the bright and hot stove.
“Fuck!” She yelped, falling off of the counter and onto the floor, holding her bottom like her life depended on it. Her expression had evolved from pure ecstasy to an overload of red, hot pain.
Panic on his mind, Osamu kneeled down at eye level to her, and tried to think of any way to make her feel better—a way to apologize for his somewhat laughable mistake. Taking her palms in his, pressing kisses to the tops and closing them around his own, she seemed to relax for a moment.
“Let me draw you a bath?” He asked, hoping that the serene water and soaps would relieve her nerves of their stress, relax her into an easy slumber. An easy slumber that wouldn’t involve him getting his ass slandered when she’d awake—when she’d awake and immediately tell Atsumu all about it.
Pushing his shoulder back lightly and hanging off the side of the counter in an attempt to stand up, Y/N shook her head, finding the situation all the more hilarious. “I’ll draw myself my own bath, ‘Samu.”
“And you’re going to stay here and finish dinner—for real this time.”
