Furniture Dreams

I have finally found the furniture I want to put in the cat room.  I am of course not in a position to put furniture in the cat room (see disaster house of chaos) and by the time it comes back in stock, I will probably no longer have two cats, but this has inspired me.

I want to combine it with this to get it off the floor (and IKEAs chat person confirms it would work).

The idea is to put one litter box on the floor under the desk and put the other litter box on top of the desk, freeing up floor space, giving the cats more room to roam and allowing me to lift the bottom box onto the table for cleaning so I don’t have to crouch, while also providing storage. 

IKEA also makes these for Kallax units.

Yes, it’s a cat bed that fits in a Kallax cube.

I could put all their food and cleaning products and medications and treats (would probably need the insert with a door for the last one) all in one place.  And I would put either pet stairs or a cat tree or something else they could climb on the side so it would be accessible.  Or even something like this.

But it’s out of stock, I’m nowhere near this for home improvement and M the Cat is probably not going to live long enough to see this.  But the idea of not having to bend over to clean a litter box (or at least not stay bent over) might make it worth it, even when I only have one cat.
