We’re doing a slime based English/Science lesson on Monday, and my kidlets are going to be Forensic Assistants to Furlock Bones, the World Famous Dog Detective and help her/me solve the mystery of the Monster Slime that appeared in my kitchen overnight. 

There is a video introduction with Handschuhe in a cape with a magnifying glass. 

There are slime recipes to follow. There are slime samples to compare your finished product to. 

The kids are going to have Security Passes with QR codes on them that I will scan on my phone to check that they have security clearance for the Forensics Lab.

I think I may be about to peak at the end of my first year of teaching.

A few years ago, on a dark, stormy night, Nikolas Taylor left Pandemonium at 4 a.m. Walking to his car, he heard noises of growls, barks and the sound of cats screeching viciously. He turned the corner in the dark alley to find a tiny puppy fighting with stray cats. The small, minuscule dog was soaking wet and black with dirt, and still attempted to hold his own against the felines.

Scaring away the cats, he enticed the dirty little puppy with some olives from behind the bar, and took him home. Cleaning him up and giving it some water and food. He realized it was a tiny dog with a big personality; clever, stubborn and attentive and although it was too young to tell what breed it was, instantly Nik knew this was the dog for him. Weeks passed, followed by months and he waited for the dog to grow significantly in size before he realized that was wishful thinking. Hades had done his growing - and it was sweet fuck all - he was still tiny. Surprisingly, Nik’s love for him was not. And the man who was cold, cunning and ruthless - a killer of men - had formed a bond with a dog from a alleyway.

A year later, Nik’s fondness for dogs only grew, and he decided he would ‘go big or go home’. Or rather, ‘go big and go home’. One dog was simply not enough, and so followed; Bones, Bandit, Caspar, Rosco and Zeus.

Furlock Bone’s wishlist

THINGS I’D LIKE: I would prefer a fanfic but I’ll take a gif, a graphic or fanart if I can get it. I love University!River (whether as a student or a professor), I love the idea of River with her own companions, adventures, and AUs. Oh man, do I love AUs. You got an AU that you weren’t sure anyone was interested in? You can’t see, but I’m waving my hand frantically. Me- I’m interested.

I love angst, fluff, rewrites, and crossovers- especially with other sci- fi shows because River Song makes everything better (obviously). I enjoy River/gen but I’m a big fan of River/Twelve and River/Eleven if the Doctor wants to show up.

THINGS I DO NOT WANT: I like Companions but I don’t like them paired with the Doctor.

THINGS I CAN DO: I can draw. :I

THINGS I CAN’T DO: I would rather not do any Clara related stuff if I can help it. I won’t do any NSFW content.

October 12

So, I guess I'm starting this as some sort of daily record of the shit that happens in my fucked up life. Really, this was Clawson's idea. Something about how I need to branch out because letting him talk me into a YouTube channel wasn't good enough. Whatever.

Today was fairly normal. I went down to the Full Pot, a local coffee shop, for breakfast which was nice. I might visit it again. I had a wonderful barista, a kindhearted husky. He was quite cute too.

Usually, I try to get something productive done, but I've been really depressed lately so I sat around and watched Canadian cop shows mostly of the day.

Of course, Clawson was as happy and extroverted as always, demanding that I do lawn work or something creative. I told him to go stuff it up his ass. For a cat, he's so heartful it's irritating.

You know, sometimes I hate live in the city. I hate how closed in everything is. It's like suffocate on the fur coats of this around me.

This is getting stupid. Why am I writing this? Whatever. I'm going to bed.
