“Hey,” Hannah glanced up when the other walked into the coffee shop. “Thanks for coming. I just...” she bit her lip, not looking at the person any more. “This murder thing? It’s gotten to me. I think...I um...know someone who might have had something to do with it. And I don’t know what to do. Because it’s...” she hesitated. “It’s Daxton.”

“Usually I love a free holiday, but you know, I would much prefer to be somewhere that isn’t in the middle of absolutely fucking nowhere.” Ainsley sighed, shaking his head. “What even is there to do here? All I’ve been doing since we arrived is sleep, eat and drink.”

“Do you think there’s any animals out here that will be walking around?” Joey asked as he heard someone walk into the room. He was sat by the window, looking outside and was wondering why he hadn’t seen anything other than trees. “Sitting here would be a lot more interesting if I actually saw some animals,” he added, chuckling to his own words.

“Hey! You forgot your wallet!” Oliver said as he grabbed the wallet and chased the other person, before tripping and falling to the ground. He quickly stood up and looked around, before looking at the person who had lost the wallet. “That was totally intentional, I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

Browsing the deli of target Mason’s cart had begun to look like he’d been stalking up for the apocalypse, filled with all the cooking necessities. “I promise I’m not a hoarder, my kitchen is literally empty and it’s not fun trying to survive on pasta and garlic powder.”

hey guys, firstly we’re so so sorry about the state of the group over the last few weeks. We do plan on coming back after all exams are over (and my work was so so hectic). We completely understand if a lot of you are gone and don’t plan on coming back as of monday but if you are please like this post so we know how many people we have. Things will resume as usual with a task and a small event to get back into the swing of things. If you’re around please feel free to post a starter or continue with threads as you wish.
we love you guys very very much and apologise again for the state of the group.

“I don’t know what it is you’re looking at right now but as long as you don’t start crying again we’re gonna stay here for a little while longer.” Cam spoke softly to the little bundle in his arms, rocking his niece gently in his arms. He’d been on his way back to the car after stopping by Starbucks to get some coffee when his niece, who he was currently babysitting, had started crying and didn’t stop until she suddenly found something interesting enough to watch. As he tried to see what she was seeing he noticed a familiar face, giving them a smile as they locked eyes for a second but not wanting to stop them from wherever they were heading.

“I don’t know how I convinced you to come here with me, but i’m glad i’m not doing this alone!” He chuckled as he continued hiking up. “I wasn’t lying when I said that there’s a waterfall at the end of this hike, i’m excited to see it. This is the first hike i’ve been able to do since I’ve gotten here.”

“Let’s play a game called i’ll sit here and focus on the book i’m reading, and you won’t annoy me today.” She groaned seeing the other beside her, “I already have a headache, please don’t make it worse.”

“No, no, listen. You’re not listening!” Seb slurred, trying to get the other’s attention across the bar. “The mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell!”

“I swear it’s not poison or anything, I’m just trying to be nice for once and if you don’t want it, then you’re not really giving me a chance and that’s offensive.” Devon said, as he handed the other person in front of him. “It’s just a drink, you’re not going to die.”

After not getting much sleep last night, Ainsley had decided to get a coffee on the way to work, knowing he wouldn’t last until lunch without one. Stepping out of the coffee shop, he bumped into someone, causing him to drop his coffee, only just narrowly avoiding spilling it down himself. “Can you watch where you’re going?” he snapped, clearly in a bad mood from the lack of sleep. “You owe me a fucking coffee. I’m already late. I have black with no sugar.” Ainsley told them, gesturing into the coffee shop for them.

“Well you’ll get to meet him when he comes over here.” Joey said down the phone, sighing as his dad continued to talk on the other end. Walking around the room as he carried on the phone conversation, he was grateful when someone rang the doorbell. Walking to open it, he smiled when he saw who it was, gesturing for them to come in. “Yeah, mhm. I got it. Look, I’m gonna have to go, I’ve got a visitor. Okay, speak soon, bye.” The man sighed, hanging up and looking at the other. “Hey! Sorry about that. Parents, hm?”

Oliver was walking around the cabin, getting to know the place. He didn’t like being alone in the woods, but it was the least he could do to be with his friends. When he felt someone approaching him and touching his shoulder, Oliver jumped and let out a small scream, before turning around to the person who had touched him. “Don’t do that, do you want me to die?!”
