Nas'hrah I believe somewhere at the museum mentions The Girl and he says something along the lines of "--that kid, whatever her name was,--" which implies that she Did have a name, which makes sense (pretty much everyone but Enki would give her a name and he very explicitly was not the one who led her to ending A), but it's nice to have a canon confirmation she did have a name
If NAS'HRAH vaguely remembers her having a name I damn bet everyone was calling her by it
#funger bpt#funger2bpt#Fear and hunger#Fear and hunger termina#Nas'hrah#The Girl fear and hunger#I like drawing while watching diff things and one of the things I love drawing to is let's plays of games I'm a fan of#I watched multiple f&h1 playthroughs at this point and I'm a huge fan of when the lets players bother naming the girl just for the fun of i#There were one or two of these that I've seen iirc#One name was Penelope and I don't remember the other one if I'm not misremembering it to begin with#The Girl near the end of her life not having as bad of a life is something I think about a lot#F&h dungeons are a bad place but interacting with like... Cahara or D'arce or Rag couldn't have been described as#''Not tainted with the slightest bit of hope'' or however way Enki phrased it#That's basically like getting a caring stepmom or stepdad or both depending on however way their teams worked#They were all tired and traumatized and fungry but again#That must be so much different from her life prior to being released from the cage#I specifically remember that ''you're doing great'' dialogue in the party talk

I was thinking something sweet with some characters that aren't Marina (if you have a little sympathy and see a young girl with clear issues you maybe will try to be nicer with her? ) but like realistically that's what majority of it is gonna be batshit. Can't wait for it.
I really hope Orange goes through with making Samarie recruitable / playable because she's such a delight. I wanna walk through the streets of Prehevil and just have 24/7 Samarie commentary. Going into the spooky nazi demon experiment bunkers and having her say like "My dear Marina... This arcane machinery reminds me of the divinity of our love... I am but a humble insect in the presence of you..." or some dumb bullshit like that

Random ass HC I recently thought of for Samarie is that she doesn't have eyelashes and eyebrows because of trichotillomania.
#Maybe she even wears a wig but I'm not sure about that tbh#Funger2bpt#Samarie#Samarie fear and hunger#This bad girl can fit so many mental disorders in her *slaps Dysmorphia's thick booty*#Idk about her lower eyelashes maybe she draws them in as she does makeup or just doesn't touch the lower ones specifically

Marina portrait overline/hc :3
Tbh one of the first things I noticed about the image is that she has a little bit of tummy, which most artists seem to not draw (understandable I've been kinda neglecting it too in my fanart that I don't typically post online)
#Funger2bpt#Not defining the underwear situation cause the post isn't about that/#/I don't want you freaks to get distracted from what's actually important (Marina's tummy)#Marina Domek#Marina's tmmuy#She lowkey has thunder thighs too (trying not to think about that ironic tweet of someone saying whatever genshin character has cake)#Thank god for making me fixate on a game made by a guy who is both normal about women and who's values in art are great#It's a divine apology for the one time I fixated on an RPF ship#I'm gonna get so much out of Miroslav's art by the time this hyperfixation is over

That's intentional afaik. Idk when but I killed Daan early on in the run and then I remembered that I fucked up too late into the game :(
So yeah I'm pretty sure you're damned to give the contestant heads to new gods and pray that you get your books of enlightenment from somewhere else 🙏
didnt know normal, non-daan pocketcat disappears once you kill daan… the implications…
#Funger2bpt#Unless I'm also wrong but I'm pretty sure I've heard about that in the context of a fun fact about the game

Omg why did I see people praising the meat grinder as a weapon it's a three hit per attack version of the bone shears from the first game... I guess you can fix that by just wearing glasses but I should not have tried using it for the first time during the heartless one fight omg
#funger2bpt#Daan killing all his companions to get the best equipment and skills and then injecting himself with heroin to have a better chance at#killing hearless is in his le'garde grind#Didn't realize how op the brown vial is before this moment#Black orb>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>meat grinder#I kind of hoped they were more or less the same thing tbh#No black orb is straight up op. In both games

Lowkey would love to be one of the artists for the f&h Gacha for Gaza thing but idk if they still take in artists for that and if my skill is good enough for that
#The politics behind it are amazing and I like drawing people's requests and the pinecone idea is super cute#Wait nvm#One of the recent posts is them introducing a new artist which I suppose all you need is an art page? Hopefully tumblr will do I just need#To post a few more drawings there my Twitter is so cluttered with reblogs lol#and I'm pretty sure you can't make a new twt account where I am#Funger2bpt#//rambles

I mean, personally I think they either stayed there together or both left, as due to something we learn at the beginning of Termina (if we choose the right things, won't specify here cause idk if everyone reading this has played Termina) sometime after the first game and before the second one there were excavations going on in the dungeons, it was pretty vague in terms of what's going on in the mines, but due to the things we see later on in the game we can safely assume that the whatever archeologists that were there, they got to Ma'habre, so no way they wouldn't get to Nosramus' place.
In terms of info from the first game... Nosramus did say he's in the dungeons because it's the closest place to the gods. With hindsight we know it was this way because of the god of the depths, and he's... Well, he's no more. GoFaH did consume him, so it's not an entirely godless (lol) place, but with the traces of Sylvian/Gro-goroth destroyed and Ma'habre ravaged I wouldn't be surprised if it's not the same. Maybe not much has changed though, I assume a lot here tbh, like that destroying traces of a god affects their presence in a specific place, or that the void is in any factual way tied to the dungeons, or that the new gods/the guards/whatever meant shit to Ma'habre on a large scale as a place that belonged to the old gods.
So that's Nosramus' motivation. Enki's motivation is enlightenment (they're not that much different now that I think about it), so while I don't think that's canon, but, chances are, he would've stayed at the Ma'habre library to study. He spent his entire life for an opportunity like this and he knows how rare it is, I doubt he has any hopes of finding anything like it outside the dungeons. As for Nosramus, he probably understands that too, also on a human level he seems like a deeply lonely person, seemingly still attached to the probably long dead knight he was in intimate relationship with, with seemingly no human contact after the dungeons went to shit, I bet he wouldn't mind the company of Enki whom he obviously respected enough to help on his way to enlightenment.
I think overall the bigger question here isn't if they ended up splitting or not, but how each of them reacted to having to leave their homes for the ravaging archeologists to take apart and get god knows where, Nosramus with his studies and Enki with his knowledge yearned for all his life. I want to believe they found a way to stand their ground and continue living there, but there's still things in the second game I'm not very knowledgeable about like that one unedited bible I've never encountered personally, so. Idk. Maybe it's a sign they did leave. Maybe it's a sign they were killed by the outsiders. Maybe only one of them left, maybe they went on to live on some even deeper level of the dungeons created by GoFaH.
Since Enki's writing in found in Prehevil that means he left at some point to share/publish his writings... and I wonder, did Nosramus leave with him or was he too scared to get outside the Dungeons after so many centuries? Some people spend *decades* imprisoned and never readjust to living among society.
Nosramus seems to know his way around the dungeon just fine but I wonder if he became agoraphobic with time. He found enlightement and studied ancient books, but was he afraid of not understanding the modern world?
Enki wouldn't ask him to leave with him, or at least he wouldn't insist on it. I think he'd passively aggressively threaten Nosramus of never coming back. Nosramus wouldn't budge and wish him good luck on his pilgrimage.
But Enki would come back. They'd miss eachother too much but neither would admit it...
Ah, something about inmortals in love :( <3
#Funger bpt#Funger2bpt#I want the best for them but maybe it'd be for the best if their fate remains a mystery#For the fandom ecosystem. And in a meta way too. You can't make your horror games an open book that's bad for the horror

Not a fan of this character, but I just thought about fem!pocketcat and my first thought was "wait but what mentally unstable woman is there for her to prey on amongst the contestants" and the moment I thought of a way to tie her to Samarie I liked her suggenly 👍
Samarie's issues are not the same though, I'm not sure if Pocketcat woul--
On WAIT nevermind I forgot about fem!Daan: ms Karin 'I've covered wars, you know' Sauer, I can't believe I forgot about her. She's literally looking for answers AND she also falls into despair as the festival goes on. Literally as perfect of a victim as Daan is for Pocketcat.
I have no clue how Miro managed to make two characters that are so identical in such non obvious ways.
#Funger2bpt#Thoughts aloud kind of#But I know some of you might be interested#I am not gonna maintag this stream of consciousness though

The impression I got from Miro's twitter is that it will be modern-ish (after termina but before today) and that it might not be a straight up representation of our world, however he'd put it on his twt. My guess is that it'll take place somewhere around 80ies, but it's either gonna take place in some unconventional place (far from Europa, think Abyssonia) or some serious alternative history will take place, think retrofuturism with Logic.
I’ve been thinking a lot about a third fear and hunger game and what time it should be placed in. At first, I thought a more modern time would work well as it would feel like us but… not us. But then I thought that it being set in the future would be better. Part of the reason why the first games are good is because they feel alien. And having the game be set now would feel more familiar. And who knows maybe they could do something with robots or AI.
