#funfact but chrismas tree was oryginaly pagan tradition for some pagan winter celebration that got incorporated into chrismas#catolic church had this politics that since it is not possible to force converted folks to abandon their customs it is better to#somehow incorporate them with little to none repainting#according to experts studyingng the bible Jesus proppably wasnt even born in winter#but church had to put their important celebrations in the same times of year the converted people held them so the swicharoo worked#so if non-christians want to dress a tree noting can stop them
