It seems to be deceased may have loved the color yellow or maybe a particular type of yellow flowers. The light glows flowers that hang and droops from the trees and/or branches around the casket. The light from the torchier seems to highlight all the different shade of yellow too.

Understanding the top benefits of hiring funeral directors
Funerals and cremation services are difficult to plan and that is why people hire funeral directors to help them with the planning. When your loved one dies, the last thing you want to think about is the funeral planning process and the logistics involved. Unfortunately, this leaves loved ones feeling stressed and overwhelmed at a time when they don’t have the emotional wherewithal or even sometimes enough money to plan for the services. This is where hiring a funeral director comes in. https://thecityquarter.com.au/understanding-the-top-benefits-of-hiring-funeral-directors/

Direct Burial - A Simple, Respectful Farewell with THE LAST TIME
Direct burial is an option that many families find meaningful, especially those who wish for a simpler and more affordable approach to saying goodbye. At THE LAST TIME, our funeral directors offer direct burial services that allow families to honor their loved ones in a dignified yet straightforward way.
What is Direct Burial?
Direct burial involves burying the deceased shortly after passing, without a formal viewing, visitation, or traditional funeral service beforehand. In many ways, direct burial returns to a more straightforward and humble form of honoring the deceased. This option is typically chosen by families who prioritize simplicity, affordability, or an expedited burial process for cultural or personal reasons.
Benefits of Choosing Direct Burial
Simplicity and Ease: Direct burial streamlines the funeral process, bypassing additional ceremonies or viewings that may require extra planning. This can be particularly helpful for families who prefer a low-key approach or who may find the logistics of a full funeral too overwhelming.
Affordability: Since direct burial does not require a formal viewing or funeral service, it is often a more cost-effective option. Families save on additional expenses such as embalming, casket rentals for viewings, and the cost of a traditional service. This makes direct burial an attractive choice for families seeking a respectful farewell without the added financial burden.
Respect for Tradition: Many people choose direct burial for religious or cultural reasons. Some traditions emphasize the importance of burying the deceased as quickly as possible, making direct burial a fitting option.
Environmental Considerations: Direct burial, especially when paired with an eco-friendly casket or shroud, can be a more environmentally conscious option. It avoids embalming chemicals and minimizes the materials used in burial, allowing for a simpler and greener farewell.
How Direct Burial Works with THE LAST TIME
At THE LAST TIME, our funeral directors understand that direct burial is a deeply personal choice, often driven by practical or cultural considerations. Here is how our team supports families who choose direct burial:
Transportation and Preparation: Our funeral directors will arrange transportation of the deceased from the place of passing to the burial site. If the family prefers, a simple, respectful preparation of the body can be arranged before burial, but embalming is typically not necessary.
Cemetery Arrangements: THE LAST TIME can help families select a burial plot and finalize arrangements with the cemetery. Our team liaises with the cemetery on behalf of the family, ensuring that all necessary details are handled with professionalism and respect.
Private Farewell: Some families choose to hold a private, informal farewell at the burial site, allowing close family and friends to say goodbye in an intimate setting. Our funeral directors support families in creating a brief, meaningful moment to honor their loved one’s memory.
Flexibility for Future Memorial Services: Although a traditional service does not accompany direct burial, many families choose to hold a memorial service at a later date. This option allows families to gather and remember the deceased in a more relaxed setting. THE LAST TIME can also assist in planning a memorial service if desired.
Why Choose THE LAST TIME for Direct Burial?
At THE LAST TIME, our funeral directors believe that every farewell should be treated with dignity and compassion. We understand the unique needs of each family and provide guidance, support, and personalized care for those choosing direct burial.
Our goal is to ease the burden of planning during a time of grief, offering a straightforward, dignified approach that respects each family’s preferences and cultural practices. Whether families are drawn to the simplicity, affordability, or ecological benefits of direct burial, THE LAST TIME is here to offer a compassionate, professional experience.
For families seeking a simple and respectful way to say goodbye, direct burial with THE LAST TIME allows for a dignified farewell without the complexities of a traditional funeral. We’re here to help you honor your loved one with a farewell that feels meaningful and true to their wishes.

Just used these words in a letter of formal grievance...
"With the current #MeToo, #BearInTheWoods, #TimesUp & #Mansplaining movements taking over social media, alongside the ongoing investigations into the Hull Funeral Directors (of which several more which have recently come to light) I would assume, like others, you will want to be doing all you can to avoid any kind of negative press."
Oh yes Man in funeral directors who spoke me like shit when the mistake was your end, you messed with the wrong woman this time.

A florist's gotta do, what a florist's gotta do!
Following my ‘delightful’ conversation with the funeral director on Thursday, and after listening to my mum rant about it for the past forty-eight hours - she does not tolerate anyone disrespecting her children, no matter how old we are - I have decided to register a grievance against him. I don’t necessarily want to take it down a formal route (this time), as he could have just been having a bad day (although even then that’s no excuse) however, I do want it noted that his attitude and behaviour towards me was unacceptable. This isn’t just for my own sake; I’ve encountered far worse and have no problem addressing it with him directly. However, I’m concerned about how he might treat others. What if there are staff members under his supervision who he feels it’s acceptable to speak to in such a manner? People who may not feel they can stand up to him for fear of losing their job.
To me, he’s nothing more than an arrogant blip on a Thursday morning. His behaviour won’t affect, or impact me, but it could be seriously detrimental to someone else, and I couldn’t sleep at night knowing someone might be cowering every time he enters a room, afraid to speak up.
I do hope they record their phone calls; that way he can’t deny and turn it into a his-word, against-mine situation.
Someone has also just said to me "How do you know he's not out there among his contemporaries, and potential customers, sharing untruths about your work" - I'd not thought of that and hope that would not be the case! 😱😱
On a lighter and more flowery note, here is a cross-section of flowers used in some of the beautiful tributes I’ve been honoured to create this week.
And don’t forget, it’s a bank holiday weekend (aren’t I glad I’m not camping this year!). Once we close at lunchtime today, we won’t reopen until Wednesday morning. But don’t worry - those of you with orders due on Tuesday, I’ll be here first thing to prepare them for you.

Detailed Description of Some Essential Funeral Directors Services
Families face a tough time during the passing away of a family member. They have to mourn over the death and, at the same time, make arrangements for a grand funeral. Since doing both things together is not practical for them, they seek the services of funeral directors from a reputed funeral home. These professionals play a crucial role by helping families organise a funeral ceremony of their choice and offering the entire range of funeral services.
Funeral directors have multiple roles to play in funeral events, and we have covered the details of some in this post. Their responsibilities extend from the moment they receive a call about a person's death until the burial or cremation is over when they provide support, guidance, and practical assistance to the bereaved. Some other key roles and responsibilities of funeral directors are presented below.
INITIAL CONSULTATION
A professional from the team led by the funeral director will meet the family to discuss their wishes and preferences regarding the services. In most cases, this person is the funeral arranger who offers funeral director services on their behalf.
Their role is to guide their clients through the available options, such as burial or cremation, the type of services, and any religious or cultural considerations that a family may have.
COLLECTION AND CARE OF THE BODY
A very important responsibility of funeral directors is to take the body in their custody and provide every care and respect during handling. They have to collect the body from the place of death and transport it to the funeral home or the home of the deceased. Throughout the process, they ensure that respect and dignity are maintained, and they will also prepare for the viewing if the family desires it.
DOCUMENTATION AND LEGALITIES
An important part of funeral director services sydney is handling and completing necessary paperwork and legal requirements. They will engage in registering the death and obtaining necessary permits and certificates before the body is disposed of.
ARRANGING FUNERAL SERVICE
Funeral directors are also responsible for arranging funeral services while considering the family's preferences. They must select the coffin or casket of their choice, make floral arrangements according to their wishes, and add every other element specified by the family.
Funeral directors also have to coordinate with relevant parties, such as clergy or the officiant, cemetery or crematorium staff, musicians, the food catering team, and other service providers for transportation, floral arrangements, etc.
