REDRAW

I missed these two alot and I needed any excuse to draw them again then I rembered an old artwork I did of them and redraw them!

this is the redrawn piece in question..and looking at it now is so funny, not only the redraw feels more like stick-figure then Chibi but, fumumodoki witnessed a CRAZY change in her design! (popopo's also witnessed a change but, mostly in the cape design and color palette)

did another of these silly redraw memes but, with popopo verse people! I picked these precise expression to how it fits in the situations I imagined them in (Nana dealing with a VERY rude costumer, Fumumodoki dealing with some random popstarian who still beleives her dad is Evil, Popopo waking up at 9AM and finding either her stuff and gia's (gooey) are gone or shitload of gifts are scattered in their room like a late-night party, Aand Ado dealing with people that still mistake pen for a pencil or mix a brush'es name with other)

this was really fun and I might make part two with Crowned and Dedede and his workers (thorn queen, escargoon, Shadow...)

hi and welcome to my kirby AU where I took the 8-bit games and the pilot episode and mixed the thing in a blender, what you see before you are 3/4 of the main cast of this AU ♥ (yes, that’s my redesign for fumumodoki, I want her to have similar traits to both her penguin dad and her mom..who I will show once I make a proper ref of her)

so, art block is practically killing me and I’m trying my best survive from it by doodling my beloved child..

some of you might recognize her from this artwork I made a while ago and yep,that’s her. but, for more formal introduction uhhh..

Meet princess fumumodoki! the daughter of Crowned DeDeDe and Queen Dreamland (she’s dead), also, twinkle popopo’s best friend! she’s a kind kid who likes exploring the world with fresh eyes and stand up for people who are without help, she’s also sassy, often mocking people who tones the importance of her royal role but, she’s easily forgiven to ones who’ve done her wrong.. she’s also comptetive, often lurking around in dreamland to look for a sword user to ask for a challenge though most of the time, the sword user in question is metaknight due the weird policy her father puts which stats for prohibition for anyone to battle with fumumodoki..

relationship stats:

-twinkle popopo: her first ever and long lasting best friend. when she’s not looking for people to challenge, she’s with popopo. these two activities consists of sky racing and picnics. also, challenges that the pinkpuff ball offers when the princess found no one to train/battle with.

-Crowned DeDeDe: her biological father and “object of annoyance”. due their difference in the ideal of “monarchy”, these two go on a long standing argument that often then not ends up with em not talking for days.. despite that, fumu still cares for her father and will not take any outsider insult of him.

-Meta Knight: mentor in the arts of sword and object of admiration. fumumodoki is a sword fighter and due her dad’s policy around her, she rarely ever gets to thrust her sword around and thus, she turns to uncle metaknight due the fact he’s a close friend to her dad and she’s very familiar with his presence around the castle.

if you couldn’t tell yet, P&S artstyle has been recently occupied in my brain and it’s slowly eating it like pudding so, have another practice thingie for it but, this time it’s a redraw of a frame from episode 1 (ft: fumumodoki and sparkle ppp cuz those are their literal eyeshapes in a way)

Did you know! in kirby of the stars pilot, DDD had a different design from the final production, as he sticks more like his 64 model and the fur thingie on his head is replaced with a crown

also, he was hostile toward ppp in this series for once reason and one reason only..

the king or..emperor feared for the safety of his daughter, who was very naively open to befriending new people of all kind and.. but, after the king witnessed with his own eyes how the pink puffball has proteced him and his daughter, the emperor puts his faith on the puffball, even letting them ride his back and charging towards the other monsters with his daughter flying next to them.

in short, Pilot! DDD is a good father and a dilf.

I left the dilf in the basement for FAR too long so, I dusted him out and gave him a.. new look IG? anyways uh yeah, Crowned Dedede, who is based off the 8-bit games and the pilot episode. Obviously The ruler of dreamland and fumumodoki's dad! his personality is more akin to the adventure era.. an arrogant king with the thrive for challenges and tournaments but, has a golden heart and will protect his town and beloved daughter with all what he got.

why hello there, I am back and I have even more Thorn Queen and Nana stuff to offer lmao

I want to do those panel things where two characters are standing front profile thing and bubble speech plasted down so, I did it with the gals! why is thorn mocking her? cuz She likes rubbing her authority at peoople.

Thorn is thee right hand assistant to Crowned dedede and the one in charge of "looking after" her fellow staff workers to see on whether they're doing their job properly or not. Meanwhile, Nana is fumumodoki's assistant. she brushes her hair, get her clothes done.. and that's it really. Fumu can handle most thing by her own and just keeps Nana around cuz "besties".

as for what I updated about their design? thorn is tan now cuz it fits her, has a braid behind the bush hair of hers now, added bit spikiness to the few sides of her hair. Ad for Nana, I tried to go with the classic "maid outfit" style so, I added frills on the side of her apron, made the shoulders smallers, updated the ribbon to look more fancier aand added a fumumodoki's mark on her band.
