Honestly I 100% agree with you. As much as I love this show it has its flaws on that matter you perfectly discussed about. When I first started the show I didn’t even notice because I was sooo consumed with June’s survival but as the episodes kept going the more I saw how there was a clear line that separates June and people of color.

yeah absolutely and its a line the show seems to do EVERYTHING not to explicitly address in the same way it addresses class, reproductive rights and lgbt+ issues. i hope the show improves too! glad i’m not the only one who feels this way - merry xox

I have been told or seen it in media that Australians are crazy about surfing. That it's basically the only sport they know of lol. I swear whenever Australia comes into the conversion I'm having with people, surfing and getting drunk always find its way to the conversation.

lol really?? I know australia is hyped up as being the country where we spend most of our time on the beach and love surfing and have nice beachy waves!! But in my experience I’ve never talked to anyone about surfing!! it might also differ from state to state because where I live it’s too hot and the water is infested with jellyfish or we’re always on cyclone warning so I don’t think many people surf here!! but the Australians love drinking/are drunk is v v true, it’s australian culture to drink!!

I just saw your post about the naked thing and I think I know what you mean. Elu's cuddle scene put me off a bit too because they were mostly naked in it. While theres nothing inherently wrong with them being naked I always find myself feeling weird and questioning the reasoning behind it, because someone chose to show them like that and you can only hope it wasn't just so people could stare at the naked gay teen couple. Gayness is oversexualized enough elsewhere, I don't want to see it here too

completely agree, for me everything nowadays is oversexualized. Like can't people just be friends and do fun things?

Just because one person let their friends see there hair doesn’t mean this is what a majority should be represented as because at the end of the day skam italia is supposed to be showing us sana and it’s clearly established that sana has a very strong connection to her religion and her struggle throughout the series is that she wants to be accepted by others without having to compromise her religion and by having her show her hair it mskes her motivation weaker and makes her friendship weaker by default if they needed to see her hair to accept her

Ragnar and Ivar are both younger than their older brothers. They both are mad geniuses at schemes and war plans. They’re strategic thinkers, born to lead.

Rollo And Ubbe though I love them both, have older brother syndrome where they don’t like living in the shadow of their younger brother. Ubbe And Rollo though both are pretty awesome live in their brothers shadows. Ubbe might have a little more of Ragnars sensitivity but he is no Ragnar, he’s no leader YET, lol he may prove me wrong.
