i think its funny that miss mine fujiko is by no means whatsoever a feminist character in any and every stretch of the word and yet she does one thing consistently that companies TRYING to imitate feminism (disney, the mcu, etc) fail at. which is just Being Nice To And Looking Out For Other Women

#my favorite is the most standout example of fujiko NOT getting along with a woman is in from siberia with love w judy #and that was an intentional ruse to keep lupin from suspecting that not only were they planning on betraying him together but in fact #pretty close as far as one-off characters go lmao.#even w all the horribly handled p5 stuff with ami #fujiko never ever returns the one-sided beef. because 1 this is a child and 2 shes trying to teach her her worth as a person #independent of lupin and whoever else. ofc coming from fujiko its flawed teaching BUT STILL THAT ADDS TO IT #im not stupid enough to read it as INTENTIONAL feminism but it is an unfortunately uncommon thing in men-dominated anime of its time #anyway sorry its just one of my favorite things about her :)#cherry talk
